Home town favorite. As a child we used to swim in the fountain after our chocolate sodas from Watson’s. I Still walk my son to town to run along the grass and toss a penny in the fountain to make a wish. The crowd in town has changed so much. not as many familiar faces as there once was. Newer people in town who are not as friendly. still enjoy bumping into other locals who were born and raised in town. The circle will always be a meeting place for us old local children.

Love having this place so close to home. We love walking here on a regular basis. My daughter will have me broke in no time with all the pennies she throws in the fountain. Great place to meet up with friends and relax.

I stay away on the big holidays, since the Circle can get really crowded, but it is a nice little park in the heart of the Old Town. They have plenty of benches and grass, and there are always kids running around the fountain. During Christmas, they put up a bid tree, but the rest of the year it is a nice little respite in the center(literally) of Old Town.

Q&D: This is quite simply the Heart of the City of Orange. Long & Old: As a new resident of Orange, I have to say one of my favorite places is the fountain at the center of Plaza Square Park. The Plaza is the hub of the city and is quite simply the best downtown of any«Small Town» city I’ve been to. If you ever end up in Orange, it will be hard to miss this park since it is directly in the center of the traffic circle. People hang out and drink their coffee, eat ice cream, sit on a bench and read, and I even saw a family playing banjos today!(Can you say home schooled?) It’s hard not to stand in the middle of Plaza Square Park, look around, and think that the city feels like Main Street USA. It’s very cool! See Ya Later, Sam
