A downtown Orlando institution. It’s certainly cleaner and more modern since Casey left — gone is the never-ending bathroom graffiti, and the single 13-inch TV. The tables have a slightly less amount of stick. But, the drinks are still strong, they still have live music as often as possible, and it’s on one of the liveliest corners in all of downtown Orlando. There’s no brunch, or early hours — just a classic dive bar. A good place to start the night, or finish it off. They have a decent beer selection — but really, you should be here for a cocktail. A standard drink is essentially a double(so don’t order doubles). If you’re a regular, you’ll probably get your drink in a pint glass. Despite how overwhelmingly busy it can get, the service is really good. Sit outside or inside, and you will have a waitress. The corner table by the entrance on Central gives you a panoramic of all the coming’s of going’s of most anyone out and about. The bartenders are pros, so a little patience with some eye contact and they’ll get to you — I promise. Decent live music — usually an indie vibe.

The small corner bar with the big glass windows, right across the street from the History Center. Live music every night from 10pm — 1am. The friendliest pour for blocks, w/actual glassware — strong local clientele, adults over 30 actually hangout here. Bring ID, I don’t care how old you look, or how many kids you have — hang out w/any frequency and they will remember you.

First of all, let me reiterate I do not sponsor neither Caseys, or any bar downtown. But upon arriving to Casey I was warmly welcomed by Holly. She poured my drink perfectly, but not only that; she gave me the best customer service I have ever received from any bar downtown. If you ever are downtown, please visit this place, live music every day, and an excellent bar staff. I will become a permanent bar patron here.

If you are downtown, it’s kind of mandatory that you spend some time at Casey’s. It’s just what you do in Orlando. It is everything a bar should be with none of the nonsense that most bars tend to be. Casey’s is your comfy pj’s. Your worn in slippers. Your gay best friend and your confession booth. Just trust me. It’s really great. Like, REALLY great.

After enjoying Sunday brunch at Big Easy Cajun Kitchen, we decided to visit this cute little corner bar. We are new to the area. When we asked the server at the Big Easy to recommend any other places downtown to try — they were quick to recommend their neighbor. We had to try this cute place with lots of chalkboards with cute sayings. This bar had a large group of upper class patrons. The outside seating is cozy and great for people watching. It is a nice place to socialize and chill. Very casual. A nice compliment to the fun bar next door. We plan to come back and visit again to hear the live acoustic music offered nightly.

Great bar. Great atmosphere. The drinks are basic, but strong, and you’re guaranteed to have a good time. There’s live music and a popcorn machine with free popcorn. Casey’s is the definition of a no-frills dive bar. If you’re downtown and looking for a good, traditional dive bar, check out Casey’s!

If you’re looking for a strong drink in a dive-ish bar atmosphere with free popcorn and good live music, you’ve found your spot. It can be overcrowded at times but the bartenders and servers always seem to get to everyone. The crowd can be a strange mix where me, a 30 something, can either feel right at home or completely over the hill.

I stopped in last night(a Thursday) for the first time and I can assure you I’ll be back! The service is amazing. My bartender was so friendly and cheerful, it really made a great impression on not just him, but the bar itself. They have a colorful and well-written chalkboard that lists some of their drink selections to the right when you walk in. I sat outside under their awning and I was still able to hear the live band which was really nice. I will definitely be coming back to this location again especially now I know that they give out free popcorn! WIN!

just order a regular drink. It comes as a double. They are known for stiff drinks. An orlando staple. Good for starting or ending your night. Great service. Live music nightly and the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching!

Strong drinks. Free popcorn. Great people watching. Casey’s is never a disappointment. Bonus points if it’s a night that they have live music to jam along to while enjoying your drink. Be warned, this place can get crowded! But the atmosphere is so fun even someone as insanely claustrophobic as myself doesn’t really mind it here.

i had a few hours to kill in orlando so i decided to find a bar, grab a beer and hopefully get some free entertainment. thats exactly what happened. caseys is a bit divey and it seems like it has some loyal clients. the evening i was there there was a guy playing covers on his acoustic guitar. the bartender was nice and chatty and prices are good compared to miami beach standards. overall positive experience, i wonder what this place is like on a weekend evening! free pop corn at all times. yikes!

Great staff, live music nightly. Koozies and popcorn with flavor seasonings. What more could you ask for along with sticky floors and all kinds of various fun people.

The bouncer very forcefully grabbed and bruised my arm last night after failing to adequately voice his desire to see my ID(I’m 32 btw). This was a rude and unneccesary assault. I don’t know why people insist on continuing to frequent this dive. The tiny space is always packed and deafeningly loud.

Good drinks and free popcorn. What more do you want?! Get the shine bomb: strawberry moonshine shot dropped into a half glass of angry orchard. Finish the night off with their free popcorn with a variety of shaken flavors(ranch, cheddar, etc)

This is one of my favorite bars downtown to just hangout and have some drinks with friends. Live music. Free popcorn. Generously poured drinks for a very reasonable price. The End.

Walking around, looking for a good place to hang out for the night, we hear some good music coming from Casey’s so we decided to check it out. Small bar, laid back, very casual, and a good list of beers and moonshine titled«Crafts, Drafts and Shines» on the blackboard, plus full bar. We sat at the bar and Todd, out bartender, immediately took our order. 4 strong, filled to the top drinks for about $ 23 is a good deal. I looked at the moonshine menu and after talking to our bartender, decided on the Strawberry one. He takes out this mason jar and pours generously into a short glass. Taste is sweet, I can definitely taste strawberry, and the alcohol… I do not recommend having more than one of these, I think this would creep up and, although it might contribute to a fun night, I don’t know what the morning would feel like. So, trying to avoid that I took just that one and stuck to my other drink. The bar is good for meeting people, music is not so loud that you can’t talk, plus, like I said, the environment is so casual, and laid back, it just invites you make new friends. There’s also some room for dancing. If I lived in the area I would see myself coming here often.

Lots of great reviews here, but… I don’t know, I’m just not a fan. Maybe I’m over the types of places that serve cheap, off-brand liquor in those translucent plastic dixie cups. Where every surface, from the bar to the tables to the floor, is always sticky. Where the entire place always smells like that disgusting industrial cleaner that the bars on Church St. use to wash out all of the herpes and barf. You know the stuff — and if you don’t, walk down the strip on Church St one day. The bars don’t even have to be open, you can smell it from fifty paces. Anyway, it smells like that in Casey’s. They’re dog friendly, which is good, but I would never bring my dog there.

Been going to this place for a little while. They serve drinks and have music shows at night. The music shows are great and the drinks too. Thursday nights are known as Martini Thursdays: drink 12 martinis and the 13th one is free. Shirt swap Sundays are a blast. This is when the patrons exchange shirts with each other in a gesture of friendship and mutual admiration.

Staff is always nice and remember your drink! Friday happy hour has free food catered in. It’s different every week and always delicious! They have a home-infused«moonshine’ that they claim is 100+ proof, that while tasty, I don’t believe is that strong. I’ve had 3 and not really felt them. They have free popcorn! Nice when you want something to pick on. The bar top is also really cool
