Parchment is currently having a store closing sale. They will shutter on June 1.

Nice place for stationery, and for custom invitations, etc. The women in my family always like to have nice stationery on hand, and I can find it here. I also like to have some for myself. I have received excellent service, even when looking for inexpensive items. For the ladies there’s merchandise from Vera Bradley and Brighton which I’ve heard of, and other names I’ve not heard of. Parchment can be high-​priced, but they offer some items that you might have trouble finding elsewhere.

This is place is completely adorable. They have lots of GREAT gift ideas from the expensive to the affordable.
Parchment has a whole back section devoted to custom invitations and announcements. There are books and books of them ranging from the ordinary to the different. I spent some time perusing the announcements (birth, graduation, etc…) that they had displayed on a back wall. This is definitely a great place to go if you want something that your friends haven’t seen before! The unique aspect of it comes at a price though. These things were expensive!
I’m not into the whole Vera Bradley fad… but if that’s your thing, they definitely have enough of the stuff to fulfill your needs. Because we’re nearing the holidays, they had an adorable display up front with gorgeous (and pricey) ornaments and home décor.
My husband and I played a little guessing game — I’d hold up an item and he would guess how much it costs. We had a laugh after I discovered a «custom» picture frame (painted blue and adorned with seashells and rhinestones) that went for $ 86.00! Good lord!
All in all, a fun little store with great gift ideas for anyone!

Another great find for all the ladies. This stationary/​gift/​invitation shop is super cute and in a great spot in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.
Featuring a wide assortment of Vera Bradley products, they make monogramming it easy. To get it done in store, it’s only $ 15. As with most other notable women-​friendly shops, they sell Pandora jewelry and Brighton accessories. Nougat is another line they carry that seemed to be a quality name for bath and body products. The other items they sell range from fuzzy animal slippers, party supplies, Christmas decorations and reversible purses.
Because they specialize in invitations, they have devoted the back portion of the store to catalogs and binders filled with ideas; something an engaged couple could really utilize. They also have many gifts that a bride and groom would really enjoy.
And if you have your kids with you, the left side of the store features a beautiful child-​inspired mural with displays of toys and knick knacks just for them. If you’re husband is there too, he can take a load off on their pink couch while you do some damage.

Plenty of Stationary!
It may sound weird, but Parchment is a store that specializes in stationary. And while you might not want any stationary going in, this place has some cool stuff and you just might be inspired!
The Good:
Designer Paper: The most predominant paper here is designed by Crane & co. which I learned is the same place that supplies the paper used to make money. Their stationary is very ornate and detailed, and sending a thank-​you note on this paper REALLY shows you care.
One stop invitations: Whether you are graduating, turning 16, or getting married, this place has you covered as far as invitations are concerned. They can help you pick an appropriate paper, give you suggestions as to content, and box the whole thing up for you so it is one less thing for you to worry about!
The Bad:
Premium Prices: This place is *quite* expensive and if you want custom invitations or thank you notes, expect to pay more than a hundred big ones.
Overall, Parchment is a cool place to go to look at stationary, and is a must-​stop if you are having a big birthday or wedding party
