Marc Anthony Salon

I just noticed the «categories» listed for Marc Anthony starts with «Men’s Hair Salons,» which is misleading as it is a totally normal hair salon. In fact I’ve been there 3 times and only 1 time saw a guy. Anyway… I found Alyssa when I needed a quick bang trim and have kept going back. I moved to Orland in August from downtown and was a little nervous about finding someone «hip» enough to handle my long partially highlighted red/​blonde hair (and I’m 46 so my hip days are dwindling). I went for a haircut several months ago and she said she could easily match my highlighting. So I decided to try… and outcome was great! My color is exactly as I like it. She is fun to talk too and staff all seem to get along well. Prices are great. I used a $ 90 Unilocal salon coupon (good for any service except hair products) for cut and color and it was honored without pause. Not sure it’s still available but just fyi. Oh also had Alyssa touch up my makeup once and she did great job. Aside, when I was there a darling young girl was getting her hair braided for a dance-​her stylist was so cool working with her Googling ideas changing it and just patient. There were also older ladies getting their Friday «dos» done. Point is it caters to lots of people. It is located in same mall as Orland Bakery. Also noticed they sell high end hair products and do Kerastes (sp?) treatments. In and out rather quickly too… faster than downtown places. I’d say a must try!

I tried to make an appointment and the woman who answered the phone was rude. I will not be going here anytime soon.

3 weeks later, No chip again held up very well. Connie is great :) There also starting a reward program at the salon, worth checking out.

Sabrina did a awesome job correcting my color and cutting my hair. I have curly hair so I have a hard time finding someone to do it… but she was knowledgeable and very helpful.
