Unilocal challenge 2016 *updated* This is one of the busier Starbucks in the Orange area and seems to be really under staffed. There is always a line. On more than one occasion I have been displeased in one way or another. I understand it is all about numbers but 3 staff in a high volume store with a Clover machine is not enough, especially on a weekend with a line that never ends. Placed a mobile order while shopping, with the intent of walking over to grab and go. After arriving at a busy Starbucks I go to the hand off counter with no akowledgement. Okay they are busy. But a «Hello…welcome to Starbucks«is always appreciated. My drink is not done. I wait, and wait about 10 minutes and notice no Venti cups in the line up. I finally ask about my order. She looks and nothing. She looks in the receipts and there it is. Zero apologies. Blamed it on a ticket/sticker never printing out. But my receipt printed out. None of the in house drinks had those fancy stickers anyway, nor did the other mobile that sat there the 20 minutes I was there. I assumed they would of noticed I’ve been standing around for a while. If My drinks were not already prepaid I would of left. Condiment bar was full of empty carafes and a full trash can. Broken straws that you don’t know are broken till you start sucking. Even though its further away I will visit the Bux on Lincoln and Tustin where staff is abundant. way too many chances here.

Management here is terrible. Today witnessed the manager demand a handicapped lady in a wheelchair(with one leg) to leave the store after she requested use of a wheelchair-friendly table(engraved with a wheelchair symbol). Apparently the location has had problems with this individual in the past. Regardless, I was extremely disturbed by Starbucks behavior and severe act of discrimination, as the dispute escalated and multiple people(including other customers) were involved. All that said, the remaining staff here are so super nice and friendly.

I really like it here. Staff is polite and even some customers like Don are sweet. This starbucks always allows Red Cross to run their blood drives and they treat Red cross staff great. Im one of the staff for Red cross. Great place

I was disappointed in the drink that I ordered, and Angel changed my experience for the better! He is such a friendly and kind employee who really goes that extra mile for his customers. My tea was delicious, and because of him, this will now be my new Starbucks to go to! Thank you Angel, and keep up the amazing customer service, it doesn’t go unnoticed!

This barista is the sweetest girl ever! She took our orders even though she was busy cleaning up before closing tonight. I think her name is Laura.

Yum! This is my usual starbucks stop! Rob makes bomb drinks in the evenings but he’s hard to find. Morning staff is very warm and friendly. Barista drinks are never disappointing. Some starbucks are hit or miss but I’m always satisfied at this location.

I love STARBUCKS! And when there are friendly people there then like omg, my daughter loves coming in this location with me. I was there tonight the barista Angie, who is awesome helped my confused self make up my mind haha and the cool baristo were so nice and welcoming I didn’t want to leave. Especially since the guy making drinks kept joking with my daughter so I know she didn’t want to leave. All in all, best STARBUCKS around! Thanks night crew on Mondays for making my week worth living.

I need to stop at this Starbucks more often. The service is excellent. I came for a hot tea, and Mary asked if I wanted honey. I usually have to ask when I want honey. Mary put the honey in the cup and added some hot water before adding the tea bag. I appreciate the extra service. It was a cheerful environment. All the baristas were smiling and having a good time. They acted like they were happy to be working there.

Great friendly service. I love the Veranda blonde roast. Love the poor overs too. This location is always efficient no matter how long the line is. It is on the smaller side so not the best seating.

I used to go to this location in the mornings. It’s changed. They’ve redecorated and made it less friendly a la the«Neo Starbucks» decorating theme. I guess they needed to do this to justify charging even more for their drinks. The reason this Starbucks gets a two star rather than a higher rating isn’t because of the barristas or the silly new décor, it’s because this Starbucks — like several others i’ve tried — never seems to have COFFEE brewed. In a COFFEE shop! What’s up with that? I asked for a dark brew, and the very cheerful fellow behind the counter said it was«available for pour-over only.» I asked for the Pike Place(which I don’t particularly care for; it tastes like they burn the beans). They said it wasn’t ready. I had to get a «blonde» which is Starbuck-ese for«warm dirty water that doesn’t taste like coffee.» While having a nice place for customers is important, and having helpful employees is also a plus … not having coffee is kinda missing the point if you’re trying to make money selling coffee.

Tim was fantastic! I was having issues with my app and did not have my wallet with me and he was very patient and kind while I tried to get my app to work so that I could pay. Amazing customer service!

Standard Starbucks with nice baristas. Not much to say right? Did they greet me when I walked up to the cashier? Check(and they smiled too). Did they write my name down correctly? Check(but my name isn’t a tough one). Did they make my drink(grande green tea latte unsweetened with soy) the way it should be made? Check. Not sure what everyone is complaining about since my experience wasn’t as awful as others have mentioned in previous comments. Again, standard Starbucks that I can’t complain about and this location helped alleviate my craving for a quick green tea latte.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks location for a while now. They recently remodeled it, and it looks & feels even better than it did before. The baristas I’ve interacted with here are courteous and helpful, answering my questions about how to customize my drink. My food and drinks taste good, and I don’t have to wait long for my orders. I’ve recently begun using the mobile order & pay feature, and it works well here so far.

NEWLYREFURBISHED It looks great, except im a little disappointed with the seating. They took out the comfy benches, and replaced them with tables. They also have a mini bar you can sit at where the drinks come out, i like it. I now feel like this starbucks stands up to all the others. Looks way cleaner as well!!!

I work in one of the most highly rated customer service companies. But even if I didn’t I would still be appalled as to what I heard and experienced in going to this Starbucks. I was standing behind a woman who works at Ganahl Lumber which is just down the street. She was obviously a regular because the conversation between Chelsea, the cashier and her was very specific. She had already been helped and I stood there patiently listening about employees getting wrote up and how the manager only scheduled someone for two hours. It was obvious that I needed to be rung up since I had a gift card in my hand from the display at the register that I was purchasing, ironically, for my boss’s birthday. I finally moved next to the other woman so she knew she was wasting my time too. At this point she quit munching on her purchase and walked out. I said to Chelsea, who had a name tag that said«Rob», «Did you seriously make me wait here so that I could listen to you talk about your boss and be completely unprofessional?» Here’s a list of excuses and bribes I heard… Well, I was helping her. Would you like a drink? I’m sorry(she did say that twice but not at first, bad service!) My boss lets me wear a name tag that says Rob because we have a lot of drug addicts that come in here but I told you my real name.(What???) I think you get the picture. I’ll be contacting corporate in the morning. I’m sure they’ll be thrilled to hear about the other employee who was just leaning against the wall. And no, I did not want a free drink after that.

Why are there so many young teenagers in the Starbucks on a school day, it appears that it’s a regular thing for them. It’s 855am don’t they hav class first off they don’t need coffe at that age further Starbucks should not serve them if it causes them to be late to class. It only teaches that they can do what they want. Good job Starbucks I will say tho. I Ike the service and friendly staff. That’s a 5*

I had two freebies to use that were expiring soon. I’m so forgetful but luckily the Starbucks app on my phone reminded me. What to do? What to use them on? Hmm… I was working from home so I decided to run out for a coffee break and maybe a cookie as a treat. Upon arriving, I noticed the offers had actually expired the day prior however this Starbucks was still good about honoring them. I decided to try the new chestnut praline latte and get a pumpkin loaf. Staff was great and even made my drink extra hot like I asked them. The drink itself was amazing and it’s actually my new favorite holiday drink. I always get it before work, during work, or whenever. I’m totally addicted. No more PSLs or any other holiday drinks for me. Really hope they keep this one around. Staff was friendly, quickly, and amazing.

It’s pretty standard Starbucks fare, with all the typical menu items and décor. But even for a Starbucks, this place is slow. Like glacial. And it’s always got a grimy feeling. It is certainly a high-traffic area, and seems to be perpetually short-staffed. But come on… I waited 15 mins for an Americano. It could be better.

This one is close to home, so I frequent it quote a bit & it’s always pretty busy but they’re usually fairly quick with their drinks. I do have one gripe, they don’t put your name on the cup! They just yell out the drink and if you miss it well then you’re SOL and don’t bother asking the barista what it is because you’ll get a shoulder shrug, awesome!
