You come here for some good wings! Try the grilled chicken wings! The grilled garlic parmesan wings is an absolute try. Great place for taking guests out of town to try some Gator bites. Also a good place to come with friends on Sundays and casually watch a game with a beer. #sundayfunday

Came here with a friend I haven’t seen in years to catch up with. It was around 11:00pm and the place was dead, but it still took our drinks 15+ minutes to get to the table. They were watered down, nothing special. I feel like I paid $ 5 for a glass of cranberry juice. I was told that the bartender was«upset» which was why it took so long. Burger was bland, coleslaw was dry. The server was nice, but the experience overall was poor enough for me not to want to come back to this location.

For the first time I went here on a day that isn’t Monday, and I will never make this mistake again. First of all, the place was DEAD. Out of the entire visit I would say there were 5 parties eating and under 10 people at the bar which meant each server had about 1 or 2 tables at a time. At first our server, Mark, seemed nice, but during our time we spent a lot of it waiting for him to reappear, watching him hanging out at a table with another server and with empty cups. The bartender was doing much of the same, sitting at the bar, smoking on the porch and having Mark serve guests rather than her tending the bar. Our food was okay but it came out weird, all the food for me and my friend arrived along with my fiancé’s fries but his wings came out about 10 minutes later, and a few items tasted a bit off. I think I have learned my lesson about this location, and that I should go elsewhere next time.

Came here one evening to meet a friend for a beer. I did not realize that it was all you can eat wings. The all-you-can-eat wings are $ 12.99. My friend and I sat at the bar, had a couple of beers, we did not participate in all you can eat wings. Our bartender make sure that our beer was always nice and cold, and the service that evening was attentive but not overbearing. They did not have Guinness on tap. But they have it in a large can and poured into a pint glass for me. Like I said the service is very good, the restaurant was busy that evening, and looks like everybody was happy and in a good mood. Definitely worth a try.

Decided to take the fam out for a cheap night on the town. You know the middle class dinners. Sparky had zucchini fries, Louise had wings, Paula had wings as I had boneless. Was meh. Probs going to cater next time I’m in the office. Was good bar food.

The service is absolutely horrible. We were one of several tables that complained about how slow everything was coming out. The food came out before the drinks even made it our table, the food was cold, and there was a hair in the sauce. My girlfriend even saw the cook walk out of the kitchen with gloves on, scratch his head, and pull up his pants before walking back into the kitchen with the same gloves still on! We will not be returning as we have lost all faith in this location after already coming here for years. This location really needs to turn things back around.

I first stumbled upon Gators while attending UF. It’s a nice sports bar type restaurant with daily specials. I had lunch here and it was relatively slow during the Monday lunch time rush. I had a fish dip for an appetizer which was just mediocre and the wing special. The wing special was just okay and the fries were not very tasty. I’ll try other specials next time.

This is a standard sports bar. The food is not bad. The service is below average. During the cooler months they open up an outside area. They do allow smoking in this area however. Lots of big screen tv’s.

GREAT service from Jewelia, enjoying all you can eat wing night, however ordering grilled will take away from the sauce flavor as the smokey taste overpowers. Will definitely be back for many Monday’s to come as long as Jewelia is working!!!

This place is sort of gimmicky. There’s a large standing gator to greet you at the entrance. Odds are that you’ll want a photo with it. That’s probably the best part about this place. It’s a huge place and seems like it would be a perfect place to watch play-off sporting events. However, on this occasion, there was nobody there on a Saturday night. That’s not a good sign. We ordered fish n chips, burgers and some gator nuggets. It’s really difficult to get deep fried bar food wrong. However, on this occasion, the food was really not that great. The burger patty was over cooked and dry, the fries were hard and not fresh. The gator nuggets was 90% breading and 10% alligator. You can tell that somebody in the kitchen doesn’t really care about their job. The service was barely acceptable. Considering how empty the place was, it should have been better. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here ever again.

I went into Gator’s last night and was super surprised my experience was so amazing. The staff it’s always so friendly. My food was super hot and yummy. The prices aren’t too bad at all. It’s a great neighborhood feel and you feel like family from the time they say hello. They also have a great happy hour after 9pm and kids eat free on Tuesday nights.

This was my first time in Gators, I’d always heard great things about it. I will say that while the food was great our serve was horrible. She took orders separately so the orders came out far and between. When we finished she made sure to come by our table every 5 minutes to ask if we needed anything else and to mumble under her breathe that other people were waiting to be seated. Mind you it was fight night but the place was not anymore busier than any other weekend night. The party I was with did say that normally service is good and there’s no problem, so I’d go again but would definitely request to not sit in this servers section should she be there.

We have been going to this location for some time now and usually the service is hit or miss depending on how busy they are/how backed up the kitchen is. Tonight they were packed and got a walk in baseball team party. We told our server Jamie, who was AMAZING, that we’d move tables so the party could be grouped together. She went and spoke to one of the managers, Fran, who was unnecessarily RUDE to her for no reason. We ended up apologizing to our waitress since we felt that it was our fault she was mistreated. Jamie, with a smile on her face said no worries, and to enjoy our meal. Overall, the wings are great, the service varies, but the manager, FRAN, was rude to her staff which reflects poorly on this establishment.

For YEARS we have been going to Gators… for wings during the week for lunch, and on weekends after baseball games. We’ve had parties there, and it had been one of our favorite local hangouts. NOTANYMORE!!! New management /NO SERVICE /NO longer kid friendly /HORRIBLE food Quality. A party of 8 of us went a few months back when it was slow. The four boys were playing pool, and when a ball dropped the manager ripped the pool stick out of the boys hands and told them«no more» sending them back to the table. We did not find out about this until we left or we would have addressed the issue. The food took 45 minutes to come out — pasta was under cooked /fries cold /refills on drinks took forever. Our server explained they were a man down in the kitchen. A manager never came to see us, and we were charged the full amount for the pasta dishes. Our overall afternoon lasted nearly an hour and a half there. Not only have we not gone back, we have informed all of the base ball parents to bring their business elsewhere.

Well, we have been waiting an hour and a half for our food, apparently Gators cannot cook more than 4 meals at a time. Also we have not been offered drinks, but our waitress has such a sunny personality it makes up for it — not. There are several other restaurants within 100 yards of this awful place. Definitely go to one of them. If I could I would give zero stars.

It’s okay. Another mediocre run of the mill sports bar/restaurant chain. Fired food, dated décor, lots of TV’s. Fun for a group or to eat crappy food that you can tolerate for the sake of your favorite team no Hard Cider both times I went. Excuse: we ran out during last nights happy hour??? Hmmm. Ooookay. 3 stars for the staff! Super awesome, friendly, and great service both times I went. If it wasn’t for that this place would be at 1 star from me. May have to skip this place in the future though. Sorry guys… I’m a cider girl.

Four of us dined here on Wednesday, 02÷25÷15. We went for the all-you-can-eat wings. The good: Our server, Daniel, was great. He was polite, engaging and let us take a while to order since we all needed to catch up after having not seen each other in a while. The bad: The kitchen. We got our first order of wings in an acceptable amount of time. The second order took nearly one hour to come out of the kitchen. For a location advertising AYCE, you’d think the wings would be readily available. The«Peanut Butter & Jelly» and«Thai Peanut» versions were not very good. They were bland. The Honey Garlic was nice. The very bad: The booth seating. The hard wood benches are horrible. Ask for a table where the chairs have some padding. It could have been so much better, and sadly it wasn’t.

My preferred Gators Dockside always come here and never have issue with service or food so far. Great place to watch games on the weekend and of course a must for Monday night all you can eat wings. This particular one has a better atmosphere than the one in Ocoee or Altamonte because it’s more of an open layout. You can actually see all the TVs. And decent area for the pool tables to. And they always have great specials for big games and events.

Sheesh — what a dud! There was no one here. My coworker remembered this being a really fun place last year for the annual tradeshow. But, the place was totally remodeled. Our server was a nice, perky thing… but we were one and done!
