5 Star Pizza

Customer service is far below average, food is acceptable at best, took 1.5−2 hours to get our food delivered. For a late night place you hardly get what you pay for. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re not sober and really hungry

I hadn’t seen any reviews or known anyone that ordered from here, but I figured I’d give it shot simply because I saw their delivery car out often. It’s a place to order from only, there is a booth and 2 tables, but it’s very run down and almost looks like a warehouse on the inside. The pizza wasn’t what I was hoping for. I didn’t know what to expect, but was hoping for a NY style pie, but instead it’s more of a chain pizza pie. My kids loved it, and compared the pizza to Chuck E Cheese, but I don’t think many pizza lovers would want that. I can see the appeal late night as a college kid, so the place makes sense for that. The pizza was probably better than some of the chains but I’d actually side with Dominos over this place. So even on a late night for me (nowhere near the 4 they are open until) I’ll choose Dominos.

I love five star because they are open until 4 am when you really need it. The pizza isn’t anything special and pretty much only good if you’re drunk which is probably the idea behind it. The one time I called in to pick up a pizza, we waited around 20 minutes although they had told us it would have been done 10 minutes prior. A good late night place to choose DELIVERY from.

This is my favorite quick pizza place. I haven’t been anywhere else since I tried Five Star. They often run a special for 6.99. I like a kinda of a thicker crust and just enough sauce, other places put to much sauce or not enough cheese. I can’t stand when there is cheese missing on half the pizza, Five Star covers everything with plenty. Over all the ratio of cheese and sauce is perfect and the bread is just thick enough.

This is a college kind of pizza place. They don’t even open up until 3 PM and I bet the don’t get busy until after midnight.
Pretty cheap pizza but overall good quality. Nothing incredible comes to mind to share, but if you are looking for a cheap late night meal, this could be just what you are looking for.

Had a chance to order again, was not as impressed as the last time. Was still good. Maybe not worth 5 stars.
Update:
Had to revise my review a third time, don’t know why but the taste and quality has changed yet again. If you like papa johns this might be a cheap alternative.
It’s not what I am looking for, the dough was really thick and doughy not the texture I like. Guess it depends on who’s making it.
Star rating went from 5 to 4 now to 3.
