McDonald’s

Came here simply for an Iced Mocha. All the other coffee places around me are closed at this time, so this was a last (very desperate) stop tonight. My debit card wasn’t swiping properly because it was scratched. All I wanted was an Iced Mocha. Would it really have been so hard for the young girl behind the counter to key in the card? When asked, she just gave this blank stare, like she couldn’t possibly be asked to do more than what her minimum wage required — in this case, just swiping people’s cards and taking cash. God forbid she’d actually have to key in a few numbers. Yes, obviously annoyed. Don’t know why anyone would go to McDonald’s by choice, other than my toddler who always wants a «happy meal» just for the toy!

The food when I eventually received it was alright. It took over 6 mins to be greeted and have my order taken.
I know how hard it is to work in fast food bc I managed a BK restaurant. This evenings dinner rush was managed poorly.
The manager lost her crew in the middle of service and instead of leading she fell into being a crew member.
Many ppl who already ordered were waiting over 5 minutes for their food.
When I finally received my food it was just ok.

It’s close. So that’s why it’s convenient for me. But I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve had to pull over from the drive through and wait for them to bring my food out. Once resulting in over 15 minutes where I actually had to get out and go inside to question why it was taking so long.

I was here Saturday for breakfast with friends on the way to Universal Studios. Their service is quick and polite. I have just one comment and I’m not sure if it was that particular restaurant or the ones in the area. I ordered a Breakfast value meal and usually it comes with coffee or juice. However, this one didn’t.
