Nailed it again:) thanks to the guys at the Orland Lagrange Rd Midas. Got my struts and more done same day with zero notice and incredible KINDNESS. No longer Going down the road feeling bad:) thanks again.

Our 2011 Kia Soul started making a rattling noise at the top end of first gear and then again half way through second gear. Took it to the dealer who said it was the flex pipe, part would cost $ 400 plus two hours labor. However it could require replacing the entire exhaust system if the flex pipe couldn’t be removed without damaging the exhaust pipe. We wanted a second opinion so we took the car to Midas who found it was a plate that was loose, they tightened the screws and no more rattle! If you are looking for honest mechanics I would highly recommend Midas!!!

I had a car serviced here today. Originally it was for an oil change and then they found that a ball joint needed to be replaced. They offered a ride home or wherever i needed to be, but i declined because it was supposed to be 2 hours at the most. It ended up being over 3 hours because it took awhile to get the ball joint off. Not necessarily their fault, but i was annoyed at the wait. I will be back in 3 months for another oil change though :) thanks!

I brought my car in today at 11:30 since it was making a very loud noise after I drove over a high curb. The guy at the front desk said that it would take about 1.5 hours and offered to drive me home or I could wait. Since the public library was only a few blocks away, I said that I would wait there.
At 1:30 I called to ask about their progress, and they reported that they have not been able to check out the car yet. I asked how much longer… he said «sometime this afternoon» ???
Since I had other commitments, I asked for my car back, and I left.
When I got back to their office they offered some bullsh**t excuses, but basically they just wasted two hours of my time without doing anything.
If they needed 5 hours, then tell me 5 hours… don’t tell me 1.5 hours and then keep me waiting and think that is okay.

I use to take my cars here all the time. Then I started buying new and the cars came with maintenance plans so they were getting serviced at the «stealer» dealer. Now that the plans have expired I am coming back to Midas in OP! They are a great group of workers that are honest and will physically show you everything that they are doing or recommending to do. They very fair priced too which is always a bonus. I’m all about supporting my home town Midas!

We have been getting our cars serviced at a family owned business for 35 years. In fact it is a family friend. Being that it’s just too far away since we moved to Orland park, I decided to go to this local Midas. As a woman it’s sometimes difficult going into these shops because it’s intimidating & I sometimes feel like the guys think that being a woman, we just don’t know much about cars. Well, at this location, I felt absolutely comfortable! Not only did they get me in last minute on a busy Monday morning for them I called at 7) but my car brakes, oil change, and tire rotation were done within 2 hrs along w a full systems check. In addition, the dealership that I bought my car from last year told me I needed new rotors and that my tire treads were at a 5. At Midas, they said my rotors would need to be shaved down before a replacement is necessary and my tire tread was at 7! Talk about helping me save hundreds of dollars just before Christmas! Thank you Orland Park Midas. We will be back!

Excellent service. I am from out of state and needed an oil change. My oil change was performed in a timely manner and Tom in front was extremely kind and helpful. He let me know about a few things on my Taurus that weren’t safe. I would have had no idea if it wasnt for their free inspection. I approved the repairs and was offered a ride home. I wasn’t even spending that much money and they still offered me a ride. I love these guys and will continue to return here for service when I am in town.

Came in for brake pads, folks are nice and reasonable. Applied the discount coupon no questions asked. Showed me a couple of things I might need in the next year and did not pressure me to get more work done right away — what a breath of fresh air !!

I had my second visit with Midas of Orland Park. This time it was to get a radiator flush. Ken or Kent, took the time to look at my vehicle and let me know that it did not need a flush or new hoses, he could have easily done the work and I would not have know the difference. I decided to get an oil change, so I didnt waste their time. I also went in this summer to get new brakes, they were most reasonable price in town and once again I was prepared to pay for ALL new brakes but was told I did not need them, which saved me hundreds. These guys are extremely honest and I would recommend them to anyone needed work on their car.

This is where I take my cars for good service. Honest and polite people. Good prices.

Very quick, took me as a walk-​in when I was headed out for a road trip. They did try to up-​sell me on a few things. Can’t attest to if they «rip-​off» or not… Very upbeat. Waiting room more like a living room, which is nice, but couches are uncomfy (I am picky tho). Lots of pics of the owner’s family, and they like to chit-​chat.

We’ve been to other places in the area, and this location is very reasonable, fair, quick with their work, and nice too!

I’m so excited, I had to update! They called me today to advise me that they mailed out my rebate from work performed at my last visit and that I should look out for that check in the mail. Its enough to buy a round of drinks, hehehe! Talk about going out of your way for great customer service! Thank You Midas, Orland Park!
