I agree with all my fellow Unilocalers. This place is a winner! The prices are a bit high but I felt the quality of the dishes deserved it. We went for breakfast and had the sausage scramble and chicken fried steak and both dishes were awesome. I don’t know(besides Rosemary) what Yvonne puts in her hash brown but they were ‘hands down’ the best I have ever had. The service was excellent as everyone was extremely friendly and efficient. It’s a small establishment that’s very popular so be patient. It was nice that they called us on the phone when our table was available The only negative was the rumbling sound that was awful if you sat by the window. Fortunately we were able to move to another table or it would of ruined the whole meal. Hopefully they can resolve that issue.

This place is the best place to get breakfast in oregon city. They make a killer cup of coffee as well. I wish they were open later though, because I would eat there every day.

This place has bomb food and incredible service. Our waiter Chris was outstanding! Great food, Benedict dishes were perfect! Pancakes were great. Biscuits and gravy 5 outta 5, peppery but not over. Great Coffee too. There is a wait and it’s worth it! Best breakfast in the city.

Great place for breakfast! Went with 4 people on a Sunday. They took our name and cell phone number so we could stroll around OC. Many delightful stores wish more were open on Sunday. Great breakfast and attentive service. Minus one star bc ac doesn’t work on weekends.

Love this place! Amazing food, great prices, delicious coffee! So excited we found a local breakfast spot that has locally sourced ingredients and does it right! Enjoyed an almond latte with the pesto Benedict. So good! The Rosemary hash browns were a fun, unique and tasty treat. We will make this a regular stop for sure!

Excellent service. Excellent florentine(classic). Gf options. FIrst impressions are: a very allergen-friendly, portland-esque-food-savvy type place but without any of the attitude you can come across in portland restaurants. The only downside is that there is a lack of room to wait for a table. Not the kind of place you want to go with parties of more than 6IMO. They did offer to take a phone # and call when they had a table– that bumps my review up ½ a star for that type of service. My Mom and I just went to my car and they called not more than 10 mins later. 4.5÷5

Visited some friends in Portland and by far the best breakfast spot we went to! Such a clean and peaceful spot. The staff is beyond friendly and our waiter was sooo patient and helpful. Along with the fantastic service came amazing food! It comes out fairly quick and the taste is sensational, can definitely tell that the chefs love their job and put effort into it. Loved it; will definitely return the next time I’m in town.

I have been visiting Yvonne’s since a few months after they opened. The place is fantastic. What keeps me coming back regularly is the combination of the amazing staff, generous owner and amazing food. Yvonne has done well to instill in her staff a culture of cheerfulness even amidst the very busy rush times. Yvonne herself is in the kitchen cooking the tremendous breakfast dishes. Last time I was in, they even mentioned that they wil be introducing a lunch menu soon! Definitely a place that will be an OC staple for a long time.

We love this little breakfast joint! The staff is always so kind and helpful, the food is exceptional(I always order the Classic Florentine), the only downside is the space is a bit small and there are only 2 high chairs, so you usually have to wait if you have a small family… and their doors open at 8am(our kids are awake at 5:30 people!) Seriously though, we really appreciate this spot since there aren’t many good, unique breakfast choices at all near West Linn.

Breakfast with dad. Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the Classic Benny. Dad had the Working Man’s breakfast which comes with a pancake, two eggs(he had perfectly cooked poached eggs), nice thick slice of tasty ham that isn’t too salty, and a nice selection of very fresh fruit. The poached eggs in both of our breakfasts were cooked perfectly. I don’t normally like hashbrowns, but they add rosemary to them and they were great! They also had dill in the hollandaise sauce on my benny which really made the sauce taste wonderful. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. I would give them five stars, but I would have liked a thicker slice of ham on the benny and the hot chocolate I ordered wasn’t very sweet and no refills for $ 3.25. Most places I go to will give you one refill for that price. Also, though the server was great, it did take about 30 minutes to get our food even though there were no more than four other tables while we were there early on a Thursday morning. We were the first ones there when they opened at 7AM. Didn’t leave until 8:10, so it took longer than we thought it should. Luckily, we weren’t in a big hurry. So if you find yourself in Oregon City and searching for a breakfast place, I highly recommend Yvonne’s, just make sure you have plenty of time to be patient.

If food is one of your top joys in life + you love breakfast + happen to find yourself in Oregon City, then don’t miss out on Yvonne’s. Yvonne’s is my favorite place to go for breakfast in Oregon City — hands down! The staff is always friendly and super attentive. The food is always amazing and is clearly made with lots of love. I always order the Cheesy Bacon Benny and the Hubby’s go-to is the Vegetarians Rejoice Scramble. The rosemary hashbrowns are a must! The food always takes a little bit of time… as good quality food should! Bring good company, a good book or the morning paper and you won’t mind the wait. As a smaller restaurant, tables can fill up fast during peak breakfast/brunch times. The house coffee is wonderful in and of itself and coffee afficinados won’t be disappointed with this simple delight. If you’re feeling festive… the mimosas won’t disappoint.

What a great surprise to have a nice fresh breakfast in the middle of the week in the OC. The service was perfect water and coffee never stopped. Wait time was perfect long enough that my guest and I could visit yet not loose on ounce waiting for food. Plus I ordered toast and she suggested the biscuit hot from the oven(a great choice) Thank you for a great start to my day.

Mara and I stopped for breakfast. We hit this window about 1045 where we got seated right away. After that the crowd really started to build but these folks are great at service and worked through the tables. Really wish they could expand. Try the hand breaded CFS the porcini mushroom gravy is original and scrumptious. WEWILLBEBACK!!!

Wow. Just wow. Best gravy I’ve ever had! I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy, eggs, and rosemary hashbrowns, and I happily ate every bit. I had to go back to work afterwards, so I didn’t get to try the drink menu. I will definitely be back! The staff were friendly and efficient as well.

I’ve reach a new level of happiness with Yvonne’s. I went with the same friend again 2 days before christmas and was blown away. I’ll start with the 1 negative because it’s really not bad at all. We felt like it was a little slow getting the food, however I fully think it was a normal amount of time considering the entire resturant was filled(every seat). And we had some amazing servers checking in on us and drinks who were friendly and working to make it a good experience. Other than that the service and food remains amazing and I’ll continue to be a semi regular customer(would be regular if I lived closer) I also tried something new, the eggnog french toast and a peppermint latte. Both were simply delicious. Food done right. And I had to snag some of my friends rosemary hashbrowns and gravy because I still think I could live off the two of those.

Had a great experience for breakfast today! I can’t believe it’s been open over a year and we hadn’t tried Yvonne’s for breakfast. Came early(9:30am) and had no wait to get seated. Had water and coffee within 30 seconds and the server walked us through the menu since it was our first visit. Everything was tasty! Prices a little high if you add onto your meal but it was worth it. Recommend the Rosemary hash-browns and salted caramel pancake.

The problem isn’t that they have too few tables, they have too many. While our first visit was a true delight, today’s visit was a true nightmare. I was a little apprehensive having to wait 10 minutes to get a table but I was really eager to try the chicken fried steak that had received such rave reviews. Once we were seated, the server brought out a couple of small pieces of coffee cake and it was pretty good. We placed our order soon after that and after having read a recent review on how long it took, I started the timer on my cel phone, hoping to refute their observation with a much more favorable one. Sadly, we waited almost as long as that reviewer did — my phone showed slightly over 47 minutes to get our food after we ordered. While I understand that good food is cooked to order and it takes time to get it right, sadly what we were served wasn’t «right». I told our server about the problem and sent back over half of the inedible, overcooked, tougher than shoe leather CFS. Their«kind» adjustment was to take $ 2.40 off the $ 12.00 price of the CFS. That is ridiculous — I was hoping they would have had the sense to take the charge off completely or perhaps charge me for the hashbrowns which was the only part that I could eat. It was nice knowing you, I’m done however.
