Located in a small plaza, there’s about 8 small tables that maybe can fit 12 – 14 people max in the place. Been going here since they opened. Owners are crazy nice and always friendly. They have pretty darn good Taiwanese food. I’ve ordered the oyster pancake, zhu pai fun(fried pork cutlets) mealbox, Lu Rou Fan(Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice Bowl), the pork belly buns, and many more. Nothing has let me down. The mealboxes come with a soup, side noodles, veggies, plenty of rice, side of ginger, braised egg, meat, and some minced pork belly. Filled me completely up and wiped the box clean. Would definitely recommend this place if you want close to authentic Taiwanese food. Also, they only take card if your meal is $ 10 or more, so bring cash just in case.

Hands down the most authentic Taiwanese cuisine in Orlando area. The owners are very friendly and dishes taste incredible. Made me miss them home cooking, would definitely drop by when I’m in the area =)

Ooooh yeah!!! I finally made it there! I had my mom over for(an amazing) dinner last weekend and we decided to get gelato afterwards(see end of review). In the same tiny strip mall is this gem, which I’ve had bookmarked and have been wanting to try for months. My mom suggested that we go and get a takeout menu from Taipei 101 for a future dinner date. Great idea, only they don’t have takeout menus. The smell when you walk in is incredible! It doesn’t have that oily smell of strip mall Chinese joints, it smells like delicious food I want to consume immediately! So, being that we are stuffed from dinner, my mom suggests we order spring rolls to go. Haha! Way to go mom! At least I know where I get it from! I spot Gua Bao on the menu and have to order one. Well, my mom wants one too and I’m not gonna share, so we get two orders. In total, for the spring rolls and two Bao orders, is like $ 13. Not bad! When the food came out, I was super excited! The Bao looked Sooo good, and there were 2 per order. Yes, two delightful steam buns filled with pork belly and peanut sauce for $ 5. A total steal! Had I known there were two per order, we would’ve only gotten one, but the extras definitely didn’t go to waste. The spring rolls were subpar and I wouldn’t order them again. They looked homemade from the outside, but the filling was nothing but mushy flavorless cabbage and they tasted like they were previously frozen. I’ll definitely skip these in the future. The Bao, however, were so flavorful! The pork belly melted in your mouth and, even though it’s 90% pure fat, you don’t get that wiggly-jiggly«I have a mouth full of fat» feeling. It was perfect. There was also plenty meat on there as well. I know there were veggies but I can’t remember what they were. The peanut sauce they put on was also super flavorful and yummy. It’s wasn’t super creamy, it had chunks of nuts still in it, which added to the great texture. I went back the next day just to get an order of Bao, because they were that good! I honestly cannot wait to go back again and try more of their dishes. Everything that other people around us were eating looked so good! I have no idea what they were eating and am not sure what to order next time, but I don’t think I can go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely check this place out if you’re anywhere near Oviedo! — Two doors down from this delicious Taiwanese establishment is Sammy’s Gelato and Waffles. It’s the best I’ve found out outside of NYC and I am addicted! My faves are peach(seasonal) and Biscoff(that delicious cookie you get on airplanes). Do yourself a favor and go here for dessert after your dinner at Taiwan 101!

Couldn’t believe how good this food was! It was my first time having Taiwanese food and it was pretty amazing. I had the pork belly over rice, noodles with minced pork and pork buns and(I believe) sweet & sour soup and geez was it all so delicious. The staff was also great and really kind! I’ll definitely be going here often and recommend it to everyone!

I just realized that Taipei 101 is a skyscraper in China. It’s not your typical American-Chinese food of General Tso chicken or Orange chicken, so if you are looking for that you’ll be very disappointed. It’s actually not Chinese but Taiwanese food. This was my first experience with Taiwanese food, and I enjoyed it. We got these pork belly steam rolls, with some peanut sauce, and they are amazing. The only down side is that you get 2 of them, and they aren’t very filling. I feel like I could eat about 5 orders of them and be content. I will need to try some other dishes here.

You won’t find a more authentic Chinese/Taiwanese place than this in Orlando! This reminds me a lot of some of the foods I ate as a kid. The place may be a little intimidating to those unfamiliar with Asian food, but staff does their best to explain and guide what every item actually is. The venue is small so be prepared to stand during the busy time, but it’s very clean and homely. All food is made fresh as can be seen by the busy cooks behind the cashier and the prices are very reasonable for the type and amount of food you get. The presentation of how they arrange the food in your bowl is also a sight to see. I got the pork belly fried rice which I’d recommend to anyone that likes any type of pork with a little side of rice. The presentation also reminded me of very authentic asian boxes you find with food presented nicely in each section. The only thing I’d be aware about is that their vegetarian options are limited, I went with one of my coworkers and she is vegetarian and had only a very limited section on what she could choose. Other than that I loved the place and would glady return another time perhaps for dinner.

Wow, 101% authentic Taiwanese food. I am so excited that they have gua bao 割包, jelly meat pie 肉圓, pig blood cake 豬血糕, oyster pancake 蚵仔煎, Taiwanese vermicelli 麵線, pork ball(貢丸), pork rice 魯肉飯, various meats simmered in soy sauce 鹵水: tofu, pig ear, intestine… and all the other Taiwanese dishes that I can’t find in restaurants in S. Florida. My favorite is hands down the gua bao, an open faced bun filled with a slice of melt-in-your-mouth braised pork belly, along with some cilantro, peanuts and pickled green. Yup, sweet and savory, soft and crunchy… it nails it all. If you want a little spice, ask for their hot sauce — it’s just mildly spicy with a hint of sweetness, and goes really good with the bun. Do not think the pork belly bun is an invention of some New York fusion chef, it’s a traditional Taiwanese snack that goes way back. They have beef noodles too, another well known Taiwanese dish. While the beef and tendons are tender, the noodles and soup are just so-so. The popcorn chicken is crispy on the outside, spicy with the chili powder, but moist inside. We also tried the savory soy milk, which comes with fried cruller, scallion and dried shrimp. Somehow the texture comes out rather custardy, more like tofu pudding than soy milk. While some are the dishes are a miss, we enjoyed most everything we ordered. They have many bento boxes available, at an affordable price of around $ 8, with options like fried pork chop, basil chicken, etc. Do check their menu board behind the counter, where they list the daily specials. Which does change daily: soup, dumplings, vermicelli, fried pork chop, and many other. Also note that they close rather early at night, so if you plan on dinner, make it early bird.

It’s exciting to see so many really traditional street eats type Taiwanese dishes. We recently went to Orlando for a weekend, and I found this restaurant on Unilocal. So we made this our first meal of the trip. We weren’t disappointed! We had the pork belly buns, pork belly over rice bento, the chicken leg bento, the Taiwanese sausage fried rice, fried tofu, dried tofu, and more that I can’t remember. There were five of us arriving at different times and vehicles, so we just kept getting up to order more stuff. At the end of the night, we also took some items to go(like popcorn chicken and another bento) to have as snack for later. We will definitely be back for more the next time we are in Orlando!

Nice service, but my order took 40 minutes when was expected 10 minutes. People were being served after my order to go. Food was disappointed, the sweet n sour soup was good. Not sure what the hope is, maybe ived ordered the wrong dish. Not the kind of place for a take out. I did go out of my way to try this place, was disappointed.
