After 3 days of no A/​C, and botched attempts to schedule an appointment with the big boys, a competitor recommended I call DC/​AC to get my system looked at. Man was I glad I did. Brent (owner) and Devon (employee) showed up at the time they said they would, shocker I know. He was quick and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions honestly and truthfully. Would definitely use DC/​AC for any future HVAC needs. Thanks Brent!

Can’t say enough about Brent, the owner of DC-​AC. He could have easily made a big job out of my a/​c unit not working properly, but instead, said all it needed was to be flushed. He flushed it out, showed me how to avoid clogs in the future, checked the freon levels and charged the service call fee. That was it! In these times, it is so refreshing to have an honest, dependable, on time service technician.. If ever I or anyone else I know needs a/​c service, he’s my only choice!

It’s very easy for ac repair people to take advantage of you. I was worried that they were going to tell me I need a new unit or that the repair would be thousands of dollars. I’ve had multiple horror experiences with AC & heat «repairmen». From people who were either ripoffs (like Del-​Air who try to rape u on $) to people who don’t return calls, and people with no license and think they «know» what they are doing. They messed my unit so badly.
So I was completely jaded and scoured google and Unilocal to find reviews on a good and reliable expert.
I asked God couldn’t there be just one honest, trustworthy and dependable AC master in the city of Orlando?
I found him. His name is Brent and even his repairmen are first class.
They did everything they could to undo the mess others left behind and fixed my AC and heater.
Recently I was out of town and the owner Brent himself came and took care of my mom while I was gone when we had a AC issue and he did it pro bono. Classy guy.
If u are reading this don’t hesitate to call him. And if you are a fan of apparently the only honest and reliable AC expert in Orlando, write a review like me and help others find good old fashioned help and service.

These guys have done several jobs for us at a couple different houses, ranging from an elaborate move of an air handler from an attic to a garage + re-​ducting, to a simple installation of a Nest thermostat (made slightly less simple by a broken wire when we removed the original thermostat — WHY are the wires behind thermostats always so freakin’ short?) and they are always prompt to return calls, on time for appointments, professional and competent, and reasonably priced. One of the very few contractors I don’t hesitate to recommend.

These guys are GREAT! They came out and had our AC fixed after part of it literally exploded in one day. The repairman actually stayed far after hours to ensure that our AC was up and running that same day so we wouldn’t have to suffer in the heat. The owner was the one who did our estimate/​initial consultation and he was absolutely wonderful — he was very friendly and taught us so much about our AC and what happened to it. He also made sure we got the best prices available on parts for it AND verified that the part which needed replaced was still under warranty — so we got it replaced for free whereas other places tried to quote us a price to replace it instead of checking to see if it’s warrantied. (Just a note here, we only bought the house two years ago so we didn’t really know for sure what was under warranty and what wasn’t.)
On top of that, the phone service was friendly and fast, and their prices are GREAT! Better than any other AC company we called in central FL! I have held on to some of their cards and share them every chance I get. Couldn’t speak highly enough of this company.
