Metrowest Pour House just went through an ownership change. Friendly Confines Sports Restaurant will be coming in May. Cubbie claws are coming to town. Go Cubs!

If you want good food then this place isn’t the place to go. All the food is way too doughy. Everything seems to be bulky carb filler, with not a lot of substance, and just bland. They really need a real chef to rehab their menu because it’s a cool spot with some ok drink prices. Their staff could use some work in the personality arena as well. Like I said, this place has some potential but needs some vision.

This is the best place to watch football games. They have multiple big projectors on the walls, with every game going, and if they don’t, the employees are super nice and do their best to change them. The food is pretty good, what you would expect for a sports bar; burgers, fries, salads, chips and dip, wings, you know, the regular stuff. The bar there is extensive as well. The sports memorabilia is a nice addition to the atmosphere, with NFL team flags all over the place, as well as jerseys and some sport figurines scattered about the place. Overall, really nice place run by nice people with nice and helpful employees, with fast service when it’s not too busy.

We visited with some friends for some late night drinks and a bite to eat. They had a good beer selection and a full bar so lots to choose from. We didn’t know what to expect from the food, came in thinking typical bar food. It actually was quite tasty! Service was very good and attentive as well, never saw the bottom of my glass unless I wanted to, and the waiter was quite entertaining. Don’t frequent this area a lot but next time we do I wouldn’t hesitate at all to go back.

Went to watch the Stanley Cup final with sound on the patio. Beer specials were domestic pitchers for $ 9. The highlight here was the appetizers. My husband and I ate the tex mex dip & house wings. To die for! The house sauce is exactly as described — perfect blend of sweet and spice. Our server, Dawn, was helpful, friendly and attentive without being overly present(which can happen sometimes when you go out to watch a game). I will definitely return.

Service: We were greeted immediately at the bar and had our drinks in front of us in less than a minute. Cara was exceptionally nice and a very good bartender. Atmosphere: Comfortable, clean and friendly. Overall: Great! We’ll be back.

Horrible. This is the second and last time I will ever attempt to dine here. We waited 20+ minutes for some quesadillas and nachos. We also ordered chips and salsa that never came out. My friend got up and got beers from the bar because our waitress was no where to be found. We sat with 4 empty water glasses until our server finally came back and just put a water pitcher on the table. I finally got up to get the manager but apparently she was on the line(I have to assume alone. Which would explain the long ticket times). With no food, empty drinks and, no service or management staff we told them to cancel the order and went to taco bell. I work in the service industry and there is just no excuse for this all around awful experience. Save yourself the frustration and for anywhere else.

This is a great place for a casual lunch. Simple food like a blt or sloppy joe… or chicken fried steak. …it’s comfortable. I go alone or with friends and we all love it. The service is friendly and I always see people who are regulars.

I always enjoy the taco lunch special with tots here. Is it the greatest taco and tots? No but it isn’t terrible and for what they charge for it as a lunch special its tot to be one of the best values in town. Taco my word for it.

This place is nice, but if you are NOT a beer drinker you will pay the price! The Pour House will put you IN the poor house! Bartenders were nice(ish). 6 rail drinks for 2 was $ 145. Before gratuity. Won’t go back.

I will never go here again… that’s how bad my experience was. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. The problem me and my friends had were with the bartenders and the manager. We dined in on a Sunday afternoon during football season. I know how crazy it can get working football for I am a bartender currently myself. There is no organization at this place what so ever! Tv’s are not labeled with what games will be on and God forbid if you ask for a specific game to be on a tv. My football game was switched off 3 times!!! I stood at the bar 10 mins before even being spoken to by one of the 2 bartenders working this day who both noticed me but chose to ignore my presence. I explained to them that they had switched my game off two times already MIDGAME, they put my game back on but not on the same TV but a smaller TV in the corner. Our friends next to our table ordered a burger which did not arrive until 1 hour 30 mins later!!! There was apparently a miscommunication between their server the bartender who took the burger and the manager who made the burger. Even after they finally received their meal the manager refused to comp the burger. Bartenders were heard several times cursing loudly at one another in front of well as yelling at one another about taking food that was not theirs. The experience I had here will never make me return… you are better of going somewhere else nearby!

So with a name like MetroWest Pour House, you would expect that they have a lot of beers, craft or otherwise on tap or in bottles, right? Nope, I think they had 8 on tap, all pretty common. We came here for a Dr. Who viewing party, which we did get an entire room to ourselves for. So that was pretty nice of them. They also dedicated a few servers for us. The staff is pretty good and the food, well it is food. We had almost one of every appetizer spread out over 3 hours. All I can really say is that each item was average at best. The nachos where probably my favorite, but that was after two pitchers of beer, so who knows! This place could be great. I would suggest they start with more and better craft beer and update the menu just a bit to not include all the frozen, flash fried food.

I’m a karaōke fanatic so I stopped in on a Sunday night for dinner, pre-season football and some beers with karaōke. Bartenders: Very nice and very approachable. They were always right there to top me off when my glass was empty. They definitely know how to be bartenders. Food: I got a bleu cheese burger and it was BANGIN’!! Cooked perfectly as I wanted it and their steak fries were pretty orgasmic. My belly was satisfied after that meal Sports: Turn your head 360 degrees and there was a TV no matter where you looked. They have a huge projector screen to watch the main sporting event so you’ll never miss a second of the inning, quarter, period, match, lap, etc. Entertainment: I came for the Karaōke on Sunday night, hosted by Korndogg. The DJ was definitely legit and entertaining. He wasted no time getting the next singer up and everyone seemed to be into it. I was there from 10:30 until close and I got to sing 6 songs. Atmosphere: Inside is nice and the ambient lighting is mellow. They do have outdoor seating and you can bring your beer out with you to have a smoke. They have other things here I didn’t get to enjoy that night but would definitely be back for– billiards, darts, ping pong, and beer pong tournaments. I would recommend this place to all my friends because even though I went by myself I still had a lot of fun!

I went here to their Taco Tuesday special($ 0.50 tacos, that must be ordered two at a time on Tuesdays from 10pm-midnight) and I was pleasantly surprised. They were basic tacos, hard shell beef tacos with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and salsa on the side but I was shocked with how delicious the shells and salsa were! This was my one and only experience at this restaurant but I will happily return. The atmosphere is very casual and was seat yourself, something I am normally against as I feel like tables get neglected but that was not the case. Our server was very attentive and helped with our questions, and while it wasn’t busy, she made sure to keep checking on us and get our orders quickly. I will be returning for the tacos as well as to try other items!

This is an interesting location. Went with a date for an after hours drink and stumbled across Pour House. It’s a relatively large bar and was quiet the evening we went. Trivia was in full swing and we took turns guessing songs, artists and movies. The bar provides comfortable seating while the bartenders are very attentive. I don’t remember our guy/girl being heavy-handed but I do remember enjoying my drinks. I haven’t tasted the food yet here but I will some time soon. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Almost like you’re at a small town bar. I really enjoyed it and I suggest you swing thru if you are looking for a calm scene, drinks and maybe a little trivia :)

Just moved to metro west, so decided to take my gf and a friend out for a drink and get some food. We had a great experience and were planning on going back especially since we live so close now. Low and behold, all 3 of us were sick in the morning. We called the manager(Sook) a day later and she had no sympathy for our situation. She recommended we all go to the dr. and bring her a note to prove that we were sick from her restaurant. I asked«how realistic does that sound to you?» Pfff… Like we have nothing better to do. She said sorry and thanks for letting us know. It’s unfortunate because the place has great potential. Maybe management is the problem?

This is not a bad place at all! We moved to Metro West not so long ago and we used to drive by this place all the time but never paid attention to it! My husband asked me if I wanted to go and give it a shot, so we ended up here for happy hour lunch on a Tuesday! The place is big and it has inside and outside self-seating. We dicided to seat outside because the inside had a strong grease smell. The server came to greet us and she was really pleasant! We dicided to go with the reagular menu –it looked better than happy hour-. We tried a bunch of appetizers: The sampler wirh mozza sticks, jalapeño poppers, chicken tenders and wings; the homemade rolls and some fries. You could tell that everything was hand-breaded and fried to order! It didn’t look like other places that you get some pre-prepared frozen food. Plus the rolls were HUGE! We didn’t had a bad experience at all! And we are definitely coming back! Don’t judge a book by its cover! :)

Surreptitiously snuck in because this joint was the chosen venue for the Sis to stage a surprise 50th birthday par-tay for her honey, Diamond-Greg. I liked: * Big and roomy * BIG central bar * Lots of TVs, great place to watch sports * Indoor and outdoor seating * The buffet-food the Sis lined up for the lime was tasty(quesadillas, wings, pizza) * Cheap drinks * Efficient staff * Ping Pong Table * Nice outdoor seating for the smokers *cough* * Attractive patrons in Yoga Pants Good stuff. Cabeza out!

This looked like a fun place to go to when we walked in– They had ping pong, people singing karaōke, and even beer pong in the back. But we weren’t there for all of that. We were there to eat after what felt like a long day of traveling from Miami to Orlando. We ordered 2 dishes to share and here are my thoughts: *Pierogies– Dough dumplings filled with mashed potatoes. Sorry to say, but these were not good at all. The dough was almost on the gummy/chewy side and if I wasn’t so hungry, I would have stopped eating after the first bite. Alas, my stomach was not being picky that night. *Buffalo Wings– No complaints here. The wings were medium size and the sauce was great. Service was also attentive and prices were fair.
