I don’t normally eat fast food, but this place isn’t really bad for you. It’s actually really healthy and the food is a hearty meal. It gets busy but the workers manage the place really well and always with a smile on their face. It’s also delicious. and affordable, not to mention quick. and convenient! I like getting the half and half with brown rice and vegetables. I make sure to get two extra sauces so the rice can be flavored too. They also have kimchi but I haven’t tried it yet! My BFF says its good though, and she knows her stuff, so it must mean it’s a winner :)

Meh. Usually don’t go here but just decided to just get some basic food. The one thing I like about flame broiler is that it’s healthier fast food? It may not be healthy but it feels much better than just going to del taco or something. For about 6 bucks you can get a basic bowl of meat and rice. Or meat veggies and rice. It tastes pretty decent, but you definitely need to use the«magic sauce.» That’s what gives it the good flavor and compliments the hot sauce and meat very well. There isn’t much to say about the food cause it’s pretty basic. This location has a LOT of seating. Good for groups of 4. It’s semi clean? Not dirty but it could be better. But yeah your basic flame broiler. It’s in a good location.

Every time I come here I always wait just to get my order taken! This is the most convenient location to me or else I would go to a different one. The customer service is excellent but it sucks for the employee Francisco to be running back and forth from the kitchen to the register. This location definitely needs a larger staff

Horrible service. Rude and and crude, the lady behind the counter has picked the wrong industry. Would have been right at home as prison guard, security guard or grave digger, anywhere, where personality and charisma are not only not expected, but rather discouraged. Food does not compensate for this human stain of a person: mediocre meats, expensive and unsatisfying. Avoid, go to a different place, any place!

all I wanted was to eat here until we go to open the door after 11 am and the door was locked. The sign says they open at 1030 and the sign had the lit OPEN sign on. Employees were just staring at us and didn’t have the common courtesy to open the door or give us an explanation. .so we took our business elsewhere.

Horrible cashier. My friend and I decided to come here to grab a late dinner and we were not aware that they close at 9 and we came in at 8:45. We felt rushed but understood they were about to close so to be polite I told the cashier, «I’m sorry I’ll hurry I know you guys are about to close» and she goes«mmhm.» And looks away so rudely! I couldn’t believe it. They had 15 mins left to close! I didn’t have to be polite. So then, were filling our drinks and she just grabs the food, puts it in a bag, and rudely places it right by the drinks. It literally felt like she just dumped it on the counter. Doesn’t even say«your order is ready» nothing. RUDE. I couldn’t believe the mistreatment(for no given reason!), it was almost hilarious. Never, ever coming back. And I will be telling all my friends and family who come here. I don’t support nor invest in businesses with disrespectful employees.

I came in to get lunch a few hours before going into work, and was highly disappointed by the meal when I was able to finally eat it. I ordered a plain rice bowl with an extra side of chicken. The chicken was in tiny, burnt pieces, that was dry, charred and hard. I called to leave the feedback because surely, no customer wants burnt chicken! I spoke with someone who identified himself as the cook, who informed me that the chicken was cooked per normal, and that he knew it was not burnt. He suggested that I maybe did not like it, but insisted that the chicken was not burnt. I explained to him exactly what I was looking at in the bowl and he apologized. He offered to give me a refund if i return to the store, which i appreciate.

Flame broiler is always a quick lunch favorite for my and my friends. Been to multiple locations all over OC and this one is my favorite. The lunchtime cashier staff are always friendly and make actual conversation with you past just the basic transaction. No matter how busy it is they always remember who ordered what and promptly deliver food to your table or walk it over to wherever you are waiting if you ordered to-go. Kitchen is very efficient and I never have to wait long for my delicious bowl. Try«The Works» with brown rice. Magic sauce is a must have!

Place is not the cleanest. Owner needs to keep employees and have pride of ownership. Flower bed out front full of trash

I am a regular here and sadly moving away. It’s always a pleasure seeing Judith & Rudy. I usually go before the lunch rush and the food is consistently good. Thank so much and I’ll miss you guys!

Good service and decent food. I have been coming here for 10 years. The chef always makes mine fresh, because I order«no sauce». Better than the location on Chapman, near El Modena High.

Terrible service. That’s too bad because I love Flame Broiler but can’t stand bad customer service.

My girlfriend recently ate here and said the food didn’t taste right. She didn’t want to finish her bowl and later that day she ended up sick. Fast forward two days, shes in the doctors office getting an IV for severe dehydration from gastroenteritis. Usually flame broiler is pretty darn good, I don’t think I’ll be going back to this location.

Located off Meats and Tustin near the Target and Starbucks shopping center with a AYCE magic sauce bar, specializing in carnivore bowls and herbivore bowls or a almost perfect partnership of both. Servings can please the not so hungry one, and can accomondate the one with the bottomless pit with the extra meat portion. Bowl choices include angus beef, chicken or veggie with an all white meat option and choice of brown or white rice. Green onions added upon request and sn endless supply of magic sauce or hot sauce. Food is usually fast and fresh and served with a smile. Fountain drinks available with flavored ice teas and extra large cups.

Service continues to decline. We already opted out of other locations so we are done with Flame Broiler, which is a shame because we love their brown rice. Last visit the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me when I came in as I stood at the counter with my pre ordered bowls sitting right next to her. She was too busy talking to the cooks through the window, then proceeded to flat out walk away. I assumed she had to get an order for the other patrons sitting at the table, but no she was going to get her cell phone and came back looking down texting. I finally asked her outright if she could see me. She comes up rings me up hands me the bowls without saying a word and goes back to her cell phone. Icing on the cake? Get home and chomp down on a BONE the size of my FINGER in my bowl. Disgusting. I also don’t think they ever change out the sauce sitting out.

Clean, fast, and DELICIOUS. The people working here are always super friendly and they keep the place sparkling clean. The beef bowl with all veggies and magic and hot sauce!!! Oh my, YES! Not to mention I feel like you get a lot of food(quality at that) for a good price. The employees are what make it for me though will go out of my way to come here just to see them! Thank you!

My family and I decided on flame broiler for dinner at the last minute on friday night not realizing that they close at 9:00 pm. I called three other flame broilers at 8:45 to place a pick up order… this location accepted my big order to be picked up five minutes to 9:00. They not only waited few minutes pass closing to let me come pick up my order but they were glad to do so. And the food tasted amazing. Great customer service. Will definitely make this my fav flame broiler location.

My only complaint is if you gonna have a see through kitchen window for clients to see the kitchen, don’t have the cook standing there with a tooth pick in his mouth. Other than that, food is better than most flame broilers and the price is fair.

Another Reason The OC is the Best Place to Live No Skin, No Frying, No MSG, and No Trans Fat. Throw in the«Magic Sauce» and you have one of my new favorite chains. This best in its class fast food place first opened in Fullerton! Yup. The OC. Now there are over 70 locations throughout California and Arizona. The majority of dishes are Beef, Chicken, or Ribs. The fresh veggies include Cabbage, Carrots, and Broccoli. My first dish, after seeing this chain for years, was«The Works» at this new location. Wow! The restaurant even proudly displays its nutritional facts. Kinda weird to say it. but I am a fan of this«healthy,» yet tasty, food chain. Flame Broiler, Orange. Another reason the OC is the best place to live!
