Not really a fan. Not sure why there needs to be another Marshalls /TJ Max /Nordstrom Rack /Rossi, but yes here it is. In Orland next to Bed Bath and Beyond. Seems very much the same as the other to me, even though the cashier told me that they were a higher end store.

I would like to thank Daisha specifically for taking the time on the phone as well as in the store to answer my questions about the sale you just had at the orland park illinois location in orland square mall over the weekend. I enjoyed interacting with her because she was polite patient and receptive to all my questions. I do wish everyone in the retail business had her attitude. I am also in sales and know what its like to deal with truly rude customers. FIVESTARSFORDAISHA :)

Bad customer service. Walked out and left our merchandise on counter today. Slooooewwwwww. Waited in line for over 10 minutes with just one customer in front of us. The cashier was clueless. Manager just stood there and looked at us and didn’t offer to turn on a register to check us out. Not going to beg a store to take our money.

It’s like a high class poor people shop. You can get fancy pants(literally like $ 100 jeans) for like $ 40-$ 50. It’s awesome. I feel like living above my station when I shop here. And not only do they have all left overs from the hoity toity department stores, they have bunch of other crap too. Like wine openers and glasses, jewelery and decorative flotsam that you would find at a home store. And the prices can’t be beat, unless you have a coupon. I don’t know if they do coupons but if they did that would be the only way to beat the prices. Even with the prices cut in half, you may still spend a few bucks. You know, half of 200 is still 100.

Holy tacky accessories, Batman. It is like Boca Raton, Florida had an estate sale and all the loud prints had babies with cheap looking costume jewelry and cheap shoes. Not my speed at all. Much too loud, much too many generic clothing at regular prices. The ‘compare at’ tags aren’t fooling a seasoned shopper like me. The housewares department is crammed in between the ladies clothing and the shoes but they have another section in the back of the store that I could not even bring myself to venture into. If you like colors and disposable clothing at laughable prices then Stein Mart is for you. I will stick with the Nordstrom Rack next door to get the real deal Holyfield…

This place is a little more fabulous than TJ Maxx or Marshalls. There’s a lot of glitter and glam which can be too much for some. They have nice costume jewelry, handbags and some really nice bathroom accessories . They also have something for your mother and your grandmother, if they like to look fierce or should I say colorful… Yeah, I like that, COLORFUL… Steinmart is very colorful. PS.Steinmart has shoes too, but you’d be better off walking right across the hall and going to DSW.(Designer Shoe Warehouse)

I’m still not quite sure what to make of this store. I was sent there on a reference from a friend who told me they had great prices on clothes. Yeah, maybe if I was a size 3. They seemed to have an abundance of clothes in smaller sizes, and their whole plus size section was completely stocked with all different color mu-mu’s. but I still decided to look around a bit. I did see some nice handbags and some cute costume jewelry for decent prices. The store itself had a kind of «Marshalls/TJ Max» kind of feel to it, and things were not that organized. They did have fashions for the whole family. Maybe I’ll have to go back to try this one again.
