We picked up Heart shaped Pepperoni Pizzas for Valentine’s Day on Saturday. We had never been to Papa Murphy’s but glad we stopped in. The selections are endless and the service was exceptional. We were a little worried that our pizzas would be soggy before we baked them the next day but that was not the case. Beautiful, Crispy, Cheesy Goodness. The family loved the pizzas. We will be back

Order ahead or when you get there. Take it home and bake it. It is an awesome experience. Really good pizza!!! I have only had The Cowboy and it is the best! Tuesday is the best deal. Try it‼

Delicious, fresh toppings and friendly staff. My first time creating my own pizza and I loved the thin crust. It was light and didn’t taste greasy or heavy. There is plenty of parking and the prices are reasonable. I definitely will be back to make another custom pizza.

I finally tried this place last night. I went to pick up could pizza for our NYE party because I didn’t want to deal with the crowd at Costco. I ordered the house special and the Mediterranean chicken and followed the direction and put them in the oven. Came out they both were perfectly cooked! They were good and non greasy. And price is very reasonable. People work there are friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again.

For the 2nd time out of 3 times the Older Asian Male working(owner?) did not honor the coupon. Both times it was a $ 10 off gourmet coupon. We ordered via the phone both times with no issues on the coupon question. Both times we get $ 6 off and NOT $ 10. At this point it resembles fraud. I can’t be sure, obviously, but since there is no expiration on the coupon there shouldn’t be an issue. We love this chain’ pizza, but we will need to look for another location. Now, for food: excellent!!!

I was afraid of the ‘take and bake’ style pizza, since I like assurance the pizza will come out ok. I followed the instructions(even called the store once to make sure I was doing it right), and the pizza came out pretty much perfect! I’ve been there one other time with the same result. I’d recommend getting on their mailing list for coupons, even though it’s pretty reasonably priced to begin with. I’ve found the service here to be good as well. The employees were helpful on my first time in the store when I didn’t know what to order.

What a great place! Fresh ingredients, great prices, and short wait times. We used to eat Papa Murphy’s growing up in Idaho, so it’s nostalgic for us too. The staff and owners are super friendly but not over the top, which I like. The two times we have been there, it’s been relatively quiet, we got fresh made pizza in less than 10 min. Great value, highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Perhaps it’s the nostalgia of eating Papa Murphy’s growing up in Seattle(and even briefly working at one for a couple of months right after high school) or maybe it’s the novelty of only rarely getting to visit a Papa Murphy’s since there isn’t one within an hour of my home in San Diego, but I love it! I learned a couple of years ago that there were a few Papa Murphy’s in Southern California but the closest ones to San Diego were in either Temecula or Orange County. Since I have a Disney annual pass, I find myself near Anaheim about once a month and kept meaning to stop by and picking up a pizza on the way home. Usually, though, I was leaving Disneyland too late and the store would be closed. But this time, we left around 5:30 and it was perfect timing for dinner! This location is just 15 minutes away from Disneyland and only five or so minutes out of the way of the 5. Despite arriving around dinnertime on a Sunday night, the shop was empty. Perhaps not a good sign for the business but great for me as it meant no wait. My go-to Papa Murphy’s pizza has always been the Chicken Garlic with no onions. My boyfriend, however, is a vegetarian so I subbed the chicken with mushrooms on half of the pizza. I upgraded to a family size for $ 2 more and added an order of cheesy bread. Plus, I joined their text club and immediately received an offer for a free smores dessert pizza and 2-liter soda. All together, my order came to $ 20. Not a bad deal for three«pizzas» and a soda! The girls working at the shop were super nice and accommodating. The girl who took my order made sure to understand that she got it correct and even made the pizza herself. Another girl noticed that we were short a smores pizza from the case and made us a fresh smores in the back. The chicken garlic pizza was just as amazing as I remembered it being. I love the flavorful garlic sauce and could happily eat a slice of this pizza everyday! The chicken, cheese and tomatoes combine perfectly and I much prefer this pizza to similar pizzas at Domino’s or other pizza shops. It’s been years since I’ve tried any other pizza here but I can definitely vouch for the deliciousness of the chicken garlic pizza! I’ve also always loved the cheesy bread and it too lived up to my expectations. My boyfriend seemed to enjoy it too as he ate almost half of it(along with three of his four slices of pizza) at dinner. The smores pizza is quite good too and I take it up a notch by sprinkling cinnamon and sugar along the crust. I still have a slice of pizza and a piece of cheesy bread leftover for lunch today and I’m both looking forward to eating it and sad that it will be my last slice for awhile. I’ll continue to hope that a Papa Murphy’s opens in San Diego but until then, I’ll have to satisfy my cravings on a post-Disney visit.

I hate to be the first to give them less than 4 stars, but I really did not find the pizza to be overly amazing, but rather«A-OK» as the three star rating states. After a day at Disneyland, my friend decided that she wanted to get a pizza to-go as we do not have a Papa Murphy’s in San Diego and this location is only 10 minutes down the road from the park. She grew up eating this pizza and sometimes craves it. I decided to go ahead and get one as well as I had never tried it before. I was unfamiliar with the ‘take and bake’ concept and I am still not sure how I feel about it. I think that $ 12 for a medium pizza is a bit pricey when I have to bake it myself, but I will give it to them that the crust turns out quite tasty and the ingredients are fresh. I went with the traditional pizza sauce, chicken and green bell peppers. It was definitely good and I’d eat it again, but I do not think I’d go out of my way for it. I joined their text club and with the purchase of a pizza, I received a free s’mores pizza and 2-liter drink on the house. The s’mores pizza was definitely the highlight for me. Once baked, the chocolate was oozing and the marshmallows a perfect golden brown. It would definitely be worth the add on without the freebie. The girl working was really friendly and made our visit enjoyable while we waited for our pizzas to be made.

I haven’t had Papa Murpheys for 5 years and I was excited to find that they finally opened one around here. Finally was able to check it out tonight. Customer Service(5⁄5): Everyone working there was so pleasant. They were patient with us while we took forever to order. We ended up ordering a large pizza and a salad and asked for extra sauces which they were more than happy to give. My friend was debating back and forth if she should get the s’more dessert pizza and one of the gentlemen working, who I assume is the owner, offered to give it to us at a discounted price of $ 2. He didn’t have to and that was sweet of him. Also it was an offer we couldn’t resist! Pizza(5⁄5): Papa Murpheys is my go-to number one choice over papa johns. Also they definitely load up on the toppings. Bread is not too crispy or too soft but you can change it up based on the baking time. You control how soft or crispy you want the bread. And baking only takes 10 minutes! Tuesday’s are 10 dollar pizza day!!! Everyone should check it out!

I went in and was greeted by a smile and can I help you! Then he asked I had ever been there I explained no but saw it on Unilocal,he made sure that I knew I had to take it home to bake it I said yes I knew that. He asked me what I want so I ordered a make it your own up to 5 items. He then told me that every Tuesday that any large pizza is only $ 10.00 and that I should come back on a Tuesday. I explained that I live in Costa Mesa and that I would come when I am in Orange. I took my pizza home which has written cooking direction and followed them it was wonderful lots of cheese just the right amount of sauce crispy crust. I loved it. I will go back on a Tuesday whether I will be in Orange or not. Excelent

This PM happens to be placed right near one of the local gym’s…how can you miss it! We were strolling by and they looked to be having a grand opening that weekend. The door was however open and they were glad to let us come in and order even though they were not open yet! Was very unfamiliar with this concept of «Take and Bake». We built our Pizza’s and grabbed a salad togo! The owner was very cordial and kind. Wish more companies took after this kind of customer service and authenticity! Had a meat lovers pizza with gluten-free thin crust! I was quite surprised by the flavor and depth this pizza had. Ingredients were fresh and the crust was actually quite flavorful as well and didn’t taste like the old-school, first-gen GF crust that tasted like a recycled cardboard box! 5-Star for all-around quality, cleanliness, customer service and product satisfaction! Not a bad way to-go either if you are running late for work or have to make a for a quick dinner for the family! Can be quite healthy as well if you pick the right ingredients!

Papa Murphy’s was one of my favorite chain pizza restaurants growing up, and this pretty much hasn’t changed. This is the closest one to where I live and it’s still a 20m drive but totally worth it. Pizza’s still really solid and the people who own and work here, are super nice. Go on Tuesdays and it’s $ 10 Tuesdays! If you’ve never tried a take-n-bake pizza joint, this is it! Pizza is guaranteed to be hot because it’s coming out of your own oven. And I always bring it home and add my own ingredients to the pizza to beef it up-which is what I totally recommend.

It’s not gourmet pizza, but it’s a top notch pie. Now I can see the skepticism in your eyes; a bake your own seems like a lot of work. Well lazy bones it’s not. They also solved the age old dilemma of «Is this too much pizza?» by pricing it between perfect and«wow I think I can get one more». This place is small, perfect for this style of pizzeria. The menu has more options then I would ever try so even your vegan, gluten free, hipster friends are accommodated. Parking can be adventurous depending on the time, thanks to a famous burger joint they share the lot with. Baking instructions are simple and if you know your oven perfecting the crust is easier then loosening your belt to make room for your 6th piece. I made the mistake of also getting the cinnamon bread and bread sticks one time. Mistake you say? More like a bad idea because the B sticks were gone before the pizza was done and the C sticks barely made it through the night. Yes my friend, they were tasty indeed. I had to eat 3 Tums to get through the night but well worth it and I would do it all over again. Probably next week. Reheated in the oven the next day was just as much a win as the night before, just with a little more crunch. Pizza thin crust half cheese half pep — 5 star Bread sticks — 4 Star Cinnamon Sticks — 4 star

So yum! I wanted some salty food today so I went over to check this place out. I was not familiar with this take-n-bake pizzeria but I’m glad I tried it. The workers were friendly and attentive. I ordered a thin crust Cowboy pizza. After 13 mins baked, the pizza looked and smelled so good. The thin crust was crispy but not dry. And I loved their cheese. Delicious! I’d definitely try it again.

Papa Murphy’s must be doing really well, I have now run into 3 new locations in the last few months. Good for them, well deserved. The staff here was great, store super clean and I love watching my pizza be made to order, wrapped up and I have a perfect dinner for later. The stuffed pizza is insane! Basically a pizza on top of a pizza, I think it mentioned over 4lbs of toppings?!! We had a large one of those, between the 3 of us there was still leftovers and we were full for the rest of the night. Great value, excellent taste, love coming here.

I used to live in Nor Cal and ate Papa Murphy’s take ‘n Bake on the regular so when I saw that one was opening up nearby, I got my hungry butt over there right away! I love me some Papa Murphy’s. The pizza is quality stuff at half the cost of what you’d pay at any other pizzeria. They also coupon bomb the local neighborhood so there’s many a deal to be had. I especially like their white sauce, garlic, spinach varieties and god-damn their thin crust is off the hook! Be warned that this place is already crazy popular, call ahead to place an order to avoid a wait. Woo-hoo Welcome to Orange Papa Murphy!!!

I am so so glad a Papa Murphy’s opened up pretty close to my house! We picked up three pizzas for super bowl and they were a big hit. We got the Cowboy pizza, a veggie delight and Papa’s Perfect which is half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. It took them about 10 minutes to put together our pizzas and then each one took about 15 minutes to bake at home. They do encourage you to bake each pizza one at a time so depending on how many pizzas you have, it might take a while. The pizzas are similar to any other pizza place but is a little cheaper(especially if you have coupons and they seem to have a lot of coupons you can use). You can call in your order so you don’t have to wait for them to assemble it. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their pizzas!

A friend in Colorado told me that Papa Murphy’s is great, so yesterday I decided to give it a try. I went on a weekend around 2:00pm, and they were busy. Apparently, a lot of people like this place. I ordered a large vegetarian stuffed pizza and they quickly made it and we were out of there in about 7 minutes. Everyone was very nice — excellent service. When we got home, the directions told us exactly what to do — preheat the oven to 375, and bake about 15 minutes(actual time depends — the sheet tells you exactly what to do). The pizza was excellent. Very flavorful all the way to the crust(which was also very good). Is it better than other pizza places around here? The quality is much better! Yes, definitely.(Little Caesars $ 5 pizza can’t be that good for five dollars. Think about it!). Same goes for papa john’s, and so forth.
