Been awhile since so I had to revisit. Still as delicious as ever. The only thing that sucks about this place is the traffic you have to deal with on Kirkman.

Picked up sushi for lunch. Got two sushi rolls and a small side salad for $ 10. Pretty good price and pretty damn good sushi!

My favorite sushi ever! It’s always so fresh and delicious. Really sets the bar high for other places. It’s also a clean restaurant and very intimate.

I am never on this side of Town so I turned to Unilocal to find somewhere to eat after an event at the Valencia west campus. It was the perfect stop after our event the place was packed which was a great sign! they kindly made space for us at the bar since the tables were all full. We had the volcano roll and the tuna tataki and both were awesome! The server and the sushi chefs were super nice! I don’t expect to be back this way anytime soon but if I am. This will definitely be a stop.

My absolute favorite sushi place. I find rolls here that I can’t find anywhere else. The drama queen is my favorite roll ever. Menu selection is huge and service is always excellent.

This place is very close to my house but it’s in a strip mall and we were reluctant to try it. Well, we finally did and are we glad we did! First, the décor is really cute and it has comfy booths. My barometer for a sushi place is the spicy tuna roll, and theirs is one of the best. They have and extensive menu of rolls, as well as a full non-sushi menu. We loved everything we tried(and we have tried six or seven things and have been back twice). Reasonably priced and the service was excellent. A great neighborhood sushi place.

After many recommendations to come here, a group of 13 of us came and had an incredible meal with no wait and nigiri that melted in our mouths. The best sushi roll(we shared to taste) we had was the«drama mama». They appreciate good presentation which makes for an even better experience. I don’t live near mikados but i will be back regularly since the meal is just not the same elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I just ate $ 53 of amazingness. We just moved to the Metrowest area, and I’m pretty sure we just became regulars. I order two pieces of eel from every sushi place I go to, and this was by far the best. If you wanna splurge, then you MUST try the Thai Pham roll. Bangerang.

My go-to sushi place in Orlando/Metrowest. The sushi here is not mind blowing by any means, but the consistency is definitely something to be admired. It’s still the same, great food that I first got acquainted with when I moved to Orlando. When I come here I know I will leave satisfied each and every time. I can’t say that for a lot of other places I frequent. Additionally, the service is always prompt and friendly. As for the actual food… I haven’t had everything on the menu, but can recommend the spicy tuna salad or the fried oysters as an appetizer. As for rolls, I typically get spicy tuna, eel and shrimp tempura, which are solid and full-fulling. If you want to splurge the Thai Pham roll is pretty awesome and my favorite of the signature rolls. I’ve also had the Yummy and Tango Mango roll here which were both good, but didn’t leave a lasting impression like the Thai Pham roll did. Also, not hugely important… but the miso soup here is a step above what I’m used to getting from similarly priced sushi restaurants. It’s not anything to write home about, but it also doesn’t taste like it came out of a packet — which is oh so common at these type of places. That said, spring for the onion soup instead(unless you hate onions)… you won’t regret it.

This is a good restaurant. They have a variety of sushi. I normally order the ACC roll. The salads are fresh and the soups are good. You have your choice of sake I recommend the Apple sskr a if you were looking for sweet sake. It is one of the few really good restaurant in the Metro West area. The staff is nice and friendly and they bring the food to you promptly. They are also amazing with takeout. You could call in your order and they will probably have it ready for you to pick up. It is a smaller restaurant so if you have a large group it would really behoove you to call ahead and make a reservation. If it is a small group you will be in and out in under an hour.

Went today for a quick bite and like always the food it’s so great and fresh. We had the Poison Spider Roll, OMG so delicious, with Sea food rice that matched perfect

Oh my goodness the ultimate sandwich is amazing. Liked the salad. Got another nondescript sort of roll. Prompt service prompt food, little warm towel and rolls came with those lovely curly bits of white crunchy stuff I love. Got the roll without crunch and they didn’t mind the request

My girlfriend and I just moved to an apartment a stone’s throw away from here and decided to try this place out, since we were looking for good, local sushi. The place itself — located in a small plaza in a quiet neighborhood, mostly residential surrounding. Inside, there are maybe 10 tables, one of them being very long, for any large parties. It’s super clean, a couple of TVs, some relaxing music, and a pretty big tropical fish tank. Of course, you can see the chefs preparing the rolls, and they ring a little gong when you tip them! We went on Friday night(just left, actually) and the place was just shy of being full, with regulars! All of the other guests seemed to know the servers personally, especially Rachel. Rachel actually served our dessert, she was really funny and sweet. She knew all the families coming in, which was super encouraging for us newbies. Service was quick, servers were so attentive and sweet. We were seated quickly, served quickly, and we ate quickly! It was so good! I got a Philadelphia roll and a Magic Roll(truly magical) and my girlfriend got two spicy tuna rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious and the plating was picturesque. After dinner, we ordered two fried cheesecakes with ice cream, and I loved how they plated them differently. Total bill was $ 48.14, so the price was right. We will definitely return. My girlfriend was raving after the first bite, and insisted we come every week! Thank you, Mikado Sushi! See you soon! :)

Best sushi in town hands down!!! Their sushi always taste fresh and they have a lot of great tasting signature rolls. The waitresses are friendly and attentive every time. My favorite roll is the Out of control roll, definitely a must-try. Other rolls I’ve tried and liked, to name a few, are Fuji Yama, Godzilla, Lobster grill, Drama Queen, Shogun, and Ultimate sandwich although it breaks apart easily it’s still delicious and worth getting. I really love coming here for the food and great service. Never had a problem or bad experience.

Great place for sushi. good quality, big portions and reasonable prices. One of my favorite rolls is the Godzilla roll! My sister has gotten a couple of the bento boxes and they are huge. Enough to feed 2 people.

This is a classic sushi restaurant with pleasing décor and a nice selection of sushi and cooked items. It’s a particularly good choice for lunch, with an assortment of bento boxes, or the option of selecting any two rolls plus soup or salad. I like the sushi and sashimi lunch, which offers a generous assortment of sushi, nigiri and a California roll plus soup or salad for a reasonable price.

To be honest, Mikado is probably one of my top three places for sushi in the Orlando area. Why? Well, put simply they have fresh, authentic sushi at reasonable prices. My favorite thing to do when I go to any sushi restaurant is try out a few specialty rolls. And the wide array of specialty rolls available here means you can get something unique every time you visit! My only complaint would be that because they are a small family owned restaurant, they have strange hours. They’re open for lunch, close briefly, and then open up again later for dinner. So basically the best thing to do is to just stop in for an evening dinner to enjoy the sushi and quaint Japanese themed atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a great restaurant in the area and after a Unilocal search we happened upon Mikado Sushi. I hadn’t had sushi since moving to Florida so I figured it was worth trying. Upon first inspection the place is less than impressive. It’s located in a strip mall that looks fairly typical and unimpressive. I’ve learned from experience, however, that you can’t judge a book by its cover and this is definitely the case with this restaurant. The inside of the restaurant looks like your typical sushi restaurant. Nothing fancy, but still nice. We sat down and ordered the Miso Soup, which was fantastic. We then ordered a few different rolls to share. My favorite was the Chicken Tempura. It’s to die for! By the time I was done with the soup and the various sushi we ordered I was pretty full. However, I had to try the fried ice cream, which was also pretty fantastic. I just couldn’t stop eating! I’ve eaten here now a couple of times and I just can’t get enough. The service is great, the food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and I always leave here in a great mood. I’ve even had dreams about this place. I will definitely be back!

Really good experience. The service it’s fast and friendly, the fish it’s fresh and tasty. They have a good variety of sakes. Fair price, clean, smell good, not like a sushi market. I’ll come back !
