I waited to be seated for about 5 minutes and was ignored. It wasn’t busy at all. I specifically for the soup of the day. The menu on Unilocal said Thursday was chicken tortilla but it was cream of mushroom. I ordered the tuna wrap with a salad. It was ok. For a place that claims to serve farm fresh, no additive foods I expected more of a mixed greens, healthy salad. It was iceberg with two slices of tomato on top. It’s a really cute place with a great concept but needs some fine tuning.

Is there a GOOD cup of coffee anywhere in Orangeburg? YES! HERE! I’ve been working in Orangeburg all week(it’s Thursday afternoon), and I’m having my first cup of good coffee this week. Been frustrated by hotel and McD’s coffee all week, and there is no Starbucks in town. WHEW! Thanks to Unilocal I found this place.

In the middle of a farmers market and a local craft store is this unique little café which serves homemade wraps, pitas, cookies, cakes etc, and a wine tasting booth. The environment is classy, yet rugged enough to keep the country charm. The coffee is first rate and the South Carolina pride is everywhere. So, when stopping in Orangeburgh SC. don’t forget to stop by for a smoothie, ice cream, or pie and then shop the built in farmers market and craft store. I bet you will remember your visit to the Cupside Down Café.

I wish they would improve operations. I appreciate what they are trying to do but the service is so slow.

Great coffee and nice staff, everyone is friendly and welcoming, located near the law enforcement complex, a short commute from my house.

Probably the best place for fresh food in orangeburg. Only downside is that when I have gone during off peak hours, I was less than impressed with the quality of the food. LOVE this place though, and getting better with each addition.

Neat atmosphere, clean interesting variety of selection both as a store and café. The bottom line, 5 star eatery, I had the gladiator and strawberry lemonade cake. It was filling artfully prepared and this is a meal I will revisit again next year! We were served by Ashley, she was perfect in service and attention. Great place to stop by trust me do not miss it!

Awesome food, I had the Di Napoli with hummus and pita chips and the missus had the Milano with side salad. Very nice atmosphere and quiet place for lunch. Even with the place almost full! Would recommend this place for anyone in the road and their dessert selection looks very yummy, hard to decide which we will be taking with us back on the road.

Homemade food, vegetarian options, and dog friendly patio. Try the basil mayonnaise! We ate here for lunch while traveling. The service was excellent and so friendly, and our server brought out a bowl of water for our dogs. I ordered the Five Rivers wrap and my husband got The Boss sandwich — they were both very good. They came with great hummus too. Actually, my favorite thing was the basil mayonaise. I even dipped the pita chips in it… We got yummy homemade cookies for dessert too. This is a great place to stop in Orangeburg.

A diamond in the rough. Yummy, fresh and delicious sandwiches and desserts. The breads were scrumptious. The service was great. We took our food to go and while it was being prepared we picked up some wonderful olive oil. I also browsed the thrift shop next store and bought a beautiful, hand-crafted necklace.

Just a few miles from the interstate an amazing meal is waiting for you. Please do yourself the favor and drive right past the chains and find yourself here. We all had amazing soup, salads and sandwiches. And the coffee and desserts are amazing. Great service too.

The panini make for a great lunch and you have your choice of salad, homemade soup or chips. The Mona Lisa was my choice and I chose well! The cakes were very tasty too! There is an antique market attached.

Great place, really friendly people and fresh food. You get the feeling all produce and other food is locally sourced. Also nice selection of sauces and spices from around the state. Had to get 4 – 5 hot sauces and SCBBQ sauce too!

SOHAPPY this place opened up in the Burg. Impressed with the freshness of the vegetables and love the hummus. Pita chips are addictive. No allergic reactions. Ordered the vegan hummus wrap each time for 2 visits thus far. My other companions have eaten the chicken salad wrap, chicken salad salad, roast beef wrap and bratwurst beer chili. Companions’ feedback: roast beef — couldn’t taste the horseradish and chili is a little too salty. Enjoyed the chicken salad and wouldn’t hesitate ordering a 2nd time next visit. Note: The chicken comes from the owner’s farm. Prices are very affordable and portions are moderate to large. The owner is a lacto ovo vegetarian. Many veggie dishes and they are marked on the menu. Seating is varied. Bar stools available at counter, 4 person tables, 1 long table that can seat 12 – 16(depending on size and elbow room desired), another counter with seats facing the market with the wi-fi name and password written on a small chalkboard. There is also booth seating. The service is beyond excellent. Clean bathrooms(go to the Five Rivers Market next door and walk to the furniture corner). Pay at the cash register. They use One Square so if you already have an account(many places in Bay Area use this program), a receipt is emailed or texted to you. There is a frequent visitor reward program(automatically tracked via One Square). The owner makes it a point to use local, sustainable ingredients. All her desserts contain no preservatives. Thank you Unilocal!Wouldn’t have found this place otherwise.
