Jimmy John’s

I ordered JJ while hosting an event at the UCF softball field. I waited 45 min to receive my food (which has never happened at this location — normally only takes 15 min), and when it arrived, I was missing a drink and given the wrong sandwich. To remedy the situation, they sent a complimentary cookie along with my missing drink, and then sent a separate runner right away with my correct sandwich and my money back. Not thrilled with the time I had to wait and the issues with the order but I think they made a great decision by refunding me so I’ll give them 3 three stars.

Whenever I come here or order from here I get the beach club. It’s hands down my favorite sub from here!
–The Beach Club– has turkey, provolone, avocado (spread), cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. It may sound pretty simple but it’s really refreshing and not heavy. It’s great when studying or when you’re just feeling hungry.
The subs/​clubs from here are all filling and great. I think what really makes them amazing is the really soft and delicious French bread that they make the clubs with.
My only issue with this jimmy johns is that the employees can be a little rude sometimes when you go in the store (the delivery guys are always nice).
When I was last here I noticed that there was a trash can swarming with bees right outside of the door. So we went and told the employee at the register who said «I know… There’s nothing we can do» in a very rude and angry tone. I should probably add that the double doors to the restaurant were wide open.
Later into my meal I noticed that there was a bee repeatedly hitting the glass window trying to go back outside. Only to see another bee fly in and fly under my table (I was sitting at the furthest point from the doors along the glass windows). I didn’t pay any attention to the bee that flew under the table but a few seconds later I felt something going up the leg of my pants… A BEE!
I stayed calm and shook my leg gently waiting for the bee to fly out. Luckily they did and I didn’t hurt them (and they didn’t hurt me). After the bee flew out I noticed that there were around 7 dead bees below my table.
WHAT?! I wasn’t even sitting close to the entrance. The sadder part was that the bees that flew in were trying to carry out the bodies of the dead bees but couldn’t.
I was enraged at the sight of this. Not only because if I had been allergic to bees and stung I could’ve gone into anaphylaxis (I have two friends who are UCF students and allergic to bee stings). But also because there were dead bees on the floor, and they weren’t just under my table.
My fiancé went up to the employees and told them all about what just happened and you know what they said? «There is nothing we can do.» How about closing the doors that are wide open?! It can’t be that hard to close two doors (that’s how the bees are flying in). Plus it’s blistering hot outside and the A/​C is blasted trying to keep up with how hot it is.
They honestly need to get smarter employees who can think critically and close doors. Someone could get stung and I honesty feel bad that all those bees were dying because they couldn’t get out.
Overall, I don’t see myself coming back here anytime. I’ll go to another jimmy johns before I think to come to this one. I love jimmy johns but

They are always freaky fast and they get my order right. I think they don’t deliver to my area anymore, so there isn’t any JJ that delivers to my area anymore. I’m so upset about that.

Just wanted to give these guys five stars for being an ultra friendly crew no matter what time it is. Yeah, they’re ‘just’ regular deli sandwiches, but I still enjoy getting them from here… because, by golly the people that work here are friendly!

It was good. Only problem I had was that I took a whole team there and asked because it was a large order if we could have free soda– the guy told me no he would have to run it buy management. Dude are you serious? Then I thought maybe it was because of cups and asked if we could have water cups and the girls have soda– nope. He would have to ask management. That I couldn’t believe. Is Jimmy Johns really that cheap? Kind of disappointing.

Great subs and extremely fast delivery. They aren’t open as late as most are for some reason though, which is strange considering it’s right by the largest college in Florida.
Imagine how much more money the owner could make if he stayed open till at least 2 am.

The quickest high-​quality subshop around! Kudos to your awesome team for amazing service and good subs at reasonable prices. Your delivery system is a ¹²⁄₁₀ with your quickness.

I must start by saying if this was strictly based off the food I would give it 10 000 stars. The Beach Club on French bread was to die for. With that being said the service was lacking immensely.
I enjoy being greeted when I come in especially if myself and my two friends are the only people in the establishment but I was welcomed by not one worker of the 4.
A smile and some personality with the order taking process definitely wouldn’t hurt either.
On top of the previously noted flaws within the first few moments of my visit here they forgot to make my friends food.
She sat and waited… And waited… And waited some more until finally she asked what happened and all the guy at the counter said was «oh I didn’t see it»…
Not before or after the sandwich was made did anyone apologize for the wait it unsatisfactory service we were given.
It’s honestly a shame that such an amazing selection of sandwiches is made by such rude and careless kids.

Love Jimmy John’s! The subs are all the same length but you won’t go hungry. I add the peppers to every sub.

In my experience, this Jimmy John’s is the original Jimmy John’s. Because I was living across the street (Tower III) when this store opened, my opinion may be SLIGHTLY biased. However, I just recently revisited this Jimmy John’s the last time I was on the UCF campus and it is still one of my favorites for a few reasons.
Reason #1: The workers enthusiastically greet you as soon as you walk in the door. I had almost forgotten this was a «Jimmy John’s thing» until I walked in the door of this UCF location and got yelled at. While it may be unsettling if you’ve never been there before, personally I think it livens up the atmosphere and gets you pumped to eat a delicious sandwich.
Reason #2 (applies to all JJ locations): They play satellite radio in the store, and it is usually always on an upbeat, fun station. Particularly on the UCF campus, it is always a plus to hear college rock radio.
Reason #3 (also applies to all JJ locations): Fast service. As a few other Unilocalers have pointed out, JJ prides themselves on being fast. And you would think that after having been to several of them, this wouldn’t always be the case. Wrong – it’s still such fast service that it blows your mind. Faster than fastfood, even. Also, gotta love their equally fast delivery until all hours of the morning.
Reason #4: The Beach Club. Enough said.

I’ve been wanting to try Jimmy John’s since I’ve some heard good things. I must say I was not impressed. Ordering was quick and my sandwich was made fast but it was a let down. I thought for the price it should be more substantial. In fact, the sandwich consisted mostly of bread. The bread was thick cut and good but it came with just a hint of turkey, lettuce, two teeny tiny tomato slices and sprouts. I didn’t know tomatoes came that small! I’m not a big fan or Subway or Quiznos either. Firehouse still blows away all three of these other chains!

I love this place, because it’s really convenient and quick. And, although the vegan options are lacking, if you get the veggie sandwich sans cheese and mayo, it’s pretty good!

Very quick service… My sandwich is usually ready by the time I fill up my fountain drink. I always order the Beach Club (#12) because it’s awesome… turkey, provolone, avocado, cucumber. Mmmmmm.
I have also ordered a party tray from this location (for a UCF football tailgate). They even offered to deliver to our tailgate! (though I picked it up since we were close enough).
This location is attached to the Arena. Metered street parking is FREE during lunch time (11am to 2pm).
