Food was great. Service was not so great. It was a bit pricey but what’s not pricey around Disney World? When you order a 20 ounce beer you get to keep your glass. The kids loved it when the animals started making noise.

Pros — food tastes ok — ambience Cons — long waiting list — food takes a lot of time to come(around 30 – 45 mins) — Limited menu(doesn’t seem fair especially when you wait for an hour to get in) — the place is NOT worth what they charge.(They should be charging 1⁄3 of all the listed menu items. A veggie burger for $ 20 is just downright outrageous) — A/C is cranked way to high.

Rain forest café is a cool place for the kids to eat since The restaurant is decked out like you are sitting in the forest. They have robotic animals on the wall and ceiling that move from time to time and make noise. They also have a huge fish tank in the entranceway which is really neat as well. The food is average and the service was decent but there is nothing special about this place beyond the sights and sound. Prices are higher since it’s Disney but you get a discount if you are a season pass holder.

Worst experience of my vacation, horrendously over priced, poor service, air con was icy cold… Poor quality food, basically over priced McDonalds in a jungle setting… Despite waiter stating he could provide us with anything we wanted, we asked for changes of potatoes/fries and change to veg… Food came as described in menu and told by waiter that was how we should expect it… As stated in menu!!! No choice Avoid like the plaque and travel to some of the better and cheaper restaurants in Lake Buena Vista.

If walking all day in Animal Kingdom has not tired you at all, this is the place to eat when leaving when the Park closes because you’ll have to walk a mile to you car when finished because Disney stops tram service soon after park closes and more than an hour before a park goer is finished. My meal was ok, though overpriced and server, Erin, was efficient and delightful. But it is stupid that neither Disney nor the restaurant post signs warning that eating here means your desert will be a mile long walk to your car!

Great atmosphere, nice people but almost imp possible to from outside. Don’t trust your GPS on this one. The food was lousy and timing terrible. Apps never made it, food cooked incorrectly. Just not good. Disney to me never gets food right. Too bad. So much fun but brace yourself when you order.

I love the Rainforest Café at the Animal Kingdom. It is just at the entrance of the park, and can be accessed from the inside or outside of the park — you do not need park tickets to get in. The theming is brilliant — and the food is delicious too.
