I have been a customer at this red lobster for 30 years. I can not believe that it has turned into GETTOHEAVEN!!! My wife and I went for dinner at 5:30pm it wasn’t crowded but the hostess sat us next to the loudess getto party in the place they were so loud I couldn’t even hear anything my wife had to say. As the meal went on they got louder. The service was good the waitress could see that we were not happy with the surroundings and kept trying to make the experience better. She worked really hard and her tip reflexed her effort. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And I won’t be back and is really a sad that it has turned into this after 30years of patronage. I guess they value steady customers.

Alright first off, if I could leave ZERO stars I would have. Quite possibly the WORST service I’ve ever received in any restaurant. I was a server/bartender at Olive Garden for quite some time and everything I saw tonight would never fly when I served. Not even worth complaining to the manager because I would never step foot in that location again. Sorry Orland Park Red Lobster you have lost a customer and I definitely will not advise anyone I know to eat there. Good day sir.

My family LOVES Red Lobster and HATES this location. We love red lobster because it is usually very consistent and taste great, service is great and the biscuits. We came to the Orland Park location and it was a nightmare. The server was horrible I was ordering the pick 3 and he’s wasn’t even sure what that was, at first I thought he was new. Then we asked for biscuits well you can see the pics I posted we had a lobster pizza app(was ok kinda dry not really hot), finished our salad and still no biscuits. The table across from us came later and had biscuits. Before they got theirs we asked the server a second time if we could get biscuits as we wanted them with the salad, he said they not ready yet the other table got them couple min later. Then it took FOREVER for the dinners. Finally when we were finished and ready to leave the server was no where in sight. We waited 5 min then asked the hostess if we could pay her as we needed to leave she said she would get the server. Another 10 min went by and I got up and walked out. Luckily my wife stuck for a bit longer to get the bill so she could pay. We will NEVER be back at this location again.

Food was alright. My concern(and why I couldn’t give this location anymore stars) was the temperature. This place is freezing. From my understanding, restaurants keep it cold so patrons eat and leave. That’s understandable, and clever. This place was so cold I didn’t even want to wait for my food. I would have left hadn’t we received our salads. I probably won’t return to this location without a thick winter coat, and you shouldn’t either.

I swear, if it weren’t for the biscuits, this whole franchise would evaporate. This particular location doesn’t bring biscuits to the table until after you order to drive appetizer sales and save on biscuit mix. The lobster pizza has so little flavorless lobster on it you won’t notice it’s even there. The crust will be burnt and the center under cooked. Everything is drowned in oil that pools on your plate you feel ashamed for what you just ate.

Why bother. Dirty, lame food. I really don’t know why I allowed the group to chose this. I rarely give anything less than three stars because I usually have more control over where I choose to go. Low quality. My guess is that it serves people who rarely go out and lack the experience to know what’s good. Basically, it’s like fast food shrimp, etc, combined with Market Day items.

Apparently ownership of this restaurant has changed as I had the worst dining experience of recent memory. Ordered lobster and the laws were dry, indicating it had been frozen. I requested another one and it was slightly less sey. So disappointed as I used to enjoy going there periodically. Additional indication of change is there used to be an hour or so wait starting at 4pm weekends, we walked in at 6pm and got seated!!! Quality of food is sadly gone way down hill. What a shame.

We came here for lunch one day(Grandma’s choice) and had an enjoyable time. Décor: It’s a Red Lobster, so it’s the standard nautical theme. It is a bit darker but the tables are plenty well lit for you to see your food. Bathroom: Clean, standard bathroom. Staff: Our waitress was pleasent and accommodating given that we were there with Grandma. She was helpful with the menu and also suggested alternatives when she informed Grandma that it was not currently Lobster Fest. She was also quick with the food and the refills on drinks. Food: Standard fare for RL, it was all very good. We had a bowl of crab legs(delicious and decent-sized), double-lobster tail bowl(LOTS of lobster!) and the catch of the day(tasty). The food came out hot and everything was great — including the salads and phenomenal rolls. Value: You pay what you expect but you leave stuffed, good value here. Red Lobster is Grandma’s favorite spot and they do a solid job, we’ll come back again in the future I’m sure.

Brought my family(all 5 of us) for the first time this past Wednesday. Overall very good-I had the Admirals Feast and it was very good. My wife said her crab legs were not good and the lobster tail was ehhh. The drinks were good-kids had $ 2 smoothies which was cool. Kids all liked their food-especially their fried shrimp. Fries were a little soft. The cheddar biscuits were friggin amazing and the salads were good. Service was pretty good-only had one occasion when we were actually«looking» for our server. The bill was expensive, but hey we enjoyed ourselves. I like this location more than Matteson too.

Had some weird black mold on my Caesar salad. Brought it to the waitress’ and manager’s attention and no one even came out to explain. It bothered me that they didn’t seem to care, so I asked to speak to the manager before paying the bill. I have only complained to a restaurant manager one other time in the last 10 years, but this black stuff looked disgusting and I wanted to know what they thought it was, since I had eaten several bites of my salad before noticing. The manager came out and didn’t really seem to care much. I said«I know it is Saturday night and you are very busy, but I thought this might be of concern» I had been to this place several times over the last 20 years and never had this kind of thing happen. On top of it the«Ultimate Feast» I ordered was all very over cooked, the waitress never brought any rolls, brought a few dinners to part of our group and then a few more dinners 10 minutes later and never refilled iced teas. Worst dinner I had here in 20 years. The manager didn’t offer to do anything about it and basically just listened to my complaint. I asked him if he would do something about that bad lettuce so that they would not serve it to others. He said they have been having some problems with their produce lately, but didn’t say they wouldn’t continue to serve that same batch to other people dining that evening. I told him I would be posting about this on Unilocal and might consider calling the Health Dept and he offered to take 20% off of our bill, which was about the equivalent of my meal. I accepted, but asked him to throw out that batch of lettuce. Not sure if they did.

Red Lobster rates pretty high in my overall rankings of chain restaurants. This location is no exception. Endless shrimp was going on which always brings me in and it did not disappoint me at all. Endless shrimp and cheddar biscuits? what more does one need? W went at kind of an off hour and the place only had a few tables filled. That kind of scares me a bit because there is a better chance of lapses in service but out server Maria was on top of her game. She was very attentive and tool good care of us. Meal was thoroughly enjoyed

Our family loves fish, but good fish that is cooked well. We were all disappointed about our dinner tonight. The rolls of course are scrumptious and legendary. But beyond that I couldn’t justify the food for the price. Small shrimp, poorly seasoned and dried out«lobster». Service was good but this was a Tuesday night. I am amazed at how busy RL is. I don’t think people know how delicious well cooked fish can be. Will not return.

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review now because I’ve come here MANY times and had perfectly positive experiences. But this past Saturday night, when we checked into Lobsterfest, our waiter«DC — D’Ivory» was anything but checked-in himself. I really hope his service isn’t a reflection on the restaurant as a whole because if it is, the place has gone downhill. I am hoping that someone, SOMEWHERE reads this review and does something to improve the service. And I am somewhat convinced that it is only the service offered by certain servers, because I saw many other attentive and friendly servers attending to the tables around me. When we sat down, «DC» kind of plopped down a basket of biscuits and then left. He came back to take our drink orders and brought me a luke warm iced tea with no ice in it, and no lemon in it. Each time he returned to our table throughout the night he would act as though something else had distracted him, and zip off to another nearby table. The one behind us was annoyed because they’d been waiting for their check. Eventually he came back to us and took our order. Our salads and appetizer were delivered at the same time without silverware. I raised an eyebrow, which he clearly took offense to, and started to react, but moderated himself. The poor service continued. My entrée later arrived lukewarm, but our server did not return to ask how everything was, so I decided to simply eat it in it’s half-warm state. I am led to believe that it was left to sit for too long before being delivered to our table. Drinks went unfilled, and once again he pulled the disappearing act in the middle of attending to us when he finally did return. The whole experience from the poor service to the cold food left a bad taste in my mouth for this Red Lobster location. I hope they can straighten things out and get back on track because as I stated before, I’ve had many pleasant meals at this location.

The only good thing about my visit to Red Lobster on Friday was Dominique, my server and the welcoming staff. It’s been a very long time since I’ve patronized Red Lobster. When it comes to seafood, I tend to dine at non-chain eateries. I gave this locale two stars for the dinner served. It will be a long time before I will enter a Red Lobster again. A welcoming staff and great server are the additional outcomes that make for great dinning experiencing… but let’s face it, if the food isn’t up to par… well… the experience itself flounders… no pun intended. There wasn’t a single item that I enjoyed. The meal was extremely salty, over-cooked and ill prepared. Staff: 5-stars. Food: 2-stars

Depending on the day there might be a wait but it is always shorter than what they say. Service is always good. Food comes in a timely matter, crowded or not. Never went to one in oak lawn and always go to this one in orland. Will continue to go here.
