Great local Irish pub. One of the most fun St. Patrick’s locations around.

Good Irish watering hole. It’s been here as long as I can remember and it looks lovingly worn. I came here briefly to meet my sister who had joined some of her friends. My sisters friends were regulars and had arrived for a monthly meeting of an Irish group. This Thursday evening they had an amazingly authentic sounding Irish group. There were about 5 of them huddled in a corner. They were really good. Very casual, very neighborhood pub feel. Good price on pints. There is a small menu(it doesn’t include fish and chips). Good for a drink with mates.

Friendly local pub with great pies and Irish stew. Nice selection of imports on tap. Live traditional Irish music every-other Wednesday!

I love this place, that being said, don’t come here till they start investing in their bar for their customers. Seriously guys, put some money back in the place. Upgrade your sales system. You have a cork board with more than 70 credit cards hanging with paper tabs. Your staff is all over the place and no one is staying in one place to take orders. There’s crazy women trying to fight you behind the bar, maybe a bouncer or 2? It’s St. Patty’s day! People are going to be drunk. It was 7pm when I waited in line to order food, finally by 7:33 I was able to order and it turns out you’re out of corned beef and cabbage… That’s after the 1 hour wait the kitchen was on hold for cause you got slammed. Who runs out of corned beef and cabbage that early? Anyway, we’ll finish the beers, I’ll leave my credit card here cause EFF standing in line to waste my holiday, and we’ll head to somewhere with a real effing system. You should probably get a good profit today, invest in your bar… At least for you’re patrons

Listening to live Irish music and hanging with locals at a authentic Irish pub. You’ll think the front door is a magical portal directly to Ireland. The staff is kind and can pour a great pint. Decent selection on draft. Cozy and dark. Good place for a date, but bring your friends here instead. Steel tip darts. Pool.

First time visit but not my last! The Pub is located in an odd little strip shopping center with other«International» businesses. It looks like they play darts on Mondays. It seemed like everyone know each other. I ordered a Smithwick’s Irish Ale for $ 4.50 and a Steak & Mushroom Pie for $ 8.25. Everything was great! I’m looking forward to trying another one of their drafts on my next visit, they have quite a few to choose from. The Steak & Mushroom Pie is probably like what most Americans would call a Pot Pie, tender pieces of steak, with fresh mushrooms, in a brown sauce, topped with a home made flaky pastry crust.(They also have a chicken version with a cream sauce.) It was served piping hot with a dinner roll.

Greatness in drinking. Here we have the LeBron James of Irish pubs. It all feels very realistic, not only in the sense that it exists consistently through spacetime, but also because this is how I imagine things to be in Ireland and probably the other British isles too. There is enchanting Irish music Wednesday nights. It is every other Wednesday, and sometimes they are there on off-weeks too. It’s really spectacular music in a totally genuine setting. It seemed like half of the people in there had an Irish accent. There was condensation on the windows and futbol on the telly, which adds up to a genuine-feeling Irish experience. One thing is really didn’t like is the«native Texan» bumper sticker pinned above the bar. Texas is bad. However, there is also a graffiti that reads« .» Go to that link. I dare you.

Such amazing Pub Food! if you’re looking for a traditional Irish Pub, this is the place. They have several awesome pies to choose from(Steak and Mushroom Pie is my favorite) and other traditional fare such as Scotch Eggs or Fish and Chips. It’s a somewhat small and dark bar(as you would expect) with a few TV’s showing soccer, and traditional Pub beers on draft. It’s not a routine spot for me, but more of a specialty place when I’m in the mood for a Guinness, or specifically hungry for some heavy Irish food!

Step into Ireland when you visit this quaint and rustic little pub. The owners are the real deal and so is the food and the Guinness. My favorite item on the menu is the Dubliner sandwich; warm sliced roast beef with sautéed onions and melted cheese on a roll that’s crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I love it with a ton of HP Sauce, that stuff is crazy good. Wash it and your day down with a couple pints of Guinness and you’ve got it made. Don’t come here expecting speedy service, this place is about chilling and not rushing in and out. Sit down, order a pint and let the day melt away. Claddagh Cottage is the perfect place to unwind.

Was a little scared when we pulled up… not the best neighborhood. Once you’re inside though, you’re in Ireland. Pretty nice little Irish bar. Good beers on tap, and good place to catch up with friends

I’ve been bugging my bf to come by this spot ever since we moved into the area and we finally did last Wednesday. I just love this type of atmosphere! Plus, I’m an Irish girl from a big Irish family(ok ok I’m Italian and German too, but we don’t talk about them) and everyone knows that Irish people are the best. I felt very at home here and there was a live band who were quite warm and friendly towards us. Apparently they’re there every other Wednesday so we’ll be back again for that. We had actually primarily come there for the food and I was surprised that this place is actually much more a bar than a restaurant. I’d hardly call it a restaurant at all actually. The menu is limited and we each ordered the Cottage Pie so I can only attest to that — it was delicious. That’s all that needs to be said. Just the kind of lovely comfort food that pairs perfectly with a cold glass of beer. Which we also ordered. A Kilkenny for me and Guinness for the bf. Very nice. There are dart boards and pool tables, but we didn’t get around to using them. We’ll definitely be back though. We were digging the divey, yet homey feeling in the place. No pretensions or need to put on airs. Very relaxing. The only downside is that it’s rather small and definitely cramped. There was hardly room to stand in the main area with the bar. Luckily, the game room was much emptier and there are a few tables there so I’d suggest sitting there if you want some semi-privacy. The tables in there would be good for bringing a card game or something too. TL; DR It was great — I’ll definitely be back! If you don’t like dark, cramped dive bars though then this isn’t your place. That’s ok with me though. More seating for the rest of us. =)

I have used Unilocal for years, and this is my first review for good reason. Immediately welcomed by the wonderful owner Darren. My little brother is 20, but my older brother and I enjoyed a Guinness and blue moon for only 4.50. All three of us ordered the steak and mushroom pie, and it hit the spot immaculately! Our vacation to Florida is short, however we are coming back before the trip ends.

AWESOME food and Jimmy knows how to pour a proper Guinness. Irish music every other Wednesday. Part of me wants to write a bad review, to keep the hipsters away but alas, we will just ave to give them the stink eye and scare away them and their skinny jeans.

A visit to Claddagh Cottage on a rainy Friday night inspired thoughts of sitting in the corner with a book or a notebook, nursing a Magners and eating a hearty bowl of good Irish stew. The food and drink were both delicious and plentiful, the friendly Irish bartender pleasant and quick, the music traditional and lively, and the atmosphere all — around enjoyable for anyone who appreciates a great traditional pub. Clearly, lots of good bar games and good times to be had here. The hole in the wall exterior is a gateway to the Old World from Conway Rd.

This little pub is precious. In fact, it is so precious that I am willing to overlook my contempt for traffic and drive out of my way into the rather unsavory part of Orlando where this gem is hidden just so I can enjoy a perfectly poured Guinness and a Steak & Mushroom Pie after a long day at the office. The atmosphere is sickeningly authentic, from the traditional Irish music and steel darts all the way to the mismatched wooden tables and outdated bar stool upholstery. Upon entering, you are greeted by a friendly bartender and a vast array of seating options. There are stools at the bar, high top tables, and a few wall booths mixed with traditional height tables and chairs for a more intimate experience. If none of those sound appealing, you can venture into the second room where a more recreational vibe pervades. There’s a few vintage couches, a pool table rigged for endless free games and several dart boards in the back with chalkboard cricket scorecards. Claddagh’s is the ideal place for a casual meet up with friends or coworkers; you can drink pints and play games to your heart’s content. If you’re feeling hungry, I strongly advise you get one of the pies. They are so flavorful and you can’t beat the $ 8 price tag, especially when you pair them with a nice smooth stout.

Tl;dr: good place for some beers and talks with friends. Good food overall, but you need to make sure they’re actually hot. Finally, double check your bill before you pay it! —– I liked this bar. It had an Irish feel(judging from the movies and history documentaries that I see) from the interior with its dark wood, stone walls and low lights. You see some glimpses of history and Guinness on the walls too. Food was fairly good too, if not for the fact that some parts of it were indeed cold. Came into this place with no expectations, just looking for an experience. Coming in on a Friday night, I expected this place to be popping and loud. Funny enough, it wasn’t quite that way at all. It was actually very«chill» and cool. There were a group of dudes throwing darts while drinking some Guinness(very good by the way, perfect pours), some folks by the bar, some by the pool tables on the left room, and some small groups of 2 to 4 on the tables to the right. Compared to previous bars that I’ve gone to, this place was in fact very mild. You could hold conversations with your partners or friends without the need to yell. I liked the ambiance. Laid-back, relaxing, and great people there(no obnoxious loud types). Onto the main part: the food. I ordered the cottage pie and scotch eggs with a pour of Guinness. Beer was great, nothing else I could say. Perfect pour, great taste. Scotch eggs were good for the most part. Boiled eggs within baked sausage with some toast and butter and some onion, tomato lettuce on the side. Was not warm though(but I’m not quite sure if that’s normal or not. Personally didn’t mind too much). My disappointment came from the pie however. Taste was great to me. Good portion, mild, not heavy on salt at all, and you could taste the different meat and vegetables with the mashed potatoes. BUT big problem was it was cool/borderline-cold on the inside. On the outside from the top, it was hot(not tongue-burning as was suggested by the guy). As you dug deeper, it turned to lukewarm. By the time I went to the middle it was cool gravy and and minced meat. Casted some doubt into me about the quality and preparation of their pies unfortunately. Overall, the cottage pie tasted fine. Just the way it cooled that left me a little unsatisfied. I also got overcharged as well, but I’ll blame that one on me! In conclusion, if you’re looking for a nice casual place to have some beers and talks with friends and try out some different pies, I would suggest giving this place a shot. They have dart boards and pool tables for those who are interested in some extracurriculars. People were all nice overall and I have a strong feeling that is actually the type of people the place attracts. Good overall. I plan to come back again to give the pies another chance.

One of my groups favorite spots. Mix a few of the best beer suppliers behind the bar in town and some of the most delicious cottage pie together and you have bliss. Authentic is an understatement!

What you’d know in a small and local pub. Local folk and great Guinness! They have a good amount of seating besides the bar :) I will go again to try the good that looks delicious from other reviews!
