I always end up feeling sick after eating here. The only redeeming part about Jason’s is the free ice cream

A perfect example of A-ok. Good bread. Good meat. Nothing that would make me crave and crave and crave, but I dig it.

Given that this was one of the few sort of «high end» sandwich(at least in ideals) chains I hadn’t gotten to yet and I somehow couldn’t find the Firehouse across the street until afterwards(GAH!), I stopped in at this place. While the décor and service were overall pretty good and they had some unique-ish beverages, I wound up wishing I hadn’t hungry as I was. I also missed seeing the Cuban Press, which I would have gotten had I not been in such a rush, but when I saw the Pastrami Melt, I went for that. Pastrami can be very challenging for restaurants, while simultaneously still being somewhat of a safe bet, if that makes sense. In this case, I didn’t get the pickle that was supposed to come with the sandwich and as for the sandwich itself… When I’m paying over $ 6 for a sandwich, I don’t expect to be picking it apart, but when I got what appeared to be a cheese-covered brisket fat sandwich, I have little choice. In this case, I wound up with far more fat than actual meat(what was there was dismal and mostly tasteless) and a very healthy layer, probably as thick as a cheese slice itself, of the mustard on the other wide. So, all told, I wound up with half of the bread, which was toasted nicely, I must say and maybe 1⁄3 or less of the actual weight of the«meat» on the sandwich as edible. The pile of fat left on top of the salted Ruffles(seriously, plain chips?) was testament to the absurd mess this lunch wound up being. Definitely won’t be trying that Cuban Press(or anything else here by my choice) at this location… what a disaster.

I love Jason’s deli but I don’t know how I feel about this location. Not very friendly and inviting but the food was decent.

FREEICECREAM! I don’t know why, but I am never excited to go here, but always satisfied when I leave. My friend really likes it and we hit it for lunch often. Plenty good, I just don’t dream about it.

The cheesecake here is amazing! The rest of the food is fine, nothing amazing but pretty decent and the place is huge. The service is good, it’s done cafeteria style but the staff come by to check up on you every so often. The take out/pick up is fast and easy, when we went there to actually sit in the restraint it was a Thursday night and the place was almost empty but I’ve seen it be packed too.

I am ALL about the Muffaletta sandwich! I haven’t even noticed that they serve other food items here…

My wife and I ventured over to Jason’s Deli for lunch and it was decent, but nothing spectacular. You place your order at the counter and they bring your food out to the table(this part is important later). I got the Caesar Chicken Wrap and my wife ordered the Chicken Pot Pie soup. When they delivered our food the server accidentally spilled my wife’s Chicken Pot Pie soup right at the table and some ended up on her arm. The staff quickly apologized and did a great job of cleaning up, they even sped the replacement soup out. I guess my wife is just a spill magnet, since this is about the third time she’s been the target. :( So after the spill, we got back to eating. My wife’s replacement soup was delicious, but her sandwich was mediocre at best. My tortillas were too small to really«wrap» around the Caesar Chicken, so most of the contents ended up on the plate. I’ve never been a fan of messy meals, so that was a big sticking point. Originally I was going to give them 2 stars for the underwhelming lunch, but they did have a soft serve ice cream station, and who doesn’t like ice cream? +1 star for that! ANDTOCLARIFY — We weren’t mad about the spill, the staff was quick to apologize and make things right, and the replacement food came out really fast. It was an honest mistake, but it also may have influenced our experience. We didn’t expect anything extra aside from a replacement, which we got, but it wouldn’t have hurt to offer us a dessert or something similar, having been such good sports.

I don’t know why people like this place. The only nice things are the free soft serve cones, and its locations. It seems to be very bland food, and I have never ordered anything that I was overly happy about. Our office used to be in the adjacent lot, and we would frequent this place a lot so I have had a lot of different things on the menu. If I have any advice it would be to not order the pastrami. This is one of my favorite sandwiches, but this place ruined pastrami sandwiches for me for about a month. If you want a good pastrami sandwich I would hit up Baileys.

You can tell a lot of passion went into creating this place. The color scheme, the lighting, the art, the arrangement of the chairs and tables, and definitely the menu all create a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere. I went last night and got the panini, which was very good. They have a lot of options in soups, sandwiches, wraps, pastas, and an impressive salad bar. I can’t wait to go back to try it all!

So many choices! I loved that everything tasted fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. The only complaint that I had was the size of the sandwiches we ordered. I expected bigger portions for the price. However the taste was great and the sandwich was filling. While we got our order to go this time, the atmosphere looked really fun and I was surprised at how large the space was. It is a place that we will try again.

We went to Jason’s Deli for lunch today. I had the club sandwich which is ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar with lettuce and tomato on a croissant. The sandwich was served with potato chips and I had a cup of tomato soup on the side. Overall I was quite happy with the sandwich, it tasted good and had plenty of meat on it. I hate it when places skimp out on the meat. Two slices of ham! Are you kidding me?! The tomato soup was less than desirable. It was really chunky and had a peculiar flavor. I’m not sure what the flavor was that bothered me, but overall I didn’t like the soup and didn’t eat much of it. I would go back to Jason’s Deli if someone suggested it but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. Also, for two people we spent $ 25 for lunch which is pricey in my opinion.

I love Jason’s Deli. Whenever I am in the mood for soup or for a sandwich this is always the top of my list. I may be a bit one note with this place but it is the only place that has a Muffaletta in my area. I love the sandwich and always get it with the Chicken Pot Pie Soup as I like creamier soups. The salad bar is amazing with a huge amount of options. All of this and a price that competes with most fast food and you can’t go wrong! Aside from all the good stuff on the menu you pay for, they have free ice cream which no one can complain about!

So they have free ice cream, yet I didn’t take some. Why not I still wonder to myself. I will not lie I thought Jason’s was like Subway, until I entered their doors. It is a restaurant! What?!? I got my order to go, I was still in the subway like mentality. The food was really good and it comes with organic blue tortilla chips. I was impressed. The staff was really helpful, they substituted and egg for meat, no extra charge(as it should be). I was super impressed!(Did you get the point) I would defiantly come back here again if I’m ever craving a sandwich.

The fact that since I’ve moved from Portland most of my reviews consist of chain restaurants saddens me. That said, for a chain, Jason’s is alright. The portions on anything I’ve had there are large enough to ensure you have leftovers and some free ice cream never hurts. The Yankee is a good option for a sandwich and the bread bowls are tasty. Service is generally fast and friendly and the prices are pretty good, portion size taken into account. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, Jason’s is a much better option than McDonald’s, but it’s far from the best sandwich you’ll ever have.

Two stars based mainly on the fact that this place purports to be far better than it really is. I’d lick to slap 2 star ratings on every person that tells me to eat here, suggests we eat here or tells me they like eating here. I’ll punch you all with my 2 star brass knuckles. I was excited when a cool place like this turned up in Utah County. Unfortunately the food is WAY overrated and over priced in my opinion and the service seems slow every time I come in. Just because the line is to the door doesn’t mean the food is hoppin’ at Jason’s, it just means they only have one register open.

I believe I now have a love-hate relationship with Jason’s deli. I ordered the Italian Po-Boy sandwich and was thoroughly impressed. That is, until an hour later. Whatever it was in that sandwich, it had the same effect on both my coworker and myself. — not so good. But the rest of the experience was good. The sandwiches are fresh and the soup is surprisingly really good. And of course, you have to mention the free ice cream — the best part. I had to get a cone before and after my lunch. The place is priced relatively well for what you get and the quality of the food. And with espn on the tv, this place offers a nice and quick escape from the office.

Jason’s is my favorite lunch place in the University Mall area. The food is outstanding – always fresh, and reasonably priced. I love the free ice cream cones. My favorite entrée is the California club, though you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Jason’s can be a bit crowded sometimes, but they’ve taken some steps to make the lines go faster and I’ve never had a problem getting a table.

I first became familiar with Jason and his deli in Charlotte, NC where I lived during the summer. I discovered that Jason’s Deli not only had delicious sandwiches, but was the only place I could find that had an awesome salad bar where I could have an all spinach salad. To top it off and make the experience even better was the free soft serve ice cream you get. If you want the best bang for your buck, order the half salad half sandwich combo. the sandwhich is awesome, the salad is unlimited, and you get fruit with the order. Awesome!
