I definitely miss«momma», but finally broke in the new girls and they are very sweet to me and my little girls. Always busy in the mornings but always provide a smile which is worth its weight in gold. I don’t drink coffee or eat donuts but I still go in because my girls love a treat once a week and I’ll go still to support a great local business run by great people.

In today’s economy, one American dollar doesn’t go as far as it used to. Sure, fast food joints have their dollar menus and there are 99 Cent/Dollar stores here and there. However, the trusty donut shop will(at least in my lifetime, I hope) always have sweet, tasty, fried and/or glazed treats for less than a buck. *crossing fingers* What I’ve recently discovered at Kenny’s are their donut holes($ 1/dozen). DK’s just down the street charges 10 cents per hole. So, you can see that Kenny’s got a pretty sweet deal here(pun intended). Service is consistently friendly and their donuts, muffins, and bagels are pretty tasty. Anyway, Kenny’s Donuts is one of my local donut shops. I often stop in since it’s on my way to work in the morning(on the westbound side of Chapman, heading towards the 55 fwy). It’s pretty tiny and only open until 2 pm(I believe). It’s an easy place to miss so look out for a sandwich shop next door.
