Papa John’s Pizza

The FIRST and LAST TIME I will order from Papa Johns and if I could give it negative stars I would! We got the kings deal which comes with 3 medium 3 topping pizzas for $ 21! I thought what a great deal. I ordered it online and it came fairly on time. Once my family and I started eating it I noticed that it taste weird/​different. I thought it was ok because I’m used to ordering Domino’s Pizza but as we continued to eat it it still tasted bad and I asked a family member if they tasted it too. They agreed and said the samethings that it’s a different company then our usual. So we order their chicken bites as well and even those tasted weird. Fast forward to right now, it’s about 4:09 am in the morning and I’m up with FOOD POISONING! I will NEVER order another pizza from them again. BEWARE THAT IF YOU ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL GET FOOD POISONING!

Not the first time this place has screwed up, after waiting an hour and a half the food was cold, maybe not cold but not warm at all. The order was also wrong, we ordered BBQ chicken and got pepperoni and sausage. So of course we called it in to find out what happen, they said sorry and we’re nice about it and we even agreed to eat the one they brought «since we were at work and starving by that point» and they said they are next one be free…
BUT, here come the hoops you gotta jump through to get it, they asked for an email address so they can email the free order. I get it and it pretty much just a code number, it took about two weeks to get it and at our work we get pizza maybe once a week. But no worries, as long as they fix their mistake. So now we’re ready to use our code and get the pizza, I call to order and am told I can’t call in the order, I have the app on my phone, can I use it there? NO, I must order it online, but I work at a shop, we don’t have a computer accessible so that makes it tough, now we got to get one of the girls up front who work on the computers to do it for us.
Now rather then just popping in the code at the end of our order, we have to actually set up an account with them now. So now we’re entering all the info it’s asking for taking way to long and too much work to fix their original mistake. And then once were done with all that guess what? THE DAMN CODE DIDN’T EVEN WORK!!! Big failure, the code said it was not a valid code. So now I’m calling back and of course the store could do nothing to help, they gave me some tech support number were I couldn’t even talk to a living person, had to leave a message. Three days later at 7 am I missed a call from an unknown number and got a message about the code problem.
You know at this point I’m done, you wasted hours of my time trying to fix you’re mistake. I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to fix a poor quality pizza that took an hour and a half to make it to us.
We go to Zito’s now and get hooked up with the local shop discount and it’s water better tasting…

Not the first time I had a bad experience here. I accidentally ordered the wrong bread sticks online because I didn’t understand that «pl» meant plain. When I asked if she could swap them out she was very rude and said no. Not the first time the pizza wasn’t fresh as well.

Waited 45 min for an order I had called in for. Besides all the waiting it was wrong. If you aren’t clear on what the person ordered over the phone «ask» and repeat the order !

Don’t get me wrong I love Papa John’s but I gotta tell you this place SUCKS! Ordered delivery should have checked the pizza before the guy left. The pizza (im not kidding) looked like it had been left on the counter for two days. Dried up pepperonis, and the worst part is that we didn’t even ordered pepperoni. Some slices didn’t even have cheese and we paid for extra cheese! To make matters worse, we can’t get a refund because we paid CASH! They offered us another pizza but let’s be honest would you trust them making another pizza after we just called them and complained to them about their nasty old pizza they gave us?! Yeah I think not! This is the third order we get from them that sucks, the worse part is that this is the only place that delivers to us.

Worst location, unfriendly staff, poor management and worst customer service in food service I’ve ever had.

Convenient location and friendly staff. The pizza is always delicious and ready to go on time. The only downside to this franchise is that they’re usually two disgusting bums outside at all times!

This is my first time ordering from Papa John’s and I got to tell you the pizzas really good they do have a lot of bad reviews on here but I hope they make some improvements but so far so good the food was really good the service was fast I give them five stars!!!

joke… bought 2 pizzas with no sauce on it (i wanted sauce!). Very very minimal and i’ve had that same pizza plenty of times to know what it tastes like (chicken bbq). So called and was like hey we will show you this pizza to prove it no problem, but you guys definitely lacked on the sauce. He kept insisting if we wanted extra sauce to ask, we just wanted sauce period. Not extra! They made us pay for another pizza. The problem wasnt needing extra sauce. It was just having sauce on the pizza instead of eating a piece of cheese bread with chicken on it. Usually at other places if they mess up the pizza they send a free one out and we give you back the messed up one. But nope, not here. I even showed the delivery guy how this was a joke and how dry the pizza was and how there was literally no sauce. He had NO response just sat there quiet and his face turned red. He must have been embarrassed to work for a cheap company and the fact it turned out to be. They mess up and YOU pay so stay away… or else you will be eating dry pizza lol

I love papa johns pizza. This location (310 S Main St.) is lousy. I have ordered from here at least three times in the last 6 – 8 months and not once has my order been correct. This time, I specifically ordered 3 blue cheese sauce. I received one ranch sauce. This time I finally sent them away. When I called another location, they said that the above location was my delivery area, even though the 2^nd one I called was only .1 miles further away. I really hope that their corporate reads this stuff, but i doubt it. If corporate entities really read this stuff, you would think we would see changes.

Thought I’d try to save a few bucks by ordering from a major chain. The pizza sucked. The service sucked and I honestly feel a bit ripped off. Save your money and order a real pizza.

Their 5 topping pizza special is no good, they put very little of each ingredient. They sprinkle it in a the most SPARING manner.

The pizza is decent but the employees attitudes are terrible, and they look like they are high, hung over, or just out of prison. The person that picked up his pizza before me had to teach the cashier how to count change and told her that she needs to learn math before working the register.

even though the employees there were all rude and didn’t greeted me or other customers waking in. at least the pizza was good…

Listen… It’s Papa johns… It’s not like they are paid 20 bucks am hour. It’s good pizza for a good price. Enough said.

Ordered my pizza and wings online at 7:40 in the evening and got to the store at about 15 minutes later when the approximate time to pick then up was. Waited and waited and eventually received it all at 8:25. Pizza wasn’t great, wings were ok. I expected more and could have had better quality pizza for $ 5 from another location. (cough little Caesars cough) next time we’ll spend the same amount for an awesome meal from Zito’s right around the corner. Thanks for the poor experience. I guess you have to have a rainy day every once in a while to appreciate the sunny days!

I was being a total jerk and called for delivery 5 minutes before they closed. When the girl said they were closing right now, my inner princess was like, then why did you pick up the phone!!! *explodes with disappointment* but I was my sweet self and she accepted the order. Best employee of the year! I got the works pizza, thin crust. It was nice and crunchy. Belly satisfied! After finishing a fat slice, I decided to show my gratitude with this review but soon realized I forgot my Unilocal login on my comp, so yes papa john, I reset my pw just for you!

My order was an hour and 20 minutes late and the driver gave me an excuse that he’s the only one delivering well they said in the email someone would call me if there was anything to do with my order but they didn’t so I called them and said my order hasn’t arrived so she tells me she’ll call me back. Long story short my order shouldn’t have taken that long.

I was in the mood for pizza tonight so I decided to give this Papa John’s location a try. This was my first time ordering from this location. I ordered online and chose the special deal for one large pizza for $ 11 (even specialty pizzas were included).
I ordered at 7:06 pm and the pizza arrived at my door at 7:42 pm. Not too shabby.
When I opened up the box I was pleasantly surprised! I had not ordered a PJ pizza in years and don’t ever remember their «works» pizza looking like this. It had a lot of toppings, cheese, and it was nice and hot.
When I bit into it it was really good. Better than the other two chains I’ve ordered from in my neighborhood, though not as good as Buccaneers Pizza (they are tough to beat), which kinda makes sense since they are not a chain.
However, for being a large chain pizza place, the pizza was very good. I honestly don’t know if this was a fluke or if the owner or manager has changed something, but this experience was so good, I’m going to order again.
Definitely exceeded my expectations and I’m darn picky when it comes to my pizza.

The good: Good, affordable pizza chain in my neighborhood that serves it up right.
The bad: The «pan» style pizza. DO NOT ORDER! apparently I made this mistake once before but forgot and did it a second time because I had a coupon. it was even worse than previous. yuk! however, it was still better than the Little Caesars I got the following week — which is absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life (and I tend to think their pizza is OK. not anymore!)
Also, they allow online ordering which includes the payment by credit card, that is super convenient and has deals that pop up right on your screen you can choose from. The only other thing that really pisses me off is they do things like only giving one of the butter toppings for the pizza (it’s like this melted butter you can dip the crust into). And even worse, they always run out of blue cheese dressing for some reason. Bottom line: quit being cheap with the butter topping for your loyal customers, and if I’m paying an extra $ 6 for a dozen takeout wings (50c a wing, c’mon), I want some blue cheese dammit.
Tip, always call and see if they have a deal for a 3-​topping large with wings. They usually do (take out only) but it’s unadvertised. I saw it on the counter a while back and that’s how I found out about it.
