These guys know what they are doing. Very experienced, very well equipped. I called them to come and look at my Subzero refrigerator that suddenly stopped cooling. They came the same day and were able to fix it right away. Saved me tons of time and money.

I contacted this place to repair the ice maker in my refrigerator. Alex said I needed a new one, cost $ 499. I stupidly did it. After the «repair,» ice would not dispense. Alex returned, said the latch was broken on the ice bin and would cost $ 350 for a new one. He said the incomplete repair was my fault because I didn’t tell him the ice would not dispense. First, it had never been a problem so hard to tell him about it. Second, there had recently been no ice to dispense. Again, how could I tell him about a problem that did not exist until he showed up. Lucky me, he would give me a good price on labor. I told him to get out of my house. Went online and found the part for $ 110, Got it. The labor consisted of sliding out the old ice bin and sliding in the new one. It still did not work. Obviously the latch is not broken. He either installed the wrong part or installed it incorrectly. And I also found the part he installed, cost $ 120. Will be filing a small claims action. However, they do not publish their address. Why? I will find them, but it makes me wonder why they try to hide their location. Don’t understand why they get so many rave reviews when they are such a rip off.

I scheduled an appointment with their tech guy to have a look at my Sub-​Zero refrigerator, model 642, aprox 20 years old. The refrigerator section stopped cooling and the service light was blinking. The tech discovered that the refrigerator compressor went out and there was a freon leak in the evaporator. The tech was back with a new compressor and evaporator 2 days later and completed the job in about 4 – 5 hours. The cost of such major repair is not cheap but replacing the refrigerator would cost significantly more. The new compressor now works great, the temperature inside the refrigerator section is ideal. They give 5 year warranty on all replaced parts.

Sub Zero was not working correctly. They came same day. Seemed like reasonable pricing (but, i didn’t shop around).

The temperature started to get warmer in the freezer section of my Sub-​Zero side by side refrigerator. I called D&V Appliance Repair for help. When it comes to high-​end appliances such as Sub-​Zero I believe you should call an expert. Their service didn’t disappoint me. The repairman showed up promptly, he was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He gave us a quote for repair and started to work as soon as he got our approval. Our freezer was repaired in couple of hours. Their job is covered with 5 year part warranty. If you have any problems with your Sub-​Zero refrigerator or freezer I can highly recommend using them

It is always unexpected, unplanned and very much inconvenient to have you refrigerator broken. Luckily, there is such company as D&V Appliance Repair. When my KtichenAid refrigerator stopped cooling, I gave them a call and had a technician named Alex at my front door within an hour! I was amazed by the turn-​around time. Alex was neat, polite, and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the problem with my refrigerator quickly. Besides his excellent knowledge he was also very friendly and courteous and took his time to explain to me the problem with my refrigerator. Then he replaced the failed parts, and the refrigerator started to work again in a blink of an eye. Our Sub-​Zero refrigerator was not cooling for several hours, and had warmed up, so I needed somebody to come and have a look at it asap.
We called D&V Appliance repair and got an appointment right away. The repair guy found the problem with my refrigerator quickly and wrote up an estimate for it to be fixed.
As the problem could be solved immediately I didn’t hesitate to agree to pay for the job and sign the estimate.
He obviously knew what he was doing and in couple of hours the problem was solved. Outstanding service!

Alex came to my house today to fix our broken GE refrigerator. He was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the refrigerator and fix it on site as he had all the parts in his van. Great! He got the job done in about an hour. Great customer service and same day service. I have used D&V Appliance repair before for my Whirlpool Duet washer and I am going to continue to use them in the future.

My refrigerator had problem with frozen drain tube which caused icing to form at the bottom of the refrigerator and water would leak, which is very common issue with any refrigerator. You just need to get to the drain tube and free up the water flow and clean the passage. I called D & V and the woman who answered the call said there would be $ 65 charge to come out and give estimate. If we don’t have them do the work, we have to pay $ 65 and if we have them do the work, they will waive the $ 65 charge. The technician came out and said the estimate would be $ 369 with 20% discount. I said that sounds too expensive and asked how much work is involved. He said it is for the labor and material. I didn’t want to get this done as it seemed to be way over what I was expecting to pay. I was at work and my wife tried to call me but I couldn’t answer the call as I was in a meeting. She said she tried to call me to ask, because this guy from D & V appliance told my wife that she has to pay the $ 369 up front before he starts his work. Because I couldn’t answer her call, she just paid the guy with credit card, even before he started the work. When I came home, wife told me that he was in our house for less than an hour and he left a receipt with explanation of the charges. The paperwork had $ 240 for the labor and $ 120 for total parts. When I asked my wife if he has replaced any part, she said all he did was to spray something into the drain tube.
No part was replaced and the guy has worked for less than an hour and he charged $ 369 saying it is with 20% discount.
I have nobody to blame but myself, but wanted to make sure nobody else gets taken as we have by these people.
Very DISHONEST.

This place will rip you off. Had them quote repairing an oven door and they came up with $ 551 parts and $ 375 labor for a whopping $ 851. I just bought the OEM parts online for $ 220 and it will probably take me (average DIY) about 60 minutes to do it all. Either call another place or go to
or like site and DIY.

Two days before Thanksgiving I noticed a problem with our Viking oven. The oven sometimes came on and sometimes did not. I called D&V Appliance Repair, the receptionist was professional and helpful and the repairman showed up exactly when they scheduled. He also called me 20 minutes ahead to let me know that he is on his way. After checking up the oven, the repairman told me it was the igniter to be replaced. He had the igniter and the job was done in less than 30 minutes. Great service! I’d definitely call them again for other appliance issues in the future.

I appreciated the Saturday appointment time, and they were on time, clean, and very professional. I will definitely call them again for any appliance repairs!

Great same day service. My GE Monogram refrigerator was not cold and I called for repair service. Alex was at my door with an hour. He worked quickly and did an excellent job. Now the refrigerator works better than ever.

I was very pleased with customer service and as well as the technician ALEX who came out and identified the problem quickly, he explained it to me thoroughly and came back within 7 days to install parts. I will definitely use this company again without any reservations.

The bottom portion of our refrigerator stopped cooling so I called D&V Appliance Repair for service. The scheduler provided a 10 am to 1 pm window for the next day. The technician arrived here exactly at 10 am – even provided an update call of his ETA. Technician was really friendly and thorough regarding problem with refrigerator – turned out my mom overloaded the refrigerator with food and it just needed to be defrosted. I would recommend D&V Appliance Repair since they seem to be pretty reliable, professional, informative, and the customer service is quite good.

D & V knows the true meaning of customer service. Our refrigerator stopped working last night so I decided to call Sears and they were no help. I called another local vendor and he was going to charge me $ 40 for the home visit, but they were extremely rude. D & V on the other hand took the time on Labor Day to come over to the house and work on my refrigerator. I truly recommend them if you are looking for fast and professional service.

D&V Appliance Repair assisted me with a refrigerator repair on Labor Day in a very professional manner. I was greeted by a guy name Alex, he was on time and did his job quietly. He gave us an estimate and mentioned that our refrigerator needed additional parts in order to be fixed. He placed an order immediately to repair within two days. He explained everything for us mentioned a 5 year guaranty. He also mentioned he would take a look at our freezer at no cost.

I was very happy with their honest, professional and friendly service. I called this company with a problem with my GE-​Monogram refrigerator as it was making loud and constant noise. Alex came in time for the appointment and he was fully equipped. He had a needed replacement part for my refrigerator model and quickly installed it. The noise disappeared immediately. I would recommend the company and this particular technician!

I have a Samsung refrigerator that the freezer was not cooling. I called D&V appliance and spoke to Ellis to schedule for an appointment in which she was able to accommodate for the following day. The day of the appointment, Ellis called me to informed that Alex the technician was on his way. Alex arrived on time and was very professional. He assessed the problem and determine that the door seal was out of alignment and the compressor needed to be replaced. I highly recommend This company to anyone who may be having issues with their refrigerator.

I am a landlord with several different properties in Orange County. This is my first review on Unilocal.I used D&V appliance repair to fix 2 refrigerators and a dryer already and I will use them again. They are exactly what I was looking for in appliance repair, fast, professional and great communication.
They completely saved me from headache regarding any appliance repair at my properties. I just give them tenant’s phone number and then get a repair estimate from them a day or two later. After my approval they complete the job.
Quick and easy! I didn’t get any kind of complains from tenants, so I assume that are satisfied with the service provided too.

After calling several other repair shops I decided to go with D&V, mostly based on the reviews of my fellow Unilocalers. I have a 10 year old GE that was not cooling on the freezer side. I was not disappointed.
D&V’s technician came in, assed the problem and I had my freezer back working in no time! I mostly appreciated how knowledgeable and efficient the tech was.
Overall I would recommend D&V and I would definitely use them again if needed, I also was pleasantly surprised with their 5 year warranty on installed parts.
