Stopped in for dinner yesterday. After talking it over with the very personable server, I decided to get a large order of the rice noodle salad with spicy lemongrass chicken in the hopes it would be enough for my lunch today. Excellent choice! The lemongrass chicken was saucy and flavorful enough that no additional sauce was needed… The vegetables were fresh and crisp… And after eating the salad part last night, the leftover chicken and noodles, made an amazing cold lunch today. Actually, I wish I had some more for dinner… The service was great, with two servers working in tandem. Three other couples came in right after us but we were all served quickly and efficiently. The young lady was particularly personable and even found out some information from her father(the owner, maybe?) about another Vietnamese restaurant my husband used to frequent. The décor is kind of bare bones, but for a quick, inexpensive but tasty meal, Phở K5 is an excellent choice!

Phở K5 is a little gem in the Milk District, especially if you’re a vegetarian! They have several vegetarian & vegan friendly options but by far their best is the vegetarian phở. We’re talking mushrooms, delicious broth, noodles, delicious toppings… just thinking about it makes me drool. I’m serious. Plus, their portions are huge, most of the times I have left overs which taste even better the next day. Phở K5 is THE place to go for phở in Orlando!

Lunch last month was so good I returned. I had the grilled chicken and beef noodle soup. I went back two weeks ago and had to throw it out because there was a roach crawling around in the bag.disgusting.

Big portions and small cost. Had the beef combo bowl of phở and the pork summer rolls and both were incredible. I was amazed at the pricing also. Paid for 2 large beef combos the summer rolls and a beer and the check only came to just over $ 20.00. There is a lot of vietnamese to pick from in this area but this place is a great spot when seeing a show at The Plaza Live as its right down the street!

I usually switch back and forth between the Vermicelli with pork skewers and the delicious chicken phở. The broth is like drinking liquid happiness!

Decided to come here for lunch the other day. The food was pretty good… I had some of their pork summer rolls and some phở with beef which I enjoyed. The prices are very reasonable. My issue was that I was one of the few people in the restaurant and the service was lacking. My server was barely around and seemed surprised whenever I needed him. I’m concerned about how the service would be on a busier day! Overall, there’s a lot of Vietnamese places in the area and I’ve had better. Not sure that I’ll be back any time soon.

There’s a lot of Phở restaurants in this part of town, but Phở K5 is a good contender for best. The flavor at Phở K5 is great, but my favorite part of this spot are the options! Many phở spots have summer rolls, but do they have an option of veggie, shrimp, pork, beef, BBQ, etc? The same goes for the bowl of noodles, lots of options including a vegan option(woohoo!). In addition there are SIZEOPTIONS. Small or large. How wonderful. PS, the peanut sauce included with the summer rolls is perfect. Some places opt for a peanut/plum sauce, but I like the original. The restaurant has been clean both times I have visited. Service feels a bit slower than the larger establishments, but everything seems fresh, so I don’t mind. A short walk across the street to the neighboring beer garden makes this a great(and inexpensive) night out.

I never had Phở before and Our server was really helpful and patient. As an appetizer we had the spring rolls, veggie and shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce was great. Our server saw I was in between having the Lemon chicken and trying the phở, so he suggested I do small plates and a small appetizer bowl of phở so I could try it out. The small size portions were a good size and the large were huge, enough to take home. Great atmosphere and experience overall.

Average food for an average place. Ordered the beef phở(size small) and struggled to finish it. Good size portion but was not the best. Bean sprouts and mints that are brought out first on a plate to add to your phở looked old and dried out. Bean sprouts were more brown than the white color it’s supposed to be. Was not happy with that. Server was friendly but service wasn’t the best. Didn’t bother to check on us or refill drinks not once which was unacceptable because my party of 3 and another party of 3 were the only customers there. I guess the slow service they have says a lot about it. Just like another Unilocaler mentioned, there’s too many other great Vietnamese restaurants out there to even give this mediocre place another try.

Best phở in the area! I always come here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and they remember regulars, which is always nice.

Fantastic Phở, summer rolls and an array of other dishes. Laid back atmosphere with quick and friendly service. The food was extremely fresh and flavorful. Great selection of phở for a great price.

We stopped by this Phở place as we drove by after realizing 7even Bites was closed for the day. It was delicious. The crispy pork egg roll was absolutely incredible. Wonderfully crispy and mouth-watering. The BBQ pork summer roll was pretty good as well but not as good as the pork egg roll. I got the Phở Ga’(noodle soup with chicken) and it was very tasty. The only reason I didn’t rate this place higher is because there are better Phở places within a close vicinity of this restaurant. The outside appearance is definitely surpassed with the food. Service was quick and friendly. My girlfriend got the fresh squeezed limeade, and it was delicious.

Orlando has been a serious disappointment on the Vietnamese food front, but Phở K5 has been a real bright spot. The phở is delicious, the spring rolls are excellent, the Vietnamese iced coffee is great, and the service is very friendly. This is, at this point, the only Vietnamese restaurant in Orlando where I will eat.

Not going to mince words with this review, this is my new favorite place to eat. Some reasons are no-brainers, others are specific to me when I eat out. Let me break it down: Restaurant — The restaurant is very clean, and the outside has got a cool neon glow going on. The inside is basic, not flashy, and certainly not dirty. Service — I can go on and on about the service. Some servers in other restaurants just go through the motions, but after coming here a few times already, its been fun talking to the wait staff, and listen to them chat back and forth. And call this self-serving and backwards, but I love hanging out and having a few beers prior to dinner, and vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to up until now have been nearly impossible to carry out this tradition, it’s just been hard trying to get the service back to the table frequently. Maybe one beer is all they expect a person to drink? So, big time kudos to these guys, they are always on top of it. Food — The ginger lemongrass chicken I’ve gotten twice, and each time has been awesome. I can’t remember what I had my first time(everyone remembers their first time, lol, well I forgot), but I think it was phở. Their menu is very competitively priced, and the portion size is generous as well. So what else? I’m not sure, but this is definitely on my short list of dinner hangouts in the foreseeable future. Highly recommended.

Phở K5’s delicious food makes up for its average interior appearance. The restaurant is clean, but nothing special as far as décor and ambience. However, the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. I had a small bowl of phở with tofu as my protein. I highly recommend this dish for vegetarians. The soup base was so flavorful on its own and the tofu was a firmer consistency so I didn’t miss out on having any meat. I would be happy to come back again, but might try some other local spots first.

This is the best Phở in town. Their broth and beef ribs are lovingly known in our family as CRACK… as they are so addictive. 5 out of 5. Everyone must try. ok

This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Their beef broth with noodles is a must have appetizer and we love the beef short ribs for an entrée. Even the kids who don’t usually like any thing but burgers and fries enjoyed the food here – very flavorful!

Full disclosure– I am a Vietnamese food fiend. Having lived in Mills50(aka Little Vietnam) for over a year now I cannot get enough of this healthy, fresh cuisine! Phở K5 was an extremely pleasant surprise! I felt a bit daring and ordered the BBQ pork summer rolls(as opposed to the veggie or shrimp ones I usually order at my fave Phở spots). The moment they arrived I knew I was in for a treat. Visually, I could tell that the rice paper they use is a higher quality then I’m used to. The roll tended to fall apart a bit at the end due to its open ends(this was new for me too), but the pork was fantastic and I will absolutely be ordering it again… and again… and again. Then it was time for Phở. They have a great selection, but after chatting with the VERY helpful server I went with the Phở Tai(noodle soup with sliced rare beef). The broth was wonderfully seasoned and based upon a previous Unilocal review– I was sure to order the small size and still had plenty to take home for leftovers! We also ordered the Lemon Grass Chicken and it was equally impressive(though a bit spicy for my weak taste!). Though I didn’t go vegetarian this time, I’ll be happy to bring some of my meat-averse friends since their menu is full of vegetarian options. In the end– Great Phở and great service means I’ll be returning soon!

Oh yeah. We were waiting for this place to open, and here it is. Phở K5(which I pronounce as two words, the second of which is «Five», because I’m an immature heathen) has one of those menus that has you planning your next three visits before you’ve even started your meal. The phở is great, flavorful without overdoing the anise, putting it high on my list right off the bat. The summer rolls are wrapped well and served with a peanut sauce that is very good, although maybe not something that stands out as much different than what you get at the myriad other summer-roll-serving restaurants in the ViMi area. I really enjoyed a BBQ combo plate, which consisted of a selection of BBQ pork, beef, and chicken on a bed of broken rice. Lots of great flavor in all three meats, this is a great choice if you like the BBQ options but you’re not sure which one to try. I’m looking forward to a return trip! I’ve got more things to try!

I was craving Vietnamese and remembered driving by this place a week ago. I have been trying to expand beyond our regular spots so I convinced my husband to eat here. It’s located in the popular Milk District right off Bumby close to Robinson. We went on a Friday night around 630p and there were several people there but nowhere close to packed. The longer we were there the place filled up quickly. It’s a brightly lit up and spacious spot with plenty of booths. They had a nice sized menu but it wasn’t terribly overwhelming. They had the typical spring and summer rolls, phở selections, as well as rice plates and stir fry options. I ordered a fresh limeade to start with. When it came out, it was in one of those plastic cups you get a McD’s small sundae in. My husband even noted the disappointed look on my face. For $ 3.00, it seemed like a rip off. The summer rolls(2 to an order) and my husband’s fried spring roll came out soon after. The spring rolls are one to an order. Seemed a bit odd. He didn’t think it was anything special but ok. The summer rolls were good but the serving of peanut sauce with it was not as generous as what I am used to at other establishments. Our actual entrée items were good. I had the phở gau(chicken) and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed his rice plate with grilled chicken and beef. We would come back for those items. Service was kinda sorta lacking. We got our food promptly but then the restaurant filled up and we weren’t really checked on and it was obvious they were short staffed. My husband had to ask for a refill of his water. We really have no complaints about the food. I know that this is a new spot working out their kinks. There were just some negative observations which hopefully the restaurant will take as constructive criticism and improve upon: 1)One of the previous reviewers noted that the employees were wearing flip flops! He was right! It was a complete turn off and it is a huge violation. Not to mention, imagine what would happen if they slip while carrying bowls of phở(I work at a law firm and see too many slip and falls). Total lawsuit waiting to happen. 2) One of the servers had extremely long hair way down her back. Anyone in food service should pull back their hair. I don’t enjoy finding hair in my food. That would kill any dining experience for me. 3)Throughout our entire meal, we kept hearing the humming noise and ding of the microwave as well as when they would open and slam the microwave door. If I wanted to hear that, I would’ve eaten at home. I would suggest playing some loud music or moving the microwave away from the window where the food is coming out. This is a great location and I think if those kinks are worked out it would be super successful.
