This is by far the best breakfast place in Orland Park… beats Lumes by a mile! Their juices are amazing, and breakfast is delicious! Everything I have every had here has been good from pancakes, waffles, omelets, all outstanding. I do order the potatoes well done, as I do not like them wilted. Eggs benedict are average, but all other items including the steamed omelet are very good! Have never ordered off the lunch menu, as I luv their breakfast items. And when they say fresh fruit, it is fresh!

Food was mediocre at best. Eggs were tiny and underdone. Sausage was bland and drowning in grease. Hash browns overdone and drowning in grease. Bacon underdone, floppy, drowning in grease. I was completely disappointed. Service was average.

Hearing how. amazing this place is from local folks. I thought I would try it and get take out breakfast before work. A simple breakfast sandwich opened the container and smelled funny I guess. I figured hey eggs smell funny. Yep I ate my 8 dollar breakfast sandwich and was in and out of the rest room at work . once again it may have been something I ate the night before so I tried it again… Yep…my mistake… This time it didn’t look so good on the other end. So I don’t think I will ever experience that again.

Why oh why can’t they be open for dinner??? We just moved in the area and just stumbled on this place and are we glad that we did. We go there with our family of 6 and everyone can find something to eat. The fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade fruits drinks are great. Glad we tried it. My wife got some type of Gluten free omelet with basil and WOW!!! that was wonderful. The fresh basil really brought out the other flavors. Can’t wait to go back. In a area surrounded by chain restaurants this is a gem.

For breakfast a late Saturday morning breakfast. Loud, slow and only mediocre food. There are better options.

I was surprised by how many options this place had to offer! I ordered tea and a steak skillet and got gluten free pancakes! The skillet was really greasy. The pancakes were good. It’s great that the have so many options but the reading the menu is tiresome. Service wasn’t so great even though the place was half empty.

I like to arrive when they open Sunday’s at 7am. Quiet and peaceful before the rush. Sinatra playing. Beautiful lit and cozy décor. Amazing Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. Good coffee.

Great for breakfast — they’ve been pretty busy each time I went, but still accommodated us within a reasonable amount of time. Food is great — fresh juices and smoothies. And usually breakfast restaurants(at least in this area) make you feel like you’re in an old school setting — I don’t know about other people but tooooo old school for me — but not this place. This place is new and fresh. :)

Came here again yesterday for breakfast. Tried something new. I had the corned beef hash benedict. This was a heaping portion of both halves of English muffin and topped with 4 eggs. A unique twist was a thick slice of tomato on each half under the hash. This made fo an enhanced and differnt taste for this dish. It came with a side of some of the best hashborwns in the area for breakfast. I am consistanty pleased and impressed with evey visit as the food here is made with love and care for sure.

Had breakfast with my little one here today, and really enjoyed it. The menu is super large and accomodating, offering your typical combinations but also a lot of unique offerings such as jalapeño bacon. I had the fire alarm skillet with andouille sausage, bacon, and jalapenos… super tasty and perfectly spicy. It was a great size for the price, was able to bring half home for tomorrow. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and I was extremely pleased with how much food she got from a kids menu item. Service was a little slow and didn’t see the waitress much, but it’s a busy place on a Saturday morning so it’s understandable.

The food was horrible. Waitress was awesome, very attentive. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak, it was greasy and bland. It looked aesthetically appealing — -well looks are deceiving. The onions and green peppers were greasy and flavorless. The cup chilli was decent, no bragging. I really thought the food was going to be great. The place looks great. It took forever to get our food. After the food arrived the waitress later told us that Cook dropped our food and had to remake everything(maybe that was why it was so bland). IJS

Arrived around 10:30 on Sunday… busy but didn’t have to wait for a table. Star number one. Coffee was good. I didn’t have a latte or any of the coffee bar drinks so can’t say the regular coffee was superior to anyplace else in the area. Food – I had the steamed omelet which I loved because I hate overly oily or buttery eggs. Some might not like this so you might want a traditional omelet, which I tasted from my mom’s plate and it was excellent too. Pancakes were perfect, homemade jam for toast was excellent and my moms hash browns were crisp which I loved. So add another two or three stars for quality of food. By the way, portion sizes are huge(in my opinion) so for cost, you are getting quite a bit. Service – we had great service so a star for that, and ambience was a cozy diner. You are not on top of other tables either, which I get annoyed with. All in all, I would compare this to Lumes or Blueberry Hill –traditional good breakfast place(with lunch menu as well). What stands this place out for me is the Steamed Omelet option, healthy menu and gluten free menus which are more expansive than any other breakfast place that I have been to.

PROS: The gluten free menu draws me in the most. Of all the places around, I still prefer this one. Creative, consistent, fair priced, and with polite servers. Clean, too. CONS: When will the bathrooms get separated??? I find it nasty to know I can hear a man peeing in the room next to the women. Gross gross gross.

I took my grandmother here after her doctor’s appointment ended earlier and she suggested we get breakfast but made me pick the place. Miele was close by, recommended by a couple of friends, so alas, we went here. It was a Tuesday at about 10:15, there were not many people inside, but it also was not empty. The inside is decorated quite well, it reminded me of some kind of European café; dark but rich colors well-illuminated with natural light from the outside. We asked for a booth and the host showed us to a nice and quiet spot not too far from the door, perhaps noticing my grandmother doesn’t walk well, which was very thoughtful, if that were the case. We perused the menu and like many breakfast/lunch cafes, the quantity of items is vast. My grandmother wanted crepes but we were both a little disappointed in the selection. They had plain, an apple cinnamon, as well as 2 more heavy chicken and perhaps artichoke crepes, but there were only 4 choices total, though you could buy the plain one and add berries and nuts for ~$ 2.25 for each topping. She ended up doing this and getting walnuts. She said it was good, I thought it was just ok. I was very surprised to not see any fresh berry-stuffed crepes; the fruit only appeared to come as a «topping» which might be a let-down for die-hard crêpe people. I went with the Belgian malted waffle. This waffle was nearly perfect in shape, had the proper texture, adequate moisture and above average taste. I was a little disappointed I only got 1, but 2 orders would have been over $ 10. Moderation is key when it comes to waffles(or any other sugary baked goods), I suppose. I felt the coffee was above average. I must also mention that Café Miele appears to have a full line of coffees, lattes, expressos, and anything a barista could whip up, as it appears they actually have one in-house. My general impression was that Miele is pricey for what it is. Our breakfast was comparably expensive and I was a little disappointed in not seeing at least 2 choices of fresh fruit-stuffed crêpe on the menu. If you’re looking for those I’d recommend La Crêpe Bistro or even Blueberry Hill in Homer Glen. Otherwise, I will have to come back for the more hearty breakfast, as the other reviewers seem to have enjoyed. I’ll be back!

Outstanding! Jalapeño Bacon! Pretty much says it all. Great biscuits and gravy. Yummy pancakes and a great variety of skillets. The food is tasty, large portions, and presented in an appetizing manner. The menu also has many dietary options. I found the service to be quick and attentive. However, there seems to be a wait when you arrive. Not much fun. One really nice touch is that the coffee and related beverages are prepared by a barista who brings them to your table independent of the wait staff. Good lighting, pleasant ambiance.
