A Slice Of New York Pizza

This place is awesome! The $ 5 special fills you up and is a great lunch deal. The pizza is really yummy and always fresh, definitely recommend this place for families. The staff is always friendly too which is such a bonus and the owners are very accommodating. Worth going to if in the area!

Nasty. Look at recent reviews. Delivery takes over an hour and cs is shitty and curt. Fine. The delivery guy had no qualms reminding me to add his tip, though. Even before I got the receipt to sign! The food is awful… what I received looks nothing like the pictures posted here! The chicken Parmesan looks like a precooked chicken patty with mozerralla on it. The noodles are in tomato sauce WATER leaving the bottom of the patty soggy and the noodles bare and flavorless. The entire meal has no flavor and was delivered Luke warm at best. I have never had a pasta dish so void of flavor. The pizza was nasty and burned on the bottom. The whole meal is the worst I’ve ever had in Orlando and we’ve gotten food poisoned here before so that should tell you quite a bit. Based on reviews, the service provided by delivery and in their restaurant are completely different… I’d take it further and say (based on the pictures shown from inside their restaurant) neither is the food!

Worse place. I called up for delivery my order came completely wrong so I called back and the lady was so rude and argued back with me and didn’t even offer to change it or make it better nothing. She hung up. on me and screamed at me and told me I was a lier. Don’t come here people. Worse experience ever

My family and I stopped in for a couple of slices. They were very good. Service was great, very friendly. Loved the ambiance with the NY memorabilia.

I used to buy pizza from them all the time. I won’t deny that the pizza is usually good, but that’s the only reason I give them any stars.
Whenever I order a pie I am told it will take 45 mins for delivery, and every time it ends up taking over an hour. Today I ordered a pizza with half steak & cheese and half jalapeño with pineapple. I received a voicemail at 5:44 PM stating that there were no jalapeños and to call back to let them know if I want something else. I called back at 5:58 pm right when I heard the voicemail. When I called the girl on the phone was polite at first and I requested they just make the other half plain because I didn’t want just pineapple on the one side. I was then told that they sent out the pizza without the jalapeño which is confusing because that isn’t what I ordered. The waitress then proceeded to tell me that I was to blame because I took too long to call back and that the other toppings I asked for were on it so it’s fine. It pissed me off being told that I should have called sooner and basically that I don’t have a choice about what I feel like eating. So I asked to talk to the manager and I guess she doesn’t know how to use mute on the phone, because the sarcastic attitude was very clear to hear while she spoke to him about the issue. When he got on the phone I was told again it’s my fault for calling too late. Last time I checked when I order something, that’s what I expect to receive so in response to that I told him I would have waited longer for what I actually want than you rush to bring an order to my house that isn’t what I asked for. I was then told he does that all the time and that I am the only customer to complain about that. Personally, I don’t really give a damn who else complains. It’s my order, I should be able to confirm that it’s alright for them to send it without the topping I ask for or request something else. So I said, if you do it all the time what about a customer ordering a pepperoni pie… you send him a cheese pie if he doesn’t call back a minute later? Of course not!!! His response was «it’s not pepperoni it’s jalapeños». A topping is a topping at the end of the day if it’s not what someone orders don’t get pissed off when they send it back. Like I said earlier, the food isn’t bad, but the customer service definitely showed a new side to them and they lost a customer who’s bought a lot from them in the past.

Went here on a rainy night at 9 pm and left very happy.
Got the two 1-​topping special for $ 15. One was pepperoni and other Italian sausage. Both were excellent, and even with seven of us we took home almost a whole pie.
In addition, we got the garlic knots (12) (so big and yummy– took home four of those). AND shared two of the large house salads with left overs of that too!
Along with seven bottled waters cost is around $ 50.
Super nice service-​even though they were busy.
We are here on vacay or we would certainly be back again.

Best New York style pizza in the area. Small place with good service. The crust was perfect and the toppings were fresh. The only thing I could complain about is that we haven’t come here sooner. Definitely will be our go to place for pizza now.

I absolutely love this place. My job is fairly near so I eat here often. They have a daily $ 5 dollar special 2 slices and a drink. Super convenient when your in a rush and just need to grab something. The salads are great! The house dressing is very addictive. If your ordering the pasta make sure you have an appetite. They give a generous amount. Overall I love this place and highly suggest it to anyone.

Ordered from here while staying at my family’s place over the holidays. Ordered an XL pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. Everything came in piping hot within the half hour. The slices were huge and equally delicious. Not too greasy, which is normally the usual with pepperoni topping pizza. I would definitely order from here again!

An absolute joke… They slipped a menu under the door at my timeshare. After a great day at the park with my family it was ruined by this disgusting food, with a miserable attitude. I NEVER write reviews on this site, as I am a chef, and have been in the industry a long time, but after this I felt the need. The guy who answered the phone was a complete jerk! Never in my life as a customer have I been talked to this way. The food took forever to get there, and when it did, it was embarrassing. Pizza was awful, the «hot wings» had no sauce on them, they just poured some cheap Franks Red hot on the bottom of the to go box. None on the chicken. They wings were obviously frozen at some point because the bone was so dark. To top it off, the delivery driver looked like she just put down the meth pipe to get out of the car. I went to management of the complex this morning, and told them about the solicitations under the door. Usually I’d be ok with this, but you scumbags need to take your filth back to NY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Dominos pizza and wings woulda been MUCH BETTER.

I’ve ordered from here for over a year. Hands down best eggplant parm sub EVER! Make sure you have Daniel make it! Love their creamy Italian house dressing and garlic knots. Salad is always fresh and staff is very friendly. I’ve never had a late delivery and food always arrives fresh from the oven!!!

On vacation in Orlando & tried their cheese pizza & wings special. We ordered a XL pizza and it was huge. The crust was tasty. For it to only be a cheese pizza, it was very flavorful. The wings came with sauce, we got it on the side. I liked the BBQ but the garlic sauce would have been better on the wings. Overall I enjoyed it!

This place is amazing! The food is delicious! Best pizza in Orlando! Whenever I order pizza for my department here at work we always order from here! I heard that Flippers is «good» pizza. Ha! They must be out of their flippin mind to say that! :)

This little pizza place is located in Hunter’s Creek area in Orlando. I have been coming here for at least 7 years and even thought this place had many different owners the pizza is still the same… Really good. This place doesn’t pretend to be a modern day pizza place with some crazy flavor, if your looking for that … wrong place, but if instead you are looking for a awesome cheese pizza with a genuine mom’s and pop’s atmosphere this is your place. Order the 2 slices with soda combo and you are going to be satisfied.

We ordered the two slices for $ 5 (drink included). Pizza slices were BIG; almost looks like half a small pie. I got a cheese slice, my son got the pepperoni. He really liked his pizza that we ordered one XL to go for daddy and his big brother. He looks forward having this same pizza for dinner. The bread was pretty plain tasting in my opinion but you are able to savor the tomato sauce and cheese which in my opinion is a good thing but some might think differently. The young lady at the cashier was friendly. The chef was nice as well. They kept our pizza heated until we were ready to go.

Great service. Huge portions. Pizza and pasta is yummy. The wings, garlic knots and mozzarella sticks are excellent. Great place for lunch for the family. Look forward to coming back.

This is my 2^nd time having this pizza and I gave yet to be disappointed. My husband and I come here for lunch since it’s not too far from work.
First let’s talk about the fantastic deal, 2 slices of pizza for $ 5, I mean come on, can’t beat that. Second, they are very friendly and acomodating. And third and most important the pizza is really good. I am a born and raised Bronx girl and know what good pizza is supposed to taste like. This pizza has all the elements, thin, foldable crust. Just the right amount of sauce. Cheese just stretchy (is that a word) enough and no greasy messs.
You can either have fountain drinks or cans, on this occasion I went with the fountain Orange Fanta, and it actually tasted like an orange Fanta. For dessert, cannoli, big, tasty, crunchy shell, sweet cream and drizzled with chocolate.
The only negative, now I have to get back to work!

Hot wings and New york style pizza. I crave their hot wings every few weeks. I order the 10 or 15 piece «hot» wings all for myself with a side of blue cheese and ranch dressing and I get the wings extra crispy. The new york style, super thin crust pizza is made just like the kinda of pizza you would find in New York City.
The prices are really reasonable. At lunch two slices of cheese pizza with a soda for $ 5.00 and the slices are huge!
I would recommend calling in about 20 minutes before you’re ready to pick up.

I have to say, I really expected more from this place based on reviews and name alone.
I came here on a Sunday and ordered the 2 slice combo and a calzone that was split between my son and I. They weren’t busy and the food came out relatively quick. The pizza crust was nice and thin, but really lacked flavor. The calzone was the same. The cheese filing was very bland.
If you come here, you are paying for a cheap $ 5 lunch special, but do not expect it tasting like New York pizza. Also, there are no refills on the soda as they are cans. I would also suggest a remodel, as the tacky New York theme needs a refresh. The only cool thing there was a mural of the NYC skyline.
