Just a regular publix! They are often on the expensive side but their food quality is top notch and their two for one special is awesome. I feel like this Publix has one of the best pharmacies that I have been to in this area. The pharmacy staff at Eastwood often seem rude and disorganized.

My favorite grocery store when I come to Florida. Great produce, great seafood, meats, international products. Prices are ok. Convenient.

I ordered some meat for a big party I was having the next day. It was going to be the centerpiece of the buffet table. After confirming the day after I ordered that it was coming, I come the day and time I said I was going to pick it up and the guy(he was the one I ordered from) that was there said that they cut it and sold it. There was just a small piece left. Unfortunately, I needed a big slab of meat that unless you order it, you won’t get it whole. It was a big letdown for us and the guests who were looking forward to it. This was the closest Publix for me but I think I’m going to drive all the way to Corner Lakes to get what I want.

One of the best Publix in all the land! The store is always clean, staff super friendly and helpful, layout is perfect, and completely stocked at all times. I’m very lucky to be able to call this my neighborhood store!

Great Publix. Love coming here to shop. Always clean and have what I need in stock. If they don’t carry it you can special order it. My only complaint is the fruit and veggies are usually either rotten or do t last too long after buying.

I usually shop this store at odd hours like 10am on a Tuesday so might not have the friendly faces when the managers aren’t around. Publix’s associates are very helpful at this store but some of the cashiers are definitely not friendly. For a grocery store, the experience is still good but compares to other Publix stores… just an ok experience.

I briefly had to run into Publix to return a gift I received. I didn’t have the receipt so I wasn’t sure if I could return it but the lady said she could(Brittany, I think). I’ve never been to the Avalon Park Publix and I thought it was a nice little place! But when I was returning, I felt like I was treated as if I was a criminal since I didn’t have a receipt. It left me feeling uncomfortable. I would have preferred being told that they couldn’t have returned the product versus making me feel like I should leave the store. Although I plan to visit Avalon Park again, I definitely will not be going back to that Publix.

Hands down THEBEST Publix in the area! I know the store’s layout and everyone working there is so nice and helpful. Love the BOGO’s they have each week. We are very lucky to have this Publix in our community. :)

I’m the type of person who would rather drive a bit further and shop at a really great grocery store than a sub-par one that happens to be closer. Thankfully, Avalon Park’s Publix is just a few minutes away — despite there being another grocery store much closer. The quality of the meats, fish and produce here always impresses us. What really sells us on this place though, is the customer service. Everyone is really nice and helpful, but there are a number of employees that seem to love what they do, take pride in their job and really go out of their way for you. The employees at the fish counter, in particular, have come to recognize us and remember our preferences and help make suggestions based on them. The cashiers are always very polite and do their best to keep the lines moving. They keep enough registers open to make sure there is never a line more than two or three deep. If you’ve got a sizable amount of groceries, the baggers will usually ask if you need help to the car. The bathrooms here are kept spotless, and any small spills in the aisles are promptly cleaned up. If they don’t carry exactly what you’re looking for, the manager will order it for you — and sometimes they’ll just start carrying it normally. If I had any single complaint, it would be regarding the recent addition of the«premium» level of meats. What used to be the regularly awesome cuts of meat are now«premium» — and the prices have increased. You can still get non-premium, but those cuts tend to be of lower quality than what they used to always carry. Honestly, I have no idea why any one would shop anywhere other than Publix as their regular grocery store.

As a former Michigan and Indiana resident, I genuinely believe that Florida residents have no clue as to how good they have it. Publix is hands-down one of the best grocery stores in the country. Besides the fact they have all kinds of wonderful prepared food, they have a really friendly staff that makes each trip to the grocery store pleasant. My favorite trip to publix is one in which I am going to be buying a full boar’s head Italian sub on the Parmesan and Garlic bread. The meat is always fresh and the bread baked in house. Honestly, I rarely consider eating subs elsewhere. Also, the chicken options are all really awesome. Fried chicken and rotisserie are both delicious. I would challenge another Unilocaler to message me with a better chicken tender in the Orlando area. All in all, shopping at Publix has been one of the best parts about living in Florida.
