We stumbled onto this location after trying(and failing) to go somewhere for dinner. It was 7:30pm and everywhere had an hour wait, and my hunger couldn’t wait an hour. The environment isn’t like a traditional restaurant, you stand in line and order your food then take a seat. There are two entrances to the restaurant and every time he door opened a very cold gust of air blew into the building. None of the chairs or tables provided a comfortable distance away cold doors. So, the food was okay, not terrible, not great. I got pizza and my wife for pesto. A little heavy on salt and a little bland. One positive, it had live music. The sound tech couldn’t figure out the microphone volume and he instrument volumes. Bass was loudest, barely able to hear guitar and voice was literally silent.

Probably the best gelato I’ve ever had!(My favorite was the coconut/“Coco). Good service, and the live music was fun, too!

Go to Napolitano Pizzeria, the owner is from Italy and the pizza chef is from Naples — I enjoy selecting my own toppings, the caprese is good.

We found this place back in 2011 and it instantly became our default Saturday lunch destination. Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Provo.(One time we’ve even encountered some friends from SLC that had come down JUST to try their pizza!) Speaking of pizza, it is genuinely Italian. My favorite is the Mamma Mia, with arugula and prosciutto. My husband always resorts to the That’s Amore, with lots of meaty goodness on top. Some of our other favorites are: lasagna(moist and with generous bolognesa sauce on top that our picky-eater toddler absolutely LOVES), and gnocci(try their walnut sauce – velvety and really yummy!). Dessert-wise, if you’ve never had tiramisu bc the traditional recipe takes coffee, try their CHOCOLATE(no coffee!) tiramisu: an absolute MUST! Unless, of course, you need the most refreshing and flavorful gelato, in which case my favorite is their mango one. To die for on summer days! Plus, I love their friendly service and live-music nights! Truly a great restaurant to take the entire family!(And I can’t tell you how many girls night out I’ve had there). Terra Mia food will not disappoint!

On the surface, Terra Mia is another in the ever-growing number of «authentic» Italian pizzerias. They follow the same idea of genuine Napoletan pizza: hand-formed crust, toppings scattered somewhat haphazardly, then flash cooked in a wood-burning oven. However, some restaurants are more committed to this ideal than others. There is actually an association which regulates this entire concept – the VPN, or Vera Pizza Napoletana. To date, Utah has only one pizza restaurant which is VPN certified: Settebello(in downtown Salt Lake City and also in Farmington). But even though Terra Mia hasn’t gone all-in on the VPN ideal, I have good news: they are the closest non-VPN Utah restaurant I have found. Don’t think this means I am damning them with faint praise – far from it. TM puts together a *great* pizza; the toppings are fresh and tasty, the chewy crust is downright yummy, and the pizzas are ready fairly quickly. On top of that, their expanded menu offers other choices including a variety of pastas. I am a huge fan of pasta, but I’ve yet to actually try any that they offer because I give in and order a pizza on every visit. And if all that weren’t enough – and, frankly, it should be – TM also makes their own top-notch gelato for you to cap off your meal. While some might complain that there are only 8 flavors on hand at any one time, don’t let that disappoint you: their gelato is On. Point. Ask for a few samples; I’m certain they will have something that amazes you. Long story short, TM is a great place to eat. It handily shames Pizzeria Limone in flavor, variety, authenticity and also price. If you can’t make it all the way to Settebello in downtown SLC, this is Utah county’s best option for authentic pizza. If you haven’t been here, you definitely need to stop in.

Having been to Naples, and enjoyed the pizza and other food there, it is nice to experience authentic Italian food right here in Utah Valley. The food has always been great, especially if you like authentic dishes. And, it is a fun and enjoyable place to meet and hang with friends. Oh, and the gelato adds that extra touch to help me remember my time in Italy.

One of my favorite pizza locations! Most authentic Italian pizza! After returning from Italy, this is the only one nearby that can satisfy my appetite for pizza.

It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t anything special. It’s pretty hard to get a margherita pizza wrong, to be honest. So my pizza was pretty good. However, at the same time the crust wasn’t my favorite. For the price, I’d say it was almost worth it. All in all I don’t see myself going back. Something else will always sound more appetizing.

This place seems to have gotten better with time. I haven’t been here in a while and I forgot how much I like it. My two favorites are the Napoli Panuozzi(crazy good sandwich with prosciutto) and the Pulcinella pizza with this amazing bacon marmalade.

This is good Napolitano style pizza. Cooked on a wood fire oven by a napolitano pizzaiolo himself, pizzas come out fresh, light, and with that tad of char on the crust that satisfies the taste buds. I suggest going with the simple Margherita as they do in Napoli. They are short 5 stars because at times, there pizza has become too soggy in the middle. If you want a 5 star Naples style pizza, try Settebello in Salt Lake, but if you don’t want to make the drive, Terra Mia is the next best thing.

Went tonight and was honestly very disappointed. The lentil and sausage soup was good. But that is where my enjoyment ended. I ordered the chicken Marsala. My dish easily took 30 minutes to come out. Once I got my food I was hopeful(Marsala is one of my favorite dishes). However, once again my hopes and dreams were crushed. The chicken was thin, dry, and lukewarm. The taste wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t good. I was left very disappointed. After having a sub par meal, the stay took a turn for the worse. The manager came around asking if we had received everything(we were about half way through our meals). I informed him that I was still waiting on a cannoli. He told me he would get right on that. For a minute, I thought I had found a silver lining«At least the service is good.» I thought. But after 15 minutes the manager came back around to see if things were going well. I looked up to mention the cannoli when he seemed to remember and said«So are you ready for the cannoli?». But wait? Hadn’t I already told the man I was waiting for it? So again I say yes. Another 10 minutes pass with me just twiddling my thumbs. Finally a waitress comes around and I tel her that I am waiting for a cannoli and can I please get it to go now(because by this point I am just done with the whole experience). She also tells me she will go get it. Another 10 minutes. No I am not joking. We are now going on 35 minutes waiting on a cannoli. The manager comes back around to see if we need anything. Again I inform him that I am waiting on a cannoli. He says sorry and goes back again to get it. Another 5 minutes and finally out comes the cannoli. The waitress apologized and was nice about it, but by this point I am upset that I have waited 40 minutes for a cannoli. I would tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were busy. But the place was not busy. There were maybe 15 people in the whole joint. So I don’t buy that they were just too busy to keep up. All in all I would definitely rate the place far below average. The food was sub par and barely warm, and the service was atrocious.

Not sure exactly what used to go on here to get the bad reviews, but there are either a bunch of pizza hut and papa John’s freaks on Unilocal or the owners have addressed the problems. My wife had the margherita pizza, crispy throughout and typical of a true Italian style pizza. Simple, fresh ingredients. Same for my genova panuozzi(sammich) as was my daughter’s lasagna. Portions were large and all of us ended up with clamshell take home. As I said before, if there were any problems, they have been remedied.

Good enough. The pizzas have nice flavor and a nice crust. I will go back for more pizza, as they mostly resemble the Neapolitan style and don’t cost a fortune.(They don’t use fresh mozz, however). I also like that they use rosemary in their marinara sauce – rosemary makes the sauce slightly sweet, but not sugary. What I won’t go back for is the blue cheese mushroom gnocchi. I tried it with my wife and found it 1. Bland 2. Mushy, with a texture like glue 3. Way too thick 4. And thus sticky in your mouth. It really was just unappetizing. The blue cheese wasn’t quite blue cheese either. It was a different sort of «tangy.» Almost spoiled. Unfortunately, their gelato machine was broken too. Yet another reason to go back and try the pizza again.

My husband and I love Terra Mia. The owner hosts free concerts on Wed. nights, breakfast with Santa as well as many other events. The food is excellent, gelato is amazing and atmosphere is delightful. Nice authentic Italian flavor with high quality ingredients from Italy. It is also conveniently located by the Orem Mall and across from the Orem Movie theater.

This place went downhill fast. The pasta was runny and soggy once. The chicken has been clearly boiled and is rubbery now. The prices have been raised way too high for low quality food. The sauces were weak and bland. The pizza was burned. It was edible, but not worth another visit IMO.

My husband & I loved the food. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my husband got the lasagna. My husband is a very picky eater, he said this was one of his favorite lasagna’ from a restaurant. The only negative I have is that they brought our food out at different times. I had to wait several minutes after my husband got his food. I will be going back. I’m looking forward to trying the pizza.

The name escapes me but the flatbread sandwich they serve was good enough that I’ll be back next time I am nearby. The tomato basil soup that comes with it was also tasty. My son got spaghetti carbonara of which I stole more than one forkful. Great spot…

This place used to be… and I mean USEDTOBE excellent. The food used to be well-made and delicious. My last 2 experiences did not fly as it «used to be». We were here again last night and the food is okay but I am not too crazy about it. I got the Calzone pizza and the roommate the Napoli panuozzi. The pizza was fresh, crispy and had a decent flavor. The dough was chewy and the cheese was high quality and delicious but they put way too much olive oil that the crust got really soggy after about 10 minutes. I had to eat the remaining half of my pizza with a fork. The panuozzi was okay. Fresh ingredients but stingy proportion for $ 10. Roommate was still hungry afterwards. The gelato here is overpriced. We get it every time… because my roommate loves it so much. They did not have many gelato flavors this time and the ones they had were not my cup of tea. I got the pistachio/hazelnut and the roommate strawberry/hazelnut. The pistachio and strawberry were pretty good but the hazelnut was too nutty and we were both quickly overwhelmed by it. I also did not like how they mushed one flavor on the bottom and filled the top with the other(see pics). It’s just harder to dig into the bottom flavor. No biggie but again, another thing that went downhill. Oh and did I add that it’s overpriced? Terra Mia was pretty crowded as there was live music last night & the atmosphere was actually quite excellent. All in all, the food here has gone downhill. It’s not that bad but again, nobody wants to pay a premium for«just okay» food.

Terra Mia was not at all what I expected and I’m so glad I was wrong. We went in the middle of the day so we had the place almost to ourselves but when I’ve been in the area at night I can see that it can get pretty busy. Our food was fresh, delicious and came fast. We ordered the Margherita Pizza which it the equivalent of a cheese pizza but SO different; the cheese is fresh, real mozzarella, the sauce actually tasked like tomatoes and the crust — I could write sonnets to this crust — it was had kneaded and baked in a brick oven so it kept that smoky flavor from the fire. There is also a Gelato bar with 8 different flavors; I got half hazelnut and half coconut and both were awesome.
