I’ve tried this place a couple times and when comparing it to the other cupcake places in town it just doesn’t measure up. Maybe the problem is that I get cupcakes at night rather than when they first open, but (1) the cupcakes are always a little dry, (2) the flavor variety they have is very simple and few in number, and (3) the more complicated flavors I’ve tried (e.g. banana split) did not have a good execution of flavor.

Today I went into the cupcake chic. I asked if they could help me deliver some important news to my 3 little girls. I just found out I am having a boy. So I wanted to do a reveal with cupcakes. And they helped me out last minute I almost cried. The cupcakes came out so cute and my girls loved them!

Great cupcakes and great cookies. The lemon cookie with the lemon glaze icing is delicious. A cute little shop, nothing out of the ordinary but it’s good!

This place is decent… I consider myself a bit of a dessert pro and cupcake chic delivers a great cupcake. They serve a nice moist cake with lots of flavor and just enough cream cheese frosting (which I love) on top. The price is right in my opinion.
Cupcake chic doesn’t make a great cookie though… Just not that great which is a bit disappointing. I haven’t tried any of the dessert bars yet but hope to get to them on my next visit!
This place is a cute lil shop and it good, just really not anything unique or special. Still delightful though and cures a sweet tooth craving for sure.

I got the chocolate raspberry cupcake, and it was fresh and tasted OK, although it was a little too sweet for my taste. Also, for the size I thought it was overpriced, and I was disappointed that it looked like it had a bite out of it. I guess I’ve been spoiled by Cravings-Alisha’s Cupcakes in Pleasant Grove. The cupcakes there are much more flavorful, and larger in size too. I won’t be going back to Cupcake Chic.

Love their cupcakes! I get a different one each time, even though my husband always gets their key lime cupcake. So moist, so delicious. They are a little pricey, but the price is worth it. It’s a treat for a broke student like me. :)

I go to every cupcake place I can find, in town or when I am out of town I try cupcake places when I can find them. I think I have been to all of them in town multiple times. I have been to Cupcake Chic at least10 times. I think the cupcakes there are definitely some of the better ones that I have had. The cookies are really good, they may even be better than cupcakes. The cupcakes are simpler than most, but I like the fact that they aren’t buried in icing like so many others.

Their cupcakes are by far my favorite in the Provo-Orem area. I’ve never bought a full-size cupcake, just the minis. They’re about $ 1.50 each, so you can sample a lot of different flavors. My favorite flavor is the classic, which is a gourmet version of a Hostess cupcake.
Not too much frosting, great flavors.
