You guys have just lost my service after ordering from you for the last few years. Today I tried to place an order to be delivered to my house for my roommate to sign for because I am at work. The order went fine and I was happy to have dinner for me when I got home. I got a call a few minutes later demanding that I send pictures of my Id and my debit card front and back to some phone number given to me by the women on the phone. I told her I was not going to do that as my information could be stolen that way and she then proceeded to tell me that if I’m not going to do it, I can never come to the store again. This woman claimed she was a manager and was very rude. Anyway my ordered was supposedly voided and all was well, then a few minutes my banking app informs me another charge has been placed on my account. I check and it was a second charge from here. I am now out of 50 bucks, until that is returned to my account. If they are really going to double charge me, I don’t know what to think they would do with my private information. After the second charge, I called the store back and asked why it happened. I was not given a reason and hung up on. I called back again and asked to speak to the owner of the store. After a few minutes on hold, the same woman from before who was the manager picked up. I asked her if I could speak to the owner and she told me that I do not need to speak to the owner and that she is the one who runs the store. I told her she has lost my business of more than 2 years and she told me, we don’t need you, your not important to us. Upset I asked to speak to the owner once again and was hung up on. Something needs to be done. I have never been treated so rudely by customer service anywhere. Hopefully the owner will see this and will contact me.

This place is horrible. This is my second time ordering from this place because it close by but never again. I ordered the egg foo young and vegetable fried rice and egg rolls First the food is oily and greasy with no taste no season. The vegetable fried rice had odd vegetables like I think zucchini. They are very rude and unprofessional they give me spring roll instead of the egg rolls I ordered and tried to argue with me for about 10 min about why I was wrong. Never again I have to find another place

Great food for the price! Friendly staff as well: D I always get the student special which is the lunch special all day. When I’m sick, their soups are convenient and fast!

I come here from work for their lunch buffet. It’s a great price($ 5.95) and the portions are HUGE. Food tastes great as well. I would highly recommend this place !

If you like BBQ, try the roasted duck special, it is very tasty but a little dry. 4 stars.

We have been going to Luya’s for 3 years now. It’s our trusted place for Chinese food. We have tried their pork, shrimp, chicken and combination fried rice and it’s delicious. The quality of their food is great! I recommend it to everyone.

I gave high rate because they give so much food for $ 6.25! I used to complain because they give so much and still today so they cut my food in half! But if you are on a budget, you can come here! Spend $ 6.25. Eat hall for lunch and have the other half for another meal! Super! The stir fry string beans is awesome!

went back for their dinner combo and had it deliver. It took about 40 mins to get my food. Tried their kung pow chicken and wonton soup. Highly recommended.

Love the food here! The restaurant is a lovely little family restaurant, the owner is very warm and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. I love the general taso chicken, better than other restaurants, it’s definitely worth it to give it a try.

The family running the restaurant are very friendly. The food is not very expensive. UCF students can have whole day lunch combo, which is really good deal. I usually order Sichuan shrimp or pork garlic sauce because they have very authentic Chinese flavor. I also love the Rangoon they cooked.

I FOUND A BANDAIDINMYFOOD, WORSTRESTAURANTEXPERIENCE. When I asked the manager for a refund, she called the police and they had to convince her to give a refund. DONOTGOHERE

I ordered pick up meal and had the sweet and sour chicken even though it was dinner time they offer UCF students the lunch special at any time of the day which is good, especially since they are directly across UCF. Food overall was typical Chinese food. My meal came with soup or egg roll and I had the the wonton soup and it was good. I only wish the fried rice had vegetables on it. First time I see fried rice with only scrambled eggs in it

As a New York native I have searched far and wide for delicious Chinese food. I love the food at Luya. I’d recommend take-out as the inside can get filled with college kids(but, their in-house dining is incredibly fast). My favorite is their General Tso’s. They’re great about accommodating to your requests. I always ask for extra spicy and extra sauces and have never been disappointed. The dinner portions are large and their lunch menu is a steal.

Disappointing This review is based off of two take-out experiences. I came here one night to order their«House Special Soup» to-go and came home with a not very satisfying meal. Every Chinese place that I’ve ordered«House Special Soup» from, it comes with a good mixture of vegetables, shrimp, pork and wontons. Their soup however had no meat, wontons or shrimp, just soggy vegetables. I was extremely disappointed because at $ 6 almost $ 7, I expect to get more than dissatisfying rabbit food in a salty broth. I wanted to give this place another go so just the other night I ordered a wonton soup and General Tso’s chicken which came with fried rice and an egg roll. Everything seemed tasteless and old. The soup’s broth was really, really salty and didn’t even have scallions. Some of the chicken pieces had cartilage still attached so that was an unpleasant surprise when bitting into them. The rice didn’t have any pieces of pork or peas or onions like most places. It didn’t taste great and I ended up not eating most of the food. The people that runt the business are extremely nice and that’s why I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1.

If you want a decent Chinese place for the price and on a college budget then this is the place for you! Definitely not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but with the prices they have the food lives up to those. Being on a college budget it helps that they are able to offer the Lunch Combination special for UCF students through lunch and dinner so it is a great deal! I have eaten here multiple times and it always curves my hunger. Overall a good place and I will definitely be returning.

Not too good. Food was tasteless, no flavor even the egg rolls sucked! Yuck. Very disappointed.

Completely awful. Went there for the lunch special hoping for good, cheap chinese and came back with regret. ALL of the food seemed old/gross and everything I got was cold and tasteless. Literally no positives here. Don’t bother.

This spot is a great lunch area for those wanting to spend $ 10 or less for a filling lunch. Other than choosing from a menu, they have a lunch buffet where you can select 2 or 3 entrees which includes either white rice, fried rice, or lo mein and a small fried donut :). I got the 2 entrée deal and chose the eggplant and broccoli chicken. They gave out more rice than the entrees itself. Anyways, It wasn’t the tastiest I have ever had nor it was the nastiest I have ever had. Pretty bland, but it was still ok for the price(better than panda express imo). I got a tummy ache after though :(… Just a note though, this is americanized chinese food, but its decent compared to panda express.

Yummy yummmy in my tummy~~~ Just want to reiterate my fondness for this place. One thing I want to tell every one here is don’t expect your authentic Chinese food from a small town in China. This is Americanize Chinese food and its great! They do have a eggplant dish which is always tasty and that I can tell you is one of the things you can eat in China. The rest is your normal american general tso or chicken and broccoli but don’t bash me for liking it because it still taste good! Its a whole lot better than Asian Chao or whatever stuff they got selling at Publix Chinese food bar down the street. Also, its like 5 bucks and change!
