I like this place, reasonable prices and decent food. Don’t try to order fresh juice… they’ll fill up the cup with ice.

Food was decent, service was excellent, atmosphere was ok. Food– I tried the shrimp and grits which was rich and creamy. I wasn’t a huge fan of the grit«cakes» as they were a little overcooked but the sauce was delicious. We almost didn’t order the shrimp and crab nachos since the server warned us they were spicy(I don’t do spice!) but we were told I could pick off the jalapenos. Let me tell you if you’re like me and don’t like spicy foods don’t pass on these nachos just because of the fire. I was easily able to pick off the peppers and was able to eat the nachos without trouble. They have a triangular chip base and loads of cheese and wonderfully flavored crab and shrimp chunks. They were excellent but oh so unhealthy, lol. They had a decent selection of beer, enough to keep most beer lovers happy. I started off with an OBP but switched to the happy hour chardonnay. I should’ve stuck with beer because the wine was way to fruity for a chardonnay. Service– We were promptly seated and after a brief wait greeted. I thought our server did a wonderful job. He checked on us just enough and seemed to authentically want us to be happy. He patiently explained the menu and drink specials. Atmosphere– The inside should be cool and dark but for some reason on this sweltering summer evening they had one door propped open. Not only did this let in bugs(one tenacious fly wouldn’t leave us alone) but the light shining through the door was blinding. Although I was blinded by the light the restaurant felt a little dingy and sticky. Valet is validated by the restaurant. Make sure to use the valet nearest the restaurant(it’s right in front of the door) not the one by Tommy Bahamas). Same company but less walking.

Over the span of 72 hours, I came to two different opinions on the food. The first night, I was picking up my friend that was already dining here and I asked him to order some take-out for my late dinner. My friend had brought back two different chicken sandwiches that I was splitting with others. It turns out the chicken in both sandwiches were dry and flavorless. A few days later, I returned for lunch and I’m glad to say this time everything was a lot better. My friends and I knew to not order the chicken so we ordered three different beef burgers/sandwiches instead. Good thing we did because these burgers were on an entirely different level compared to the chicken. The burgers come with a side, typically fries, but you have the option of changing it; I changed mine to the jalapeño corn grits. I was happy I got the grits; they weren’t as oily or heavy as the fries and it was a nice balance to the very savory burger. I was prepared to have a leave a very poor review had I not returned to try the food a second time. I’m glad I did because now I would firmly recommend you try this place out, maybe just be wary of ordering the chicken. Chicken sandwiches(Rated 1.5 of 5) Beef burgers and sandwiches(Rated 4.5 of 5) Eat-in service(Rated 5 of 5)

I’ve been to Marlow’s twice and it’s been Jekyll and Hyde with service. Food is good and has some nice dishes that are a bit more than simple American food. The chicken stack and the veggie burger are solid examples. Food is good, but recommend sitting at bar so you get more attention from bartenders than the wait staff.

I had the Bahn Mi wrap. It was decent, nothing great. Asparagus fries were pretty good. They weren’t greasy not overly breaded. There are better options in the area, with similar beer lists. Our waitress was very talkative and although she was very nice she spent way too much time having one sided conversations at our table when I would rather have been eating and talking to my friend. Take it or leave it.

I’m a big fan of the AHITUNAPOKE: Ahi Tuna, Hawaiian Style, Avocado, Teriyaki Glaze, Scallion and Crispy Wonton. Hands down my favorite dish out of the whole menu. Does not take Discover and it’s 5% cash back this month too!

Holy moly, super delicious blackened mahi fish tacos! They had very nice fresh mahi, a great tangy sauce and some yummy pickled onions for a great taste combo. Also the cheese grits I chose to accompany the fish tacos were super thick and yummo-riffic! My buddy got a burger and fries that looked terrific as well. He said it was one of the better burgers he had ever had, a pretty huge compliment for him to say. On top of this they had a good selection of beers. Not great, because, like many places these days their choices are a bit PA and IPA heavy. However, this was well offset by the fact that they had Founder’s Dirty Bastard which is one of my favorite beers and it went great with the food. Also, service was terrific. We got there around dinner time, but probably before the prime time for that part of I-Drive. Either way, the service was spot on and we hardly waited any significant amount of time for anything. I am committed to getting back out here, and to visiting the Winter Park location now to try some more of their menu items.

Although the dish I had here was incredible(shrimp and grits) unfortunatrly, the service was extremely slow and inconsistent. We’d wait about 15 to 20 minutes for our next round of drinks or to even see our server, who was fine once she was around. Someone in our party had a dirty glass, which meant another 15 minute wait for a drnk in a clean glass! We were there on a Wednesday night which made me wonder what a weekend would be like. I would only return for this dish I ate but the drinks and service would not be enough to bring me back, the next time I’m in town.

Came here Xmas day. They had live music in the back that played many songs we knew. The dining and bar area are seperated, so if you feel like a bar night you can be in that section and vice versa. The food was decent bar/pub style food with their own twist. It was out first time there and we got a free appetizer on the house! The staff was nice too.

Visited for Sunday lunch on a very cold day in January. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the service of friendly and attentive Alyx. He found it important to introduce himself to any customer sitting at the bar and be sure to use their name when he was speaking to them. I love that! I had the asparagus fries as an apetizer. I love asparagus. This was a unique and tasty apetizer, even if fried foods are really not my thing. The batter around the asparagus was light and only slightly greasy. Their menu is not overwhelming, which I appreciated. It’s mainly a burger and fish place. However, a surprising addition to the entrees was Grilled Turkey Meatloaf. I got it and loved it. The meatloaf is served on top of potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was prepared and presented nicely. It’s not always easy to do that with meatloaf.

We sat on the patio, the ambiance was nice. Our server was exceptional. He recommended the shrimp and grits which my husband tried, I had the filet, my son had a burger. We all really enjoyed the food, and the experience in general. Tip: use the valet parking, right in front of the resturant, get it validated so it’s free!

3.5 stars I was in town for a conference and randomly stumbled upon Marlow’s while roaming around Pointe Orlando. It reminded me of Yard House, which ironically was just down the street by the Orlando Eye. Similar types of menu items as well such as burgers, sandwiches, and all types of beers and cocktails. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken panini($ 11.70), which was pretty tasty. The sandwich was nice and toasty and the flavor was good. It came with your choice of a side, which I opted for the caesar salad. I liked how the salad came with these unique cheese croutons rather than your standard bread ones. Quite the surprise! Unfortunately, my salad was extremely overdressed, to a point where I actually asked for some extra lettuce, which they had no problems doing. If you don’t like a lot of dressing on your salad, I would suggest getting the dressing on the side just in case! Overall, the food was decent and the service was great. I went on a Saturday for lunch and it was surprisingly empty, but then again, the whole Pointe Orlando shopping plaza was pretty empty. I guess all the tourists went elsewhere! The plaza also has about 8 or so other restaurants so it has competition!

On June 19, 2015, my family and I were on vacation in Orlando, Florida and had listed Marlow’s Tavern as one of the Orlando area restaurants that had a high Unilocal rating. Prior to visiting Marlow’s, I had done my due diligence and read the mostly positive reviews about Marlow’s to ensure my family was about to embark on a good dining experience. There is only one data source I rely on and trust to lead me in the right direction of a positive foodie experience and that data source will always be Unilocal.Unilocal once again did not lead me astray and we were pleased with our dining experience at Marlow’s Tavern. Marlow’s is a chain restaurant with a sports bar vibe and projects a more upscale feel with it’s décor. This Marlow’s was located within one of Orlando’s local malls. Parking was aplenty in the mall’s structured type parking and make sure to have your parking ticket validated before you leave Marlow’s. The décor gave off a modern feel with black and white photographs framed in black. One of the walls was adorned in brick and added to the upscale look. The restaurant was dimly lit, but there were an array of televisions showing a variety of sports. My family and I sat in one of the many booths upholstered in leather and scanned their not so modest menu. Although Marlow’s felt upscale, the menu prices were reasonable. For our appetizers, we ordered their Killer Calamari and Ahi Tuna Poke. My family and I inhaled these appetizers because they were tasty and finger licking good. My only complaint about these appetizers is that there wasn’t enough of either dish. To ensure you get your fill of these delicious appetizers, I recommend that you order 2 of each. For my main dish, I ordered the Black and Blue Burger with asparagus fries. I’ve eaten better burgers in San Diego, but this burger was quality, yummy, and substantial. Even though the pricing of their food was reasonable, I wished there was more value and more food particularly the appetizers and the asparagus fries. If you’re in the Orlando area, Marlow’s Tavern is a must visit if you’re looking for a restaurant that appears to be upscale, but doesn’t have the upscale prices. Marlow’s quality food and dining experience made our visit to Orlando an enjoyable one.

We went to Marlow’s the other night for my birthday and we weren’t disappointed. The menu was huge and I had a hard time deciding on what I wanted. I knew that I would have truffle fries in my future. I also was looking at the shrimp and grits and I wasn’t disappointed. My daughter had the surf and turf kids meal and she liked that. Also the rest of the party was really happy with their food. The crab and shrimp nachos were a big hit as well as the drunken chicken. They also have a decent beer selection. I’ll definitely go back and try something else on the menu.

I’ve read mostly positive reviews for Marlow’s Tavern and I’d say they are mostly warranted. Our lunch today was better than good, but by no means great. We started off with J.T.‘s Kettle Chips(kettle chips topped off with Gorgonzola, bacon, tomatoes and scallions) which were very tasty. At about 8.50 they offered good value, but I wish they were a bit more generous with the Gorgonzola cheese sauce; the bottom layer of chips was pretty bare. We followed that up with a pair of their Black and Blue burgers and a side of Asparagus Fries. The burgers were a bit overcooked(received medium-well as opposed to medium), but they still had a really nice flavor. The toasted bun really worked well with the creamy blue cheese and bacon. It isn’t one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, but it was solid. The asparagus fries and citrus aioli were tastier than I expected, not to mention that the side of french fries came cold and soggy. I enjoyed this place, but I think it’s one of those places that I’d enjoy more if I returned with a large group for drinks.

You can’t expect too much of anything on International Drive… however Marlow’s Tavern has proven me wrong. If you’re in the area looking for all around good bar food, Marlow’s Tavern will satisfy your cravings. We started with an ahi tuna poke and it really hit the spot. I don’t think it was anything near an authentic tuna poke, but it was good. The teriyaki glaze was sweet and tart. I was stuck between the French Dip or Black n Blue burger. Two other people in our party went with the French Dip, so I opted for the Black n Blue burger(Gorgonzola, Apple-Wood-Smoked Bacon). The melted gorgonzola made for an umami packed burger. I ordered it medium rare and it came out juicy and pink in the middle. The edges of the burger were cripsy, however were a bit too salty. My fiancée ordered the fish tacos and really enjoyed them with a side of japapeno corn grits. Service was friendly and attentive.
