Jon’s Dry Cleaner & Laundry

This guy is a blatant Bigot and Racist. He is disrespectful to his staff and they do a poor job. Need I say more.
Avoid this place at all costs.

Jon’s dry cleaning business is terrible! I brought a wedding dress to get cleaned, and after 3 months and 2 visits into the shop he still didn’t have it cleaned. While in there two other people had incidents about their dry cleaning not being cleaned properly. Jon is very rude!
Asked for a refund and I couldn’t get one from the ladies at the front desk (she was pleasant) Told me to come back and talk to the owner…

I wish there was a zero star option. They are not only the worst at keeping up with clothes, and not ruining clothes, but when they do lose or ruin something, they can’t bring themselves to apologize. I literally just got attitude from the lady who answered the phone because THEY cannot find my shirt 2 months later. and btw, I paid for the lost shirt to be cleaned. NO REFUND. zero stars.

I wish I would have gone to Unilocal before dropping my Anthropologie comforter off here for cleaning. I came back to pick up my comforter and when I put it on my bed I saw that it has been completely ruined. All of the stitching was torn out and the batting was bunched up and shoved in the corners. I called the cleaners and it took Jon a week to get back to me. This week turned into 8 weeks as he told me it was a «defective» comforter and he dry cleaned it when he actually just threw it in a washer. Jon gave me his personal number and made numerous promises that he would call at certain times and he never did. He even HUNG UP on me after one of his deadlines because he said he was eating breakfast. I eventually talked on the phone with his girlfriend Tiffany and she was extremely polite. I am still waiting on this «refund» they have promised me but I won’t be holding my breath. If you truly value your belongings do not take them here.

This man is a jerk. I use the gym next to the cleaners, so I had gotten this vibe from him just from seeing him around, but I didn’t realize how bad he really is. I walked in his store out of connivence to have a dress dry cleaned for a wedding the following weekend. As I’m waking in his employee walked out of the back screaming «Stop treating me like a little B&@$?.» He brushed it off saying she was joking. No one was laughing.
I go in to pick it up my dress two days later, and he says they had a pipe burst and it is not ready, but do not fear, I’ll deliver the dress to you this afternoon and there will be no cost! So, I wait and I get a call that afternoon telling me that he will deliver it the morning of the wedding between 9:30 & 10:00. Well, here it is after 10 and no sign of Jon. He gave me his cell number which I’ve called about 15 times in the last 20 minutes and it just rings, not even a voice mail. If you read other reviews about Jon’s, you’ll see I’m not the only one with this problem. I’d like to give him zero stars! Now excuse me while I come up with a plan b wedding outfit!

I had been a customer over 8 years and spent nearly $ 1,200 annually in dry cleaning. I sent a color block jacket in along with the matching skirt to be cleaned. When I picked up the jacket it was no longer black and white color block but grey. No mention by Jon that it was ruined! He just slipped it in with the other clothes. I pointed the issue out to Jon immediately. He said he would work on it. Two weeks later I called and he was still working on it. I called 2 weeks after that and it was still not ready. My reasonable expectation was that he would have the jacket or give me a credit. I paid $ 120 for the jacket and paid Jon for it to be cleaned. I let him know that he had cleaned that same jacket on several previous occasions with no issue. I told Jon I was willing to take a $ 60 credit since I have had the jacket and he could use the credit toward my next cleaning service and I would still need a refund for the paid dry cleaning of the jacket. He said he would be able to clean the now unrecognizable jacket. I went in for the last time! He did give me $ 10 off of my $ 88 bill when I picked up — however my jacket that he said was READY
was not the same color as the white that matched the skirt and it was spotted! He said he would work on it. Well he can continue to work on it — keep it! After 6 weeks and no jacket and no credit for an 8 year customer? He lost years of business over $ 60. I would hate to see how others are treated at this place of business! Do not entrust your clothes to Jons! The customer does not come first.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!! He has had my dress for over 3 weeks now. He has ruined it and keeps «forgetting» to try and get the stains out that he put there because he’s been busy. Horrible customer service. First, he ignored my phone calls to discuss this and now he’s telling me I shouldn’t be upset about it. Even his own employees told me Jon is a liar!!! Stay away if you value your clothes!!!

Jon is the worst person in this business! I called on a Friday and personally asked him if he could do a rush service on a suit. I explained to him that I had to be at the airport at 8:30 on Monday morning. He said «no problem» and to bring the suit to him at 8:00 Saturday morning. I did exactly that. I got a call from John that afternoon that his circuit breaker had tripped and that the suit would be ready at 6:00 on Sunday evening. He gave me his cell phone number and said to call him on Sunday afternoon. So far, I thought he seemed to genuinely care. So, I call him on Sunday afternoon as he asked. He then tells me that he pulled something in his neck and would do it early Monday morning. I was getting nervous at this point and reminded him that I had to be at the airport at 8:30 Monday morning. He assured me he would have it done and to meet him at 7:00 Monday morning. I had no choice but to agree. I showed up at 7:00. No Jon. No suit. His clerk told me I should have never trusted Jon to do this for me and that next time I should go to Spencer’s or ACME. She called Jon, who finally showed up about 30 minutes later, with no suit. He tells me that the motors to the machines are down, as he pulls my $ 700 suit from the front seat of the company truck, wadded up! Apparently it had been sitting in the seat the entire weekend. He was completely unapologetic and had no care in the world that I was completely screwed. I would have been fine with him just originally saying «sorry, I can’t do it». No. Instead he left me hanging. I will tell everyone I know to never use his services, as apparently his own employees do also!

I have taken my chef’s coats here the past two times and they have done a great job cleaning and pressing them. I have only see Jon once when I picked up my items and the other times I dropped off and picked up a woman helped me. She is very friendly and helpful. I got no speeches from Jon, which I was surprised and kind of sad because I feel like I missed out! HaHa
I misplaced my ticket yesterday and need my jacket for school. The lady at the counter said no problem here. She looked me up on the computer and found my jackets quickly.
I enjoy coming here and would recommend them highly because they do a great job and they won’t rip you off. They told me they would charge me for a lab coat and not a white cotton jacket and it would be cheaper that way. What a nice surprise!

Avoid this place at all costs.
My wife and I live blocks away and have used Jon’s Cleaners two times because it’s so conveniently located. The first time they lost an article, the second time they completely ruined an expensive, irreplaceable, blouse.
When asked about how he’d reconcile both issues, Jon was defensive and combative.
There’s a much better cleaners around the corner (Spencer’s) and who I consider the best cleaners downtown, ACME.

I went to this place out of pure convenience. Every time I picked up my clothes from here they were never clean. I would ask him to reclean my stuff Jon (the owner) would just ramble on about how his machines were the best in Orlando. After 3 or 4 trips here and a few hundred dollars spent I will not be back. Jon is very rude, lazy and also a creep! (If you happen to be a young lady, watch out!)

Jon and his team always do a great job! I drive past 10 to 15 other dry cleaners here in Orlando to come here. I highly recommend!

My parents have used this place for years. I recently started to take m clothes there when I moved into the area. They do good work and will always get your clothes back within two days. If you need next day or same day, they do that too. Jon is always friendly and so is his staff. Their prices are a little high, but they always do a good job and the cleaning is done on site which is an added bonus. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, no worries… they will re-​do it for free!

Jon is one of those genuine, born and raised within the sound of the Boone High drums characters. Hence the sign out front during football season exhorting the Braves on to victory.
But he’s also a very, very good dry cleaner. I’ve never had him screw up or lose anything. It’s right, every time. He knows all his customers and always has a good word. His son — a chip off the old block — is often behind the counter now too. This is the kind of place that stays open for you if call them on a Friday night running late. You don’t find customer service like this very often.
