Tried to eat breakfast here. There were multiple empty dirty tables to be cleared with a line to be seated. We were first in line but, it took 20 min for the manager to clear off a two person table. When we went to be seated the table was disgusting and sticky!

There aren’t many menu options period. The service was slow even though we were the only ones there. This being said the server was very courteous, our orders were correct and the food was served hot. I have to agree with pp that the kids grilled cheese was on enormous slices of bread and hard as a rock. What I don’t understand is this Spanish named restaurant offers no Mexican cuisine, especially being in a Mexican-themed hotel. Definitely pass on it.

My husband and I stumbled across this place while walking around looking for breakfast. We were staying at Disney’s Colorado Springs and I had done a lot of research on where I wanted to eat, but I did not see anything on this restaurant. We almost passed the place because we were on our way to the pepper market for the 2nd time on our 6 night trip and thought the menu looked good with decent prices. I am so happy that we stopped in! Las Ventanas has a great environment. It was nice and quiet which is refreshing for a couple with no kids at Disney. The breakfast was great, our waiter was pleasant, and even the coffee was really good. I’m writing this 6 months after our visit and I don’t remember what I had to eat but I do remember my experience was wonderful that I had to write a review.

Too expensive did quality of food and service. Overlooked burger twice, 3 crab cakes were awful and took over 50 mins to get overlooked burger. Do not recommend restaurant or hotel. I was expecting more from Disney on day 1. Hopefully Epcot makes up for it.

This place is truly an odd ball in terms of Disney dining. To me it comes across like Coronado had some extra space and the powers that be finally decided to throw in a small little F&B outlet into that space. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is only a place holder for something else in the future because right now it really doesn’t fit. Because of it’s odd ball location both at and in Coronado reservations here are a snap and while a few people walked in for dinner there were never more than five occupied tables out of maybe twenty. We only came here because it was our last night and we were keeping it low key by leaving MK early, eating here and then spending a few hours at The Dig Site because otherwise we would have gone a million other places. The service for us was perfectly fine. We were seated right away, several rounds of refills were brought right away(it is Florida during the summer) and all food was brought out fast enough that we barely noticed the wait. One quirk worth noting. Ventana means window and there are no windows here per se. You have a few small sky lights in the ceiling but aside of the front door you walk through you can’t see out and even if you could there is nothing to look at except for interior corridor hallways. It’s also fun to be at a Mexican-Southwest themed resort and F&B outlet while the two TV’s they have are both blaring an 80’s digital music channel. Nothing screams ancient Mexico like«Amanda» from Boston or «Electric Avenue» by Eddy Grant. The food is passable. The kids grilled cheese is done on large slices of focaccia that are toasted very hard with very little cheese in the middle so blah on that one. The seared pork medallions were flavorless the same as the broccolini although the accompanying grits weren’t half bad and sadly the best thing ordered was the Ventanas Burger but it’s kind of hard to screw up a burger. Overall the service is decent, the kitchen pushes out the food fairly quick but the menu is very small, boring and doesn’t even come close to fitting the motif of its surroundings. While Disney Dining has come along way in terms of diversity and creativity some of their offerings still kind of stink and this is one of them.

LONGREVIEW: This is a real hole in the wall restaurant at Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World. The food is immaculate! For an appetizer my family and I ordered the crab cakes which were very tasty, but the portion size was small(3 crab cakes in the dish). This was a bit disappointing because for the price of $ 11.99 we should at least get 9 pieces. Which would make each of my family members get(3 pieces of crab cakes each) Just my opinion. Overall the main courses were epic! The Ventanas Burger was cooked to perfection(I prefer well-done which it was cooked to and means that it was not undercooked). Make sure to keep their signature bacon on the burger because it is to die for! My parents ordered the Prime Rib dish for dinner. They had theirs cooked to their liking as well. The waitress we had was very nice, attentive, friendly, and overall kept us happy at the table. I think that this place is a must go to because it is not well known like the Pepper Market down the hall(Pepper Market is loud and only offers self service). Since Las Ventanas is unkown it allows for quick seating, waiters being more attentative to your table, and your food is cooked at a much slower pace which makes it hot and fresh. They don’t have to rush the food out because they have a numerous amount of orders to make and prepare. You can also get to know your server better because they aren’t on a time clock having to serve other tables which to me is a bonus because in my opinion friendliness now a days is hard to come by. A negative would be the pricing of the food. I think if prices would drop a bit, and Coronado Springs advertises the restaurant more and or expands the restaurant like the Pepper Market, they will have a higher percentage of people visiting the restaurant often. Overall a great place for family’s, groups, and couples. I look forward going back in the future!

I was skeptical from some of the reviews, however I had a good experience here. The cheddar and bacon burger was great and not over cooked. The service was good. My party of 4 agreed.

The mahi mahi sandwich was really great! Whatever sauce they have in it goes so well with the fish, and the bread was fantastic. It all just tasted so well together. The bbq pulled-pork sandwich was also phenomenal. I think I liked it more than the mahi mahi. It was a little bit too salty, but other than that, the meat was tender, flavorful, and the sandwich bread they use is great. Also, their sweet potato fries were awesome. I hate it when you get fries that just taste like oil and you feel like you’re just biting into fried potato skin. But their fries were pretty thick so you can really taste the actual potato meaty part. They have a fancy collection of teas, and I had an oolong tea that was pretty good. And my husband had an iced coffee that was pretty delicious too. The service was pretty slow, which made us nervous because we needed to catch a bus to the airport. But once we expressed our urgency, they did speed it up a bit. Very courteous people. I think I liked this restaurant more than the Maya Grill, another restaurant at Coronado Springs.

Pros: nice quiet restaurant in a busy Coranado springs. The blackened mahi mahi is great! The lobster salad is also pretty solid. I tried the mango basil blueberry margarita… it’s alright, I liked the chili rimmed glass. Nice addition. Cons: I’m not really a big fan of Coronado springs. That spills over to my views of this restaurant. It took a little while to get seated and service was slow, but still courteous. Probably the better of the restaurants in the area, but that’s not a high bar.

This a nice little hidden restaurant in Disney Coronado springs. It was a small little restaurant with an intimate setting. The prices were very reasonable for Disney. I ordered the lobster salad and hubby order the chicken sandwich. The salad was so good!!! Omg I can’t wait to go back and have it again. My husband had the chicken sandwich and it was good the fries were super yummy. We shared an appetizer of crab cakes. They were kinda small, but good flavor. Wish there was more selection, but will definitely visit again.

As for as Disney breakfasts go, this can be skipped. Pros: French pressed coffee with a number of selections — though the French Press Kona at the Kona Café is far superior Standard and tasty French Toast. Bacon was cooked well. In the Coronado Springs Resort Cons: Service was just ok. Our server was polite but often missing. He filled my water glass after I had to ask but rushed away without filling my husband’s. And the dining room wasn’t busy. The food is just OK. Not very kid friendly for breakfast. There’s only one Kid Menu option — eggs, potatoes and bacon. A large dish that would be great for a 10 year old but way too much for our 2 year old. So if you’re stuck at the resort for some reason(like we were, about to check out) you’ll have a standard good meal but nothing to make reservations over.

Pathetic, they don’t even have the decency to change menus between lunch and dinner.

I tried this restaurant on Friday in my quest to try every restaurant at Disney. The space is nice — a quiet, small nook set in Coronado Springs. The service was very slow, even when there was one waiter to each customer but they may have been waiting for the lunch rush to really get going. I had the French dip with French fries and it was good but mediocre. The meat wasn’t too fatty, which I appreciated, but the horseradish cream they claim is on the sandwich was either nonexistent or flavorless(I believe flavorless based on the texture). Fries were on the more potato-y side and good, but the ketchup was rough. It’s those little room service bottles you usually get at hotels with little flavor. Even using my beat friend’s trick of adding pepper couldn’t fix it! I did leave full and for the price tag, is a decent deal for on property.

Meh. Not bad but I don’t have anything spectacular to write about. I had the pancakes with bacon and some coffee. The whole wheat pancakes were a bit thin and I wasn’t too crazy about the granola on them.

A nice table service restaurant in Coronado Springs. Open for breakfast and dinner. Opened in February 2014. I had the chicken foccaccia sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was great. The fries were crispy and seasoned but were so thin they lacked sweet potato flavor.
