Nice high end restaurant, I’m spoiled. Lovely resort, delightful atmosphere! Jeff’s BD date night. I ordered Hawk Wedge, it was OK, not the worse not the best. French Onion soup decent. Lobster Mac & Cheese decent. Jeff ordered Filet he enjoyed. Everything was OK! Bread was delicious! Overall OK but too pricey for the quality!

Ok so you cone to Orlando and want an exceptional meal… then you realize your in Orlando… if your at the Marriott and want a good meal then this place works. If you want a top Steakhouse then go anywhere but Orlando.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Hawk’s Landing tonight. We had an excellent, knowledgeable, and deferential server, and the bus staff was also very good. The steaks were enormous, 14 – 18 oz, so it made sense to split the dishes and cut the $ 54 – 60 charges in half. The rib-eye was delicious, tender, though not as butter-soft as Ruth’s Chris, but much tastier. The vegetables were additional, but these $ 10 sides were enormous. We shared two, but could not finish either, so a single side between two would have been adequate. The buttered brussels sprouts tasted so good, better than any that I have roasted and seasoned at home. The baked potato was the largest I’ve ever seen, 2 to 3 times the size of the usual potato. The French onion soup was superb, sweet presumably with sherry but with some other seasoning I could not identify but enhanced the flavour, best I’ve ever eaten. The bread– warm, fresh cheddar popovers– were so good I took a doggy bag home. This is a restaurant I would visit again and again.

I was leery about a resort steakhouse, but we had little choice for an onsite customer dinner. We arrived early at 6:15 to an empty restaurant and were very nervous about our decision, but at this point it was too late. When the customer’s arrived we were quickly sat and Milan(our waiter) came to our table. He was a card! Very funny and had a lot of stories. At first we didn’t know what to think of him, but as dinner progressed we really enjoyed his service. Most of us had the cowgirl ribeye, per Milan’s suggestion, and we couldn’t have been happier. The steak was cooked perfectly and the meat quality was fantastic. The appetizers were also very good. This place is not cheap, but why would it be as the only high end steakhouse at the resort. However, I would say it is well worth the money!

I stayed at the Orlando World Marriott during a convention. All of the restaurants were busy, but Hawk’s Landing was the most quiet. I ate at the bar and Patti was my server. She was personable and knowledgeable re: the menu. They have a nice wine selection. I started with the wedge salad which was a bit smaller than what I’m used to, but good. I followed that with the scallops and a half order of the creamed spinach a gratin. The scallops were fresh and perfectly cooked. The spinach was served in a cast iron skillet and was very good.

I found my $ 54 ny strip over cooked I requested medium/rare 2 guests steaks were improperly cooked as well 1 guest requested to have there’s recooked being very hungry I and my other guest just let it go however a manager of course asked was everything ok to which I voiced my opinion of being over cooked and she offered to re cook we didn’t accept however if we had been offered another way of redemption we might’ve accepted but no other offers were made not happy we opted out of having dessert and drinks and left very disappointed and not satisfied with my $ 195 tab and $ 40 gratuity which would have been considerably more had we enjoyed the meal

Great Time with friends and Family they were happy to serve 6 at 9:40 and didn’t bat an eye. Our server Sam was warm and friendly and welcoming and recommended great choices to accompany our meal. The chef Ramon Ramos cooked a perfect rib eye and the Lobster mac and cheese was to die for, also one of the best cheese cakes with a raspberry compote I’ve tasted since Juniors in Brooklyn, definitely recommend.

Typical steakhouse, not bad but nothing great. Came in on a Saturday night while staying at the hotel for a conference. Food was just ok. French onion soup was too sweet, overly hot when served and not flavorful. We did enjoy the oysters. Tomatoes with burrata were crunchy and flavorless. Wouldn’t recommend. Would note that server is what was impressive and deserves 5 stars. Server, Sam, extremely attentive and truly great.

Horribly slow service. Sat down and took over an hour and 45 mins to get our food. Never coming back again.

The food is pretty good, but the management of this restaurant whores itself out to the almighty dollar by hosting corporate events during dinner hours. Corporate events that take over half of the restaurant’s open-space interior. Half the restaurant may be reserved for fine dining, but the other half is filled with standees talking at a decibel level that exceeds that of an airline engine running at full speed. Since the adjacent hotel is filled with empty meeting rooms available for evening cocktail receptions, one would think that the hotel would maximize F&B revenues by having the corporate receptions there. That would permit fine dining at a noise level conducive to the quality of the food served here. But they don’t. Diner beware.

So this was my first time dining at Hawk’s and I must say Ieft very satisfied! Although it can be a little pricey, it is magical dining month making this three course meal much more affordable. Our waiter Jon V. was amazing! Very nice and attentive! For starters, I had a lump crab cake and a colossal shrimp cocktail. The presentation made it look too good to eat! I had the filet done medium well and it literally melted in my mouth. We had sides of spinach gratinee and garlic roasted mashed potatoes. For dessert a slice of cheesecake with a raspberry sauce paired with a sweet dessert wine. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back!

I dined at Hawks Landing due to staying at the Marriott in which it is attached too. Since I am in town for a conference held in the hotel, and do not have a rental car, I am sticking to the hotel restaurants. During my decade + of extensive travels I am not going to consider price against them. When opting to dine at a steakhouse over looking a golf course in a resort hotel 2 miles from Disney World $$$$$ is a give in. I arrived at 6 pm when they opened and was promptly seated. I was seated at a table with a window view of the golf course and gorgeous pond with water feature. My waiter was very knowledgable, prompt, curtious, yet with a down to earth personality and good sense of humor. First he delivered the best bread starter I have ever had. It appeared to be a muffin at first but was the most flaky, light, and airy roll I have ever tasted. Great taste and accompanied with a fresh butter pad which is not too hard and not too soft. I also enjoyed the professionalism of my waiter as he notified me of the portion sizes. The sides and deserts are served family style. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and a side of asparagus. My oysters came six fried oysters on top of creamed spinach on the half shell. There was also a dab of cream sauce, such as hollandaise, on top. Different from other Oysters Rockefeller yet just as wonderfull. My side of asparagus came with family portion of jumbo asparagus perfectly cooked with hollandaise sause. I was so full from dinner I had to order dessert to go. I ordered a slice of key lime pie which could easily over stuff a table of 2 if they weren’t stuffed already. My slice of key lime pie came as huge as described. Not so wide as it is long. It fills most of a dinner sized plate and it is served with berries. From the wine, to the starter, to the entrée, and service, I cannot say one bad thing about this place. Had I known it was this good I would have not wasted my time last night at the Italian restaurant near the lobby.

Was not impressed with the service and had to have the manager come over twice to honor the resort discounts. Of course she didn’t take it off our final bill. Won’t be going in there ever again!

Let me just start off by saying 50 dollars for a steak that is over cooked and flavorless should be a crime. My family is staying at the Marriott Resort that it connected to for a basketball tournament. After along day of games and considering it was pretty late at night(8 ish) we decided to try the nicer steak house walking distance from where we were staying. We sat down and ordered beverages and waited for the rest of our group to come(2 people were still coming from there room) and all was fine and good. Come time for appetizers the entire mood shifted. My father specifically asked if the sea food app. For 2 was served hot or not, and the waiter responded that it was served warm. So he orders it and sure enough the tray was on ice. It’s just annoying to ask a question and then be lied to when they tray was 45 dollars. On top of that my dad said that the seafood was some of the worst quality he was ever had. For entrees I ordered that filet medium well(I like a pink center) and it came completely well done and my grandparents ordered there’s medium and it was completely rare. There was so congruency with the cool times/temperature. My steak was also just not tasty. Most nicer steak houses usually serve steak with some sort of seasoning or butter, not Hawks landing. My younger sister got the petite filet off the kids menu and it didn’t even look like the right cut. It was thin and looked grey. Quality should never lack just because it’s the kids portion. Now here is why it got 1 star: When we got the check we had the option of either putting it on the room or paying it off right then. My dad put his card in the check and waited for it to return(keep in mind it’s like 10:30 now and everyone is tired and ready to go). After getting the check back and tipping out waiter we walk out and go to the hotel. Before getting to our room we had the waiter run after us saying we didn’t pay for out meal. Uhm excuse me? It was annoying, and unprofessional for him to accuse us not paying. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

I dined here during a convention because of convenience, but I was very happy with my meal. I ordered a rare filet and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The flaky and cheesy croissants they serve with the meal were addicting. The crabcake appetizer was a perfect size and they didn’t skimp on the delicious lump crab. The only part of the meal I could’ve done without was the bearnaise sauce I ordered(at $ 5 extra), it didn’t really add anything to the meat that was already so perfectly cooked. Our server Roman was excellent – attentive and gracious without being overbearing. There was a small wait on our wine and he brought us two glasses of Prosecco on the house while we waited – what a wonderful touch. Hawk’s Landing is pricey and definitely better with an expense account, but the ambiance and food is worth it. (Dined 6÷6÷14)

It’s a steakhouse… steakhouses are expensive. If you come to a steakhouse expecting a bargain, you should probably just go to Golden Corral and stop kidding yourself. That said, this was worth the money. Definitely better on an expense account but if you’re looking for some grown-up time and a grown-up meal, I strongly recommend Hawk’s…Go for the porterhouse or bone-in sirloin and don’t miss out on the andouille sausage-grits and start with the bacon… I might go 4−½ stars if Unilocal would let me – the bacon is worth at least a half-star all on its own.

Milan was the best server we’ve had in a long time! Thank you for the wonderful visit. We started with the smoked bacon appetizer. It is very decadent and a must try for any bacon lover. I had the special which was sea bass. It was perfect. My husband had the bone-in filet and was quite pleased. I would add that although we had our kids with us, we were not made to feel unwelcome like some fine dining restaurants do when you bring the family. Milan even went out of his way to accommodate my picky eater. All in all, a great dining experience.

The food was very good. A group of friends went for the magical dining menu as we had not tried them previously. The price of the cocktails was outrageous. Not one under $ 20. They accidentally charged our credit cards twice. The atmosphere was more like a business setting restaurant rather than an upscale restaurant. I definitely would not come again as the entrees were pricey in comparison to other higher end places in the area

I have to come to Orlando every year for an annual conference, and overall, find this place to be business-recent. It’s not my top«go to» restaurant in the Marriott, but I didn’t have a choice as my favorite Italian restaurant was closed(for remodeling). Overall, Hawk’s Landing is an expensive steak or seafood dinner, but they do a really classy job. Some of the servers are very friendly, some are more aloof… so it can vary by night. Overall, the steaks are great, as are the scallops. Don’t expect to walk out with a bill for less than $ 50 – 70, however. Great for business meetings, as it’s relatively classy and professional. Good in that it is typically quiet enough to hold a conversation. Relatively good service and good food, but at a cost!
