We’ve been to On The Rocks twice now. The bar is pretty new, clean, and not crowded. It is a great place to start your night downtown. We are experimenting with the infused vodkas. The first one we tried was the melon, and it tasted a bit off, like the melon had gone bad. We wanted to try the spicy pepper, but the bartender said that one is usually served in Bloody Mary’s, and that’s not much of a late night drink for me. The music has been fine, just the usually downtown bar music. The DJ this Saturday was pretty good. Overall, this bar is a cool place, and we’ll keep going back. (Also, they have a great ladies restroom. It’s clean and has a place to hang your purse. Lovely!)

On The Rocks in Downtown Orlando has great bartenders and good music. Stopped by for a drink with some friends. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Music was played at a volume that was conducive to carrying conversations without the need to shout. I’m not sure how the scene is during the weekend peak-times, but on a Sunday afternoon it was great for what I was looking for.

Every Tuesday, there is a great comedy show with local and national comedians performing for free. The staff is very friendly, the prices are really reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

When I walked by this spot a few weeks ago during the day, it really caught my eye. The white detail outside with«On The Rocks» on the opaque windows, I thought it would be much more swanky when I arrived last night. However, it appears to just be another downtown bar. I really do dig the vibe they give off with their style and adore the open room when you walk in, however, the offerings are just like any other bar. No fancy cocktail menus here, just the usual. It is very clean since it’s so new and the bartenders were nice but so far, with my first experience, just an average bar. They were showing Gremlins so that was fun. If they added some couches in the front room and some type of featured cocktails, I think it would be able to be a distinctive spot but for now, it’s just a blender in my eyes.
