This place could hardly be more disappointing. Positives: The food is edible. Salad was green, no rotten lettuce or anything. But the place itself: Dirty, the bathrooms unspeakable, the place is really in poor shape, the pizza was greasy and wet, and the appetizers came out after salads and slices because, well, I guess the pizza finished first. Not a place I would recommend. I feel bad giving out 1 star but, well, what can you do?

My stomach hurts as I am writing this. First, the food: I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a garden salad and my husband got garlic rolls, so I had one of those. The salad was fine, exactly what you would expect a garden salad to be. The pizza was, not as bad a school cafeteria pizza but close, gummy cheese, thin yet doughy crust… not really appetizing. And the garlic bread came after we were done eating our meal. Second, the ambiance: If you care what the kitchen looks like in a restaurant then don’t go to the bathroom. The bathroom is a broken urinal, and a toilet that might as well be in a warehouse where truckers store their loads. There was a tiny bit of soap and nothing to dry my hands with. The table cloth at the table was dirty, it had grease marks on it and crumbs, but it was set for new customers. Third, the service: It was good and the cook really appeared to care about his food, he asked us if we liked it twice. I lied.

My first(and last!) experience at PieZano’s was absolutely horrible. The interior of the restaurant looks completely run down. With paint flaking /absent, dirty carpeting, and a general unfinished(booth might fall apart) atmosphere. There were multiple, disgusting stains on the first two table cloths that they tried seating us at. The staff is completely rude and unprofessional! Told us «tuff luck» when we tried to use one of their coupons. There was no logical reasoning for the rejection, they just didn’t want to take it! Spotted a cook(hopefully NOT the one that cooked our pizza) complaining about having«swollen glands» while he massaged his neck in front of the waitstaff. Will NEVER return here! BEWARE! I would check the health inspection rating if you’re considering this place!

Service was, well, weird. And the food was salty, but what pizza place isn’t! Good news, the calzones are delicious, with ample fresh fillings, and I’m a calzone lover. Other entrees have been hit or miss, but we keep coming back. Added bonus, this is an iDine /Rewards Network participant!

Stuck between a «Beef People» Winn Dixie and the yummo Lam’s Garden, this little pizza shop was just begging me to check it out. I walked in and upon opening the door I was greeted from behind the counter immediately. There are booths to dine in and the inside was pretty nice for a small Italian pizza parlor. It actually had a bit of a sitcom setup feel, décor wise. I asked what their best pie was and they said, «we can put anything on it you want!» Yeah well that didn’t really answer my questions. So I went with the basic medium cheese and their«gladiator» style. I believe the gladiator had peperoni, sausage(round medium thick slices), onions, and green peppers. Overall it was pretty tasty pizza and the service was pretty friendly. $ 25 for 2 mediums. Now, discussing with the two people( Unilocalers as well) I shared it with, they both said they would give it 3 stars and I was saying 4, then upon further discussion and contemplation, I had to agree… 3 stars for an A-OK. I would eat it again but I would not go out of my way for it and I would def try another place for the first time over hitting it up for seconds. Overall though, pretty tasty, not too greasy and they did not skimp on the cheese!

Coming to Proccolino’s was an accident. Kind of a stumble around in an aimless stupor looking for a place to eat near the Barnes and Noble across the street. We came in, were feeling skeptical due to the lack of people on a Saturday night, but trekked forward nonetheless. We are very glad we did. In addition to having the NFL playoffs on TV, the food and service were both outstanding. The menu has alot of options. Many kinds of exciting pastas, strombolis, calzones, pizza, anything else you can think of. We ended up opting to share an 18″ pizza which comes with 8 giant slices of goodness. For the pizzas, you can choose your own toppings or opt for a «classic» pizza. The pizza title is always preceded by «alla.» For instance, in our case, we got a pizza«alla margherita.» It came with basil, mozzerella, and tomatoes AND it was awesome. The pizza is made fresh right when you order it. The ingredients are awesome. It was a very tomatoey pizza that really hit the spot after having my previous 2 days of meals as Cheerios. The garlic knots to start were perfect in texture, composition, and taste. The servers were very friendly, and I liked the quiet enviornment. We learned that they are in a transition of management and may change the name or some qualities of the restaurant soon. I hope they don’t change too much because the pizza was great. One thing to make this place more appealing on a weekend night would be to dim the lights a little bit and have more of a nighttime atmoshere. Other than that, the service and food was terrific and I recommend it.
