Rusty’s offers patrons all of the amenities of a sports bar(Steelers bar during NFL games) with an Irish-American menu. With 10+ flat screens, sports packages and drink specials, spending an afternoon here is EASY! I love the flatbreads here, although they get cold pretty quickly, so eat up while its in front of you! They also offer a half flatbread/salad combo, so you don’t feel like you are eating an ENTIRE pizza alone :) Wings are delish and beer selection is standard. HH is standard — 45 cent wings, $ 1 off draft and $ 3 wells. The staff at Rusty’s are great! I am not really into the bands that play there, but they have Trivia with teams — good for bar tabs — and it is a blast!

I don’t think I’ve ever frequented a bar just for the food. I usually go for the multiple flat screen TVs and good drink specials, which Rusty’s has o’plenty. They bar alone is lined with 10 flat screens and several more are placed throughout the restaurant. They have weekday happy hour from 3−7pm that includes $ 2 domestics, 2.50 wells, and .45 wings. Ladies night is Wednesdays, with 2−4−1 drinks from 8−10pm. Friday and Saturdays include live music with no cover charge, but with football season starting up, I usually spend Sundays at the bar with some wings and beer! See ya there. Although, official hours close at 2am, the staff will close early if business is slow.

I went a few times to this place when it was the scoreboard grill, located in a strip mall next to Supercuts and Publix. As far as strip mall bars go, this is no different. The Happy Hour is decent enough for the apathetic to not bother looking elsewhere, and the menu is just enough that it’s worth it not to stay at home. Now that this bar has taken on its Irish moniker, the food has gotten a bit better, or at least themed, offering shepherd’s pie and scotch eggs over burgers and wings. The live music caters to an older crowd, mainly Bruce Springstein cover bands and Journey tribute acts, to give you an idea. Cool, if you live close, not worth the commute otherwise.
