We had the potato tacos(yummy) and the chile relleno(the egg was not very fresh tasting) with a cheese enchilada(good). I think their salsa could use some improvement and the restaurant is not too clean, but I’d go again since it’s close by.

The Taco Time This is one of the closest taco joints to my work so every once in a while I get lunch here or at the sister restaurants(Kabob and Italian Joints) all three share the same conjoined space nestled in a strip mall with a tattoo parlor, a sushi spot and a doughnut shop. A typical order at the counter taqueria. with a couple of non typical sisters. Taco Time is a hit and miss deal for me. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, very inconsistent. The flavors of the meats seem to vary each time I come here. So I don’t come often unless a lunch mate forces it on me. I didn’t take pics the last time I came but it wasn’t much different from this. Make sure to get the red sauce as the dry meats are screaming for some love and the red sauce has a little kick. Dry dry dry meat They give you some chips and salsa while waiting. Got a taco plate with rice n beans. Asada was way overcooked and lacking spice as was the dry pollo. The pastor was all right. They have breakfast and dinners but I’ve only had meh tacos at lunch. With many more options around I pass on TTT and so should you.

Came in an hour before it closed and there was no rush at all. All the food was made to ordered and super delicious. Had the green enchiladas, they were packed with chicken and the sauce was tasty! The chicken taquitos were cut in half and cooked perfectly, not greasy or mushy. Rice and beans tasted homemade. The salsa for the chips was so good we bought some to take home. Perfect place to eat if u miss your Mexican style hole in the wall food from Santa Ana!

I really like ordering from this place I work at the local hospital and we order from Taco Time a lot all of us are always pleased with the food that we get from them and once they did make a mistake when we called them they they were more than happy to fix it and drive back to the hospital and we redeliver the food they forget, that shows a lot and we do appreciate it. Food is always great!

Friday a couple of coworkers and I figure we’ll try this joint. We all wish we hadn’t. We called in an order. My coworker, I’ll call her ‘Stacy’, places the order. My coworker, I’ll call him ‘Dom’ goes to pick it up. Me, I sit and wait anxiously. Dom gets there and says he’s there to pick up an order. The guy behind the counter asks for a name on the order. Seeing as it’s only the 3 of us eating, Dom drops all 3 names. Each time he’s shot down. The problem is they never asked for a name. So my coworker tells them the what the order was and the guy behind the counter isn’t happy he has to check all of carry out orders. All THREE of them! Fast forward to the food… I ordered a potato, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. For some reason they decided to add bacon… not the best looking bacon either. I wish I could tell you about the chips and guacamole we ordered. I wish I could but I can’t. Didn’t get to try them. They didn’t put it in our bag.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered the 3 taco plate with carne asada and chicken meat options. Both meats flavored well. Red hot sauce was also delicious. The two sides of beans and rice were a little small but overall the portion was more than enough. Tonight they also had a yummy fresh squeezed jug of pineapple juice. So refreshing! Service was quick. I’ll be back.

Good food. Easy on the wallet and the stomach. Weird ambiance but the cook and cashier were very nice. My family grabs food to-go once a week from this place. I like the chicken enchilada because it is mellowly flavored and satisfying.

Tried all 4 tacos meats and they were very good. I like my cilantro fresh on the side but they mike it in during cooking with some onions. I have never done that before but it didn’t change the fact that the tacos were really good. I travel a lot and I am very glad I stopped by this place. There were plenty of other things to choose from but in a taco guy and I was not disappointed.

I had 2 asada tacos, 2 pollo tacos and one of lengua. All the tacos were pretty bland. The only good thing was the chicken but other than that really no flavor to the tacos. No lemon on the side or even extra salsa was given or offered. The salsa they added was like a tea spoon if that. I tried this spot even though some co workers and my brother warned me. I think I would have been more satisfied with a hot dog from 7 eleven across the street than these tacos. First and last time eating at this joint. No thanks!

This place is good for a quick and inexpensive dinner. I bought dinner to-go my for my parents and we got a couple burritos and a few carnitas tacos. They were pretty good. The salsa was very spicy for my liking haha, but i’m sure people who love spicy salsa will enjoy it! The chips that I also ordered with my meal were«a-ok» Will come back to try something else from their menu.

Very Good Fish Tacos. Ordered Fish Taco Plate to go. Took it back to the hotel I was staying at since the atmosphere was not happening for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty these little fish tacos were. Lots of fish that was well prepared. Would have liked more of the mayo sauce for the tacos and more salsa for the rice and bean. Overall, a good value for about $ 8.

My favirite thing about The Taco Time is that they have the type of meats that you wouldn’t normally find at other taco spots. These are lengua, tripa and buche. Not only that, the food is really good and authentic. I can’t wait to go back.

One star because they delivered, but this would be me 3rd and last time here. The meat didn’t seem to be that fresh, and my orders always take longer than I expect(and I judge pretty lenient on that working in the food industry myself). Also the split restaurant gives it a strange vibe. Next time Ill take myself to Taqueria de Anda.

Love going to this place. The owner is a sweetheart and is always friendly! I always order tacos and am never disappointed! The burritos are meaty and include salsa, rice, and beans. I think are well under priced at $ 4.99! I’ve tried tacos & burritos at other” authentic” Mexican spots and they just don’t compare! As a matter of fact. I think it’s «taco time» now!

So I was excited to find another taco joint while I was driving around and lo and behold it was this one… Taco Time… seriously these guys must be about the tacos I am thinking. Great they have menus outside so I grab one. Almost everything is a combo… then I find the taco’s out of a combo… $ 1.25 ea… So I got the usual, 1 asada, 1 al pastor, and 1 pollo. So the pastor didn’t have the pineapple tang or onions but had a nice flavor to it. The chicken was good. The asada was bleh to say the least. The red sauce was a bit creamier than I have had in a while but it was also a bit spicy. I liked that a bunch. And it really improved the asada. I put a bit on the pastor and chicken as well just to see how the flavors comingled. The pastor and chicken was tasty with the red sauce as well… and it helped to get a lil bit more spice in them as well. For another $ 2 you can get a combo plate with a serving of rice and beans. If you get all asada they will does in a free sm fountain drink. Pro Tip: They deliver with a $ 15.00 min order and a $ 1.50 delivery charge. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall this place seemed pretty average at best…
