As a followup, I’m giving this place an extra star, but only because they finally did fix part of the problem after about 2 months. The crackling sound is gone from the speakers, but now the sub-woofer channel isn’t working so I guess I’ll have to get a new system after all. They didn’t try to charge me anything more for the additional work, though I’m definitely not taking it back there to get fixed again. And I was now told by the owner that his 90 day warranty evidently means he has up to 90 days to fix the problem, and if he can’t fix it in 90 days, THEN he will give me my money back. Hmmm… not exactly the way the usual 90 day warranty works in my experience… Orlando Electronic warranty as found on the invoice: «Service warranty is covered for 90 days for parts, and 45 days for labor. If other parts break down during warranty period, They’ll be replaced & extra fees will be charged. Equipment left satisfactory condition. We won’t be responsible for Any Unit(s) left over 30 days of completion. Thank You »
