Got the Japanese Pan Noodles again and it was on point. It’s a vegetarian dish but I choose to add meat which made things better for me haha.

My first time at this new restaurant and chain. Service was friendly and informative. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken to go. The meal was hot and delicious. Plenty of chicken to last the entire meal. I look forward to trying another dish soon.

I wanted to love this place, but sadly it’s just bland. Tried it twice still nothing to write home about.

Noodles and Company is usually a good quick service food spot however my experience at this particular location was less than stellar. I ordered the Tuscan Wheat pasta bowl with grilled chicken and my BF ordered the Met Sandwich which comes with grilled chicken and we shared a flatbread. My noodle bowl had extremely overcooked dry chicken that was almost like chewing bark it was so over done. My BF’s sandwich was very sloppily put together which was probably a good thing as he noticed when putting it back together that there was something other than chicken inside but there was were a few chunks of pork that had gotten mixed in. He absolutely does not eat any kind of pork so that was an immediate turnoff. When he brought it back to the counter they were examining it and seemed to not understand the issue. They almost seemed reluctant to remake the sandwich! What concerns me is that what if it was not just a personal preference(religious or not) but if it was a food allergy. I heard the guy in the back making the sandwich was calling out loud that he was making the non-pork version of it this time. Seriously? The next sandwich was made fine and the person working at the counter offered a complimentary cookie or dessert which we turned down as it was nice but not necessary. The flatbread was fine and tasted as it normally does with no issues.

Who thought it was a good idea to create a fast food place that serves Americanized versions of the noodle-based dishes of Asia and Italy? Weird. I don’t get it. I’ve been twice. Once I went«Asian» and once I went«Italian». Both times the noodles were over-cooked. Both times the whole dish tasted, for lack of a better word, gloppy. Both times I lamented, «why did I come here?»

I’ve seen Noodle Bowl as it was in construction and finally decided to try it. I thought it was just Asian food and am pleasantly surprised there are different countries such as Mediterranean and American here. When you walk in it is some what like a Chipotle entry but it stops there. You get to view a huge menu on the wall. It wasn’t hard to find something that looked good and called some cravings. We had the Thai hot pot, garlic bread, and beef strogenoff. The lady at the register was nice and patient. At the register there are some sweets to choose from such as cookies and rice crispie treats. We paid and we’re given a number for our table. The dining area and atmo is lounge café like with warm lamps dropping down. They have different sitting areas as you can in my pictures. Then they have a self service station for soft drinks and condiments. They seem to serve wine and beer here too. Interesting! We decided to sit outside since it was freezing inside. Our food came out in decent time and we enjoyed everything we ate. Definitely a good place to try when you want food fast that are somewhat homey dishes.

The service is great but of all the times I’ve been here(6 or 7) I haven’t really liked my food. The chicken has an odd texture and the dishes always seems like they are missing a something. Not sure why. The people are nice and the place it clean but I just don’t like the food.

(3⁄100) Noodles and Company in SoDo was a little more than what I expected. I am very pleased with my food and service today. I hadn’t been to a Noodles and Company since I lived in Iowa a few years ago. So after a long day of grocery shopping-ha-my man and I stopped in to check it out. There was a wide menu selection. We both zoomed in on the Asian inspired dishes(not surprisingly). I went with the Indonesian Peanut with chicken and he with the Curry dish with pork. We also had the cheesy bread-because ‘Murica, Oh and a homemade rice crispy treat-because #fatkidforlife. The bread was so yummy and the marinara sauce was freshly made with real tomatoes. Our main courses were also great. The curry wasn’t spicy, so he slathered it up in Sriracha that we could bring to our table. The Peanut dish was the best thing I tried, but the chicken was meh. Next time, I am getting the Peanut dish with pork. That is definitely the answer. I thought I was going to sample my dessert-but it was delicious, so we ate it all. :) The staff was polite and answered any questions we had. The food was delivered to our table and cleaned up quickly after we were done. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. They also had a beer and wine selection. I wasn’t in the mood, but there was a Fat Tire I hadn’t tried yet and will next time-which will likely be soon, as the restaurant is near my grocery store and there are so many more menu items to try!

Came in to try it but probably won’t come back. The restaurant is confused on what it wants to be. The manager met me at the door and explained the menu. That was a nice gesture. The cashier was over excited and almost obnoxious.(Btw, a grown man with pink hair??? Seriously???). He needs to tone down his excitement a notch. The food was just ok. The portions are big but the flavors just weren’t there. The restaurant was not busy and we were the only order yet the kitchen managed to get our order wrong. There is a coffee/wine bar in the middle of the seating area. Not sure what the purpose of that is. Drink station is hidden behind a wall. Overall it was ok but just not great. Even the background music is confusing to the type of restaurant. This place just needs to find its identity.

OMGOODNESS! I AMINLOVEEEEEE! Light, fresh, DELICIOUS& feature flavors for every palate: ASIAN(of course) but also ITALIAN, MEDITERRANEAN, &OLDFASHIONEDAMERICAN noodle dishes, also SALADS, sandwiches & soups! YUMMM! Would have given five stars because of only one downer, brand new, they need to step it up with dining room cleanliness, tables & the tray delivering my food needed to wiped properly. Hope they correct it or it could end up being a problem. But OMGOODNESSITSSOGOOD it made me not care as much about the yicky tray

Both times I have gone the portion size for the Japanese noodles were half a bowl while my wife’s Indonesian peanut was over flowing. It tasted good but inconstant portion size turned me off to this place.

Great food, good service and very fast. I am very pleased to have lunch here since they have plenty of vegetarian options and it is very convenient. I love the setting of a sort of fast food place but with healthy eating options. I recommend the Penne Rosa pasta. They even had gluten free options!

Saw this just opened up on Orange Ave so decided to give it a try. When you walk in seems similar to quick service meet sit down like Pei Wei or Chipotle. You have to select your pasta. We went for pad Thai and classic macaroni & cheese. You are able to add a protein, we did chicken and steak but they do offer other options including tofu. As an appetizer we did the cheesy bread. The atmosphere is more upscale than a quick service and there is a mini bar surrounded by wine bottles and a coffee maker. The food came out quickly which was nice, but the price is rather high for the style more like the price of a classic sit down restaurant.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I ordered the Thai Curry Soup & potstickers. The potstickers are made with chicken. The soup wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it was going to be and my potstickers were kind of cold. The potstickers and the sauce was a great combo but I definitely wouldn’t come back here to try anything else. The place is nice and the staff is friendly and the outdoor seating on a nice day is even better!

Great food, super fresh and moderately priced. Took a new-thing-hater there and he actually enjoyed his meal. The tea could be a bit better, though.

This is my first experience with Noodles and Company. I like the broad selection of styles of dishes-not just Asian-that are easy to read at the front of the line. I especially appreciate the calorie counts clearly posted. I had the Bangkok curry full size. The portion was decent, and the price was OK. It tasted like a good healthy meal. My only complaint is that the curry was somewhat sugary rather than true curry taste. One would not mistake Noodles & Co. for an authentic Thai restaurant, but I can see it becoming a lunch habit. It seems to be a worthy addition to the fast food universe that is Orange-and-Michigan.

Based on the two previous reviews, I was worried our experience wasn’t going to be great, but it was! Upon entering we were prompty greeted by Jennifer with a smile and helpful attitude. She went over the menu with us and alerted us to their vegetarian options without us ever mentioning it, explaining flavors and spice levels. Once we decided– the Japanese Pan and Pesto Cavatappi with a side tomato basil bisque, she took our orders and covered all the bases well. Size of the bowls, side soup or added to my meal, salad, extras, etc. Once we got our food, my pesto cavatappi was far from poorly cooked, sauceless, or bland. It was simple, but well executed. And oh so tasty. The tomato bisque was excellent as well, chunky with tomatoes and onions– not thin or watery. My boyfriend’s Japanese Pan was different than I would have expected but I think I just don’t like the texture of soba noodles and it could have used more shiitake mushrooms– but overall reasonable. Being vegetarians, it’s often hard to eat out, but this place has lots of vegetarian options, organic tofu, gluten free pasta, and service with a smile. After reading the poor reviews I really felt compelled to give them a thumbs up here. Welcome to the neighborhood guys!
