I’ve been here a couple of time and the worker are very nice and clean and I love the subs but I just came back from there and the guy looked at me like I just killed his dog and he didn’t want me there he was not rude but just looked agry but the last time I went the girl was super nice so for me I’m still coming back hopefully to see the guy happy and get a great sub

Walked into store; 3 staff members were present. One cleaning the stove, one sweeping and one on break. The staff member cleaning had his back to me while I stood at point of order waiting. Staff member who was sweeping called over to the worker cleaning the stove and no response. The staff member sweeping them comes over to me and asks what kind of sandwich I would like as she puts down the broom and starts to make my sandwich without washing hands. Workers should wash their hands!

After hearing so much about this place and how great their sandwiches are we decided to try it out for dinner. I was soooo looking forward to the philly cheese steak, my daughter wanted to try the Big Kahuna and my brother wanted the pastrami… well to our disappointment they told us they where out of steak and pastrami! I mean how does even happen. Granted they are in a busy area… they should be prepared for high volume. I doubt we will coming back here… I just stick to Firehouse Subs!

I was really excited to eat a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and came across a piece of hair in my sandwich. It was curly and short so I’m guessing it came from the young guy with curly hair who was making our sandwich. My appetite instantly went away and I just wanted to gag because I ate most of the sandwich already. Yuck! The workers are not very friendly and welcoming at this location. Love their sandwiches, but I’d rather choose a more sanitary and welcoming location.

I really enjoy Jersey Mikes. I find their food to be much better than subway. This location Unfortunately has slow customer service. My wife and I live in the area so we generally come by here in the evening– the crew that works then seems to clean up and turn lights off early. If we didn’t walk up to the door to check we’d think they were closed. My guess, they want to get out of there as soon as their shift is over.

2÷28÷161:19 pm. We were totally disgusted by the lack of good hygiene by one worker in particular. No name tag but she was young, African American, hair sticking straight out the side of her hat on both sides, very hyper and immature. In between making sandwiches, she was going just beyond the grill to her own stash of chips, something to dip them in and her drink. Yuk!!! Not washing her hands NOR using hand sanitizer any of the times. She saw me looking at her and clearly gave me a «what in the hell are you looking at?» look. She has a cold and sneezed without covering her nose and mouth because she had gloves on that we are assuming she didn’t want to take off. However, if you know anything about coughing and sneezing and how far your germs go, the whole scenario was appalling. As she is listening to two other workers talk about a customer in a very bad manner, the same«chip» girl is wiping her nose and scratching her scalp underneath the hat on her head. All this in the food preparation area! I lost my appetite and still feel like gagging. To the young man with dark hair telling the story about the customer, and the Caucasian girl with then ponytail listening and repeating it to the chip-eating, snot-nosed, unclean worker, remember that customers see and hear everything and it’s not your home but a place of business where people come for a clean meal and to relax for the 20 minutes it may take to eat a meal there. Wash you hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, get your hair away from the food and eat your food on your actual lunch break! Gross!

I love Jersey Mike’s and luckily this location is right next to my home and work! The employee’s are always so friendly and the sandwich is NEVER bad. My current favourite is a mini number 9 with pepperjack! Even at their busiest time I can be out of there in 5 – 10 minutes(which is not bad considering they hand slice the meat and cheese). I usually take it back to the office but will sometimes sit outside on a nice day.

Great– came her during lunch and ordered #5 regular(cold cut meats). As always, the meat was freshly sliced and tasted even better with olive oil. Wasn’t able to pull up a recent coupon, but was able to check in with my phone number. Sign up for Jersey Mike’s rewards card if you haven’t! Oh, and they have water cups. Location– Across from Westfield Main Place Mall and in the same plaza as Party City and Barnes and Nobles.

Talk about a good sandwich. Big and filling all for under $ 10. I’ve been eating here at this location on and off for months. They blow away other every day sandwich shops. Much fresher and a lot more food for your money.

I’m cheap and frankly have eaten my way around Angel Stadium too many times, so before those baseball games I stop here and get a sandwich. Sometimes, I even get a free sandwich(if the Angels score more than 10 runs in a game). Everyone working here has always been nice, and the sandwiches are always fresh. Their biggest sandwich could feed a family of four. I tend to order the original Italian or the California chicken. Their chicken kills anything Subway could ever offer. Of course, this is probably because they cook the chicken fresh on the griddle in front of your face. Obviously this is not any kind of diet sandwich place, so get ready to fatten up(carbs! cheese! mayo!). They do have healthier options but lets be real no one wants that misery.

Gave this place two chances. First time we came they were out of turkey. Second time they were out of BREAD… How does a sandwich shop run out of BREAD??? Poor customer service, and even worse food selection. Do yourself a favor and visit another location.

Located in the same plaza as the Party City. Parking isn’t too bad. Came in around 6 on a weekday and no one was there! Workers greeted me and I gave them my coupon for a free birthday meal! Sign up with their eclub and you’ll get a coupon for a free birthday meal on the day of your birthday. So you get your choice of any reg sub and a drink. What I got: Chipotle Cheese Steak: comes with grilled onions, peppers, and chipotle mayo. I added on lettuce and tomatoes. Usually I get the Big Kahuna, but the Chipotle Cheese Steak is definitely good too! It was a pretty messy sandwich though, but that’s just how I like my sandwiches. Ate half for dinner and saved the other half for my lunch the next day. Service: Person making my sandwich was the best! Too bad I didn’t get his name… he was super friendly and was doing ‘tricks’ on the grill. Gave me a bag of chips and a cookie for free too!

The food is phenomenal. I mean honestly it’s probably the best subs I have ever had from a chain place. But I won’t probably ever visit this location due to the following: My time, along with everyone’s, is valuable. I know stopping in here for lunch would take probably 15 minutes of my time depending on the line. I wasn’t surprised that there were 6 people in front of me, mostly ordering only one regular sub each. But, I was shocked to wait 30 minutes from the time I got in line until I cashed out. Actually, appalled might be a better word. There were 3 girls working, one was mostly on the grill or filling things, the other strictly doing meats and cheese slicing, and the third was putting on the toppings. Seems like it would be a good system except the girl slicing the meat just continued to only do that while the one putting on the toppings was doing one sandwich at a time, bagging the sandwich, taking off her gloves, ringing the customer up, then going back and repeating the process. Honestly, I still don’t even know how it took so long to help 6 customers and make about 10 sandwiches. They worked extremely inefficiently. Once I got to the register, there were 10 sandwiches behind mine with meat and cheese already on them and the girl KEPTSLICING! Instead of moving over to help catch up with toppings she just kept lining up sandwiches and let the third girl do 5 things per customer. Extremely inefficient. Then, what was the cherry on top of a not so wonderful sandwich line experience was the clear tension between the employees. They snapped at each other a few times while the customers all stood and observed. It was extremely awkward. This location has clear communication issues and the management needs to recognize this and step in. If you can’t communicate well you can’t work well, and when you can’t work well then you start slowly losing business. As I said, I value my time and I would’ve taken a subpar sandwich from Jimmy Johns that I could’ve ordered online and had delivered to my doorstep in the time it took me to get in line and pay for my sub here at Jersey Mikes without watching painfully awkward employee tension filled bickering. And for cheaper too. I hope this issue is recognized and hopefully corrected, soon.

Didn’t get to eat at this location. You would think a business would be smart enough to know that if they’ve got a promotion going that it might be busy and plan accordingly. I walked in to «Oh we ran out of bread». Sandwich shop with no bread= 1 star

Not a fan, the best thing about the sandwiches were the chips that accompanied it. The sandwich was definitely lacking in flavor, super disappointing especially for the price. I got a regular italian and turkey, both«Mike style», 2 bags of chips, and a drink for a total of $ 20. The customer service was lacking. A little girl was ordering for her friend and forgot to tell the employee she just wanted salami, she apologized profusely. The guy just kept making the sandwich and ignored her. All the poor girl wanted was for him to say it was ok!!! Then when I was paying and the machine asked me if the amount was ok. The lady reached over and pressed Ok for me, just FYI that is for the customer to press, not the employees. The charge is going to my card not yours! Cherry on top. As I was leaving I heard the employees talking about a major order that was placed for the next morning. They were complaining about how early they had to get up and one of the employees mentioned he would have told the customer to go to subway… WHAT?! No appreciation for business whatsoever. My family is in the food business and from the star ratings on here you would think they would appreciate that they still have any business, as other customers have said, there are MANY other options in the area.

Last year I was in Florida and tried JM’s roast beef, then I gave this location a try. It wasn’t as good, but I did like my sandwich. Then I switched to the #13: The original italian. YUMMY! Its my new«go to» choice here at Jersey Mike’s. Its a nice, refreshing sandwich that makes my mouth and tummy happy. I order my sandwich online and then walk in and pick up. Its ready within 20 minutes and I never have to wait. I don’t visit Subway or Togos, or even Wich Which. This is my go to chain restaurant, or I’ll dash across the street to Hollingshead if I have ample time to wait for my food. I wish they sold coca cola products

How is Jersey Mike’s as a chain still in business? The only one I’ve ever tried is this location and I’ve been here twice. Quiznos tastes better and Subway offers a way better value. The first time I ordered a Turkey Breast and Provolone and it didn’t do it for me. It was pricey, bready and the sandwich didn’t have any flavor. I already regretted ordering once I opened my mouth, once I realized the customization options were so few… no avocado, no olives… two of my favorite ingredients. The second time I ended up here was because I went to Fresh and Easy and they were out of sandwiches. I went to Quiznos in that plaza only to find it was closed(one of the many that are closing of this quickly dying chain). So it was between Subway and Jersey Mike’s which were both on the way back to work. I was just going to go Subway, but thought, «What the heck, give Jersey Mike’s another chance, maybe your first visit a year ago was just a one time thing.» So there I am looking at the menu and thinking again, «Man, I forgot they don’t have avocado or olives. How much is it to add bacon? Where’s the price for that?» There was no cold sandwich that I was feeling. I ordered the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak, which is the one that has onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos and cheese. Their cheesesteak sandwich is okay, but could use a more meat. At $ 8 for a regular, I don’t feel the value is there. The whole time I was thinking, «Philly’s Best, Philly’s Best, Philly’s Best…» Philly’s Best just has more of everything. More meat, more juicy, sweet hot peppers, better taste and they have fries! It just topped off my bust of a lunch break. I wanted a $ 4 Turkey Croissant Sandwich at Fresh and Easy. I moved up to the $ 6 Quiznos Sub but they were out stone cold with the hand written«out of business» sign. Ended up spending $ 8 for Jersey Mike’s and it wasn’t even as satisfying a Fresh and Easy sammie. 30 minute quick run for to go order lunch break turned into 53 minutes. Not a good Howie day. If you do come, the service here is normal and it’s easy to find a seat. Both times I came for lunch on a weekday there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. I won’t be back. There are too many other sandwich options in the area. Subway, Philly’s Best, Charley’s, Cortina’s, Mattern Sausage and Deli, Hollingshead, Paninoteca Maggio…
