ZERO stars but I guess Unilocal makes me give them one! Overpriced. Technical service is horrible.

We’ve never had an issue with Brighthouse in Tampa or Sarasota but I have to say Orlando is the WORST! Do yourself a favor — Get Dish! Not only was our technician TERRIBLE! He lied about all of the cable outlets working in the house along with our package. When you pay $ 170/month you expect to receive your channels and your TV to work when you turn on the cable. Why should I go they the entire house and check all the lines, because Brighthouse tech that came to our house was the absolute WORST. We had no problem writing out the initial payment but tell your customers. And have your technicians identify themselves with proper attire.

One of the things I loathe doing is dealing with the Bright House customer service department. TODAY was NOEXCEPTION! I needed to return 2 digital to analog converters because Bright House gave them to me free to allow 2TV’s we rarely use access to cable. I have not turned on either of those TV’s in at least 6 months. Back in December they started charging a monthly fee for those«FREE» boxes. It is only $ 2.00 per month per box but that is still an extra $ 24 per year for something I am not using. Since my wife has automated the payment of the bills, I will admit I rarely even look at them. Well today I discovered that for the SAME service I signed on with them in 2010, my monthly bill has inched up from about $ 100 to $ 170 per month. After I turned in the boxes I asked what plans they have since we really only watch a handful of shows and catch the rest on Netflix when we have time. Our needs are pretty basic or so I thought. Well they have the channel lineups set to that to get the 2 or three channels you actually want, you are forced into their«Premier» package. They upgraded all the people in our area to the 75MB internet so NOW you have to give up 50MB of data to drop down on their data plan and I could give up the home phone IF the cell service in this area was not so spotty. If I gave up the home phone, then they take you out of the«Bundle» and just charge more ala carte. Well being unhappy with what I was told, they gave me a whopping $ 10 per month discount. So the only reason they gave me a discount was because I complained? Hmmmm Really??? Of course I called U Verse from AT&T and compared their plans in great detail. By the time I made sure I had an equivalent plan, It was $ 140+tax. The ONLY two places I can call in MY area for Cable, Internet and VOIP phone service have priced their plans so closely you don’t really have much of a choice. I now remember why I let the wife take over paying the bills because I guess I would rather not know just how badly I am getting screwed over by BHN. At least Bubba would have given me a kiss before sticking it to me! SIGH

People here are more interested in selling services than trying to fix or help customers… I don’t like brighthouse service at all… but the people are nice…

Here we go again, we had a bad remote, went and got another remote, and iit had the same problem as the first even worse. Had to have them come out and check out dvr, it was the remote again at least this one worked. It appears all they do is repackage the returns with a sealed plastic bag without testing. I know people that picked up their DVR and it still had someones shows programmed on it. Really no service, we were offline for four days. I am sure they have a procedure they don’t follow, or just don’t care that you have to drive miles for bad equipment.

this company is terrible!!! i will be making post on every review website possible since no one in your company has any clue how manage!!! 1. i called 3 times each call took over 30 minutes. 2. the 3 rd time i called with a bill for equipment that i was told could be returned in the next couple of weeks, no explanation why this was even on my bill! 3. it took me 22 minutes to reach a manager 4. i was put on hold the first time when i demanded to speak with a representative and then after waiting on hold i was then told all the managers were busy… then i was put on hold again. 5. once i got a manager after being on hold on the phone, the managers name is raman(66620), she could not even repeat my concerns back to me because she was clearly not listening. 6. then after all was said and done… after 30 minutes they needed my email that is on file to confirm that my services will be canceled after being on the phone for the 3rd time in the past week. 7. yes, i was extremely upset! and i still am! but i am charged for a box i just canceled because it doesn’t even work, then it takes 3 – 4 different calls to get the service stopped on the correct date. then the managers are too busy to talk. then the agents want you to be polite don’t think so! this review will be posted on anything i can think off. thanks for the shitty service!
