Publix

It’s difficult to explain my love of Publix to people who have never been to one.
«It’s just a supermarket.»
«No my friend, it’s not just a supermarket, it’s a Publix. It’s the supermarket that little supermarkets want to grow up to be.»
They are always clean and well organized. The shelves are always well stocked. The prices are low. The employees helpful and polite. Always a great experience. They truly believe in the old saying «The customer is always right.»
Aside from being a wonderful supermarket, they also offer some of the most delicious subs and baked goods around. Their chicken tender sub is incredible, and the cakes and pies are fantastic. Pretty much anything they make is good.
This particular location is great. I visit quite often and seldom have any issues. On the few instances that something wasn’t perfect, they made sure I left completely satisfied.

I absolutely love Publix, I started working in Orange City about a year ago and have been to the one in the Crown Centre quite a few times for their delicious subs. My only complaint is that they don’t read the special instructions on their online orders. On their holiday sub I asked for lettuce on 2 separate occasions and neither time did my sub get lettuce. Normally I wouldn’t mind but the Publix in Port Orange where I live they get my order right each and every time. I highly recommend Publix and it’s my grocery store of choice! I would just like the deli dept to be more attentive to orders that are placed :)

The WESTERN UNION service at this location has earned a great amount of appreciation from my entire family! Their pro-​active and adamant convictions to prevent a family member from sending money to a foreign country saved her from being scammed. I was surprised and impressed, to say the least, by the compassion and care that was taken by all of the persons in this establishment. It is so refreshing to know that people like this still exist and I thank Western Union as a whole for not only educating their employees on these situations, but training and encouraging them to help prevent it.

Ok, I love Publix!!! and this is the closest to my house. Any time I go in, everyone, I mean everyone is so nice!!! Even the customers. It’s like if you’re sad, you walk in sad, you ALWAYS walk out happy!!! They have super fresh produce and meats. I love their sushi, always yummy. It’s also very easy to navigate and clearly marked for the iasles and if you’re like me and a novice to cooking, you can ask anyone that works there where something is and they know!!! I love it!

This is my local Publix. I love it, so much so that I would rather come here than go to the Winn Dixie which is much, much closer to my house. Eww Winn Dixie has to be the most gross grocery store ever.
The deli counter is very nice, the store is always clean. I only have a concern over the variety in the produce section. I hate thinking I have to go to Whole Foods to get a few ecelectic items. I wish the produce manager would get on the ball!

I go to this grocery store whenever I’m visiting down here in the Deltona-​Orange City area. Publix has a great deli service with some really tasty prosciuto, nice cheese selection, great seafood selection, nice meat, excellent produce and everything else one needs to dress up a table. I have found all my ingredients here to make sushi, Mexican, Chinese and outdoor grilling. I know Mexican isn’t big down here yet but there were enough available ingredients to put on the dog (so to speak). I used to live in Florida many years ago and I haven’t even bothered to try Winn Dixie again. Publix is that good in my opinion.

I’m at this place what seems to be everyday, so I figured I better give it its due. This Publix is always clean and well organized with very friendly staff. I see the same managers all the time and they always smile and ask how you are and sometimes stop just to ask if you are finding everything okay.
Their selection is decent, especially in the beer and wine section, however produce at times is lacking. It’s either all or nothing. If you go in on a random Wednesday you may find an ample robust supply of tomatoes, basil, or garlic, but the very next week there will either be none, or what you have to choose from is so bad there might as well be none.
My husband is a fan of the Greenwise organic food selection and has found some healthy alternatives that are pretty tasty.
Overall a good place to shop.

This is a great great Publix. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the management team always seems to be on the ball.
They’ll even order something specific for you if you ask. That goes a long way with me, especially for a big supermarket.
I know Wal-​Mart is cheaper, but I’d rather not walk into that hellhole if I can help it. I’d much rather give my money to this very smoothly managed Publix.
The only reason I’m not giving it 4 stars is that on some of the more non-​standard items, their selection is a tad more limited. But that is improving, especially on the beer. I’ve been very impressed with their selection lately.
