This is my first time ever eating here and as I waited at the front counter No One even acknowledged me, said hi or anything. Even though there were 2 employees in and out of that area. The first, Eric, seated a group that came up after me and then when he returned to the front did not acknowledge me still, grabbed a towel and went to go bus a table. Incredibly rude. The other employee was busy taking a lengthy to go order on the phone so that is understandable. But the service from Eric was horrible. Not something I would expect at all, especially since they were not busy. Very disappointing to say the least. I don’t expect I will be back again :///

I love smokey bones and eat here a lot. This is my first really poor experience and its two-fold. My pulled Pork came out burnt and dry. I told the server Yessenia and she said don’t eat anymore and I will get the manager. I waited over 15 mins, lost my appetite and the manager never came out so I started packing up the food that I could take to go for tomorrow. I paid and then find out Yessenia forgot to ring up my to go order. I see the manager chatting at a distance. He finally comes over… o don’t think she told him about my situation and definitely not service recovery. The manager admitted my experience sucked because they weren’t prepared for Memorial Day… STAYAWAYDURING A HOLIDAY. I guess that what’s contributed to it :(. Hopefully I will return…

Today is Mothers Day and my sister & I brought my Mom here. Well all there food came out and my simple chicken Caesar salad didn’t. After 15 minutes my sister questioned and they brought to me ice cold. Told the waitress I didn’t want it. But check this out they box it for me how crazy is that. No manager came over and waitress didn’t care. So now once my family finishes I still have to get food. Ruined my Mother’s Day dinner. My biggest problem is that the manager should have come irregardless he is professional who didn’t act that way and should be ashamed. I have never eaten there and won’t go back or refer it to anyone.

I was sceptical at first of Smoky Bones because too much smoke bothers my stomach. I ordered the half chicken plate as did my wife. It was entered than expected. Perfect amount of smoke. A little pricey but good. Damn awesome beans. We’ll be back for sure

Good food and choice of cocktails, always come back for it, but service requires improvement. Especially bartender, Im a regular customer and there is one bartender girl who always behaves rude, one time she threw menu at me! Other than that, good atmosphere and food.

We have tried this location twice and the food was bad both times. The smoked turkey was so dry i could not finish it. My daughter would not eat her food said it was«discussing«. I usually dont leave bad reviews, but this is to try to help you from wasting your money here.

They tend to be a little pricier than your average sport bar. However, I like going to this place late at night. I think they have one of the best cocktails menu. They are continuously revamping it. My favorites are the Pineapple Express and the Berry Sangria. Of course, they have beers on draft, if you decide to not go for one of the delicious cocktails. They have a late night menu starting at 10pm. It’s all your favorites greasy bar food on special: fries, loaded nachos, pork sandwich, onion rings, wings, etc. I can’t contained myself and I pig out eveytime.

I went to Smokey Bones on a Sunday afternoon with a group of friends on a mission to find delicious wings. I must say that this location did not disappoint. To start we ordered sixteen of the smoked wings along with the buffalo chicken dip appetizer. The wings were exactly what we were looking to hit the spot, they had a great smokey taste with a lot of flavor. The rub goes perfect with the crispiness of these wings and if I could have had just that I’d eat them all. For wing fanatics, they do have all you can eat wings on Monday nights after 9pm… so I will definitely be back. The buffalo chicken dip was good, but definitely skippable… it’s room better served for more wings. We also got one order of St. Louis style and one order of baby back ribs to share with the table. The ribs were almost fall off the bone and were delicious. We went in looking for some good BBQ and left very, very happy. The service was great, the staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. If you are looking for some good BBQ at decent prices, take a stop into Smokey Bones across from the fashion square mall, you won’t leave unsatisfied!

Good BBQ, particularly for a chain. I enjoy all of the meats. Favorites include the baby backs, brisket and turkey. The sides are plentiful with a wide variety. And don’t forget a bag of donuts. The atmosphere is adaptable to many different occasions. 30 beers on draft with multiple screens for a sports outing. Music playing but not overpowering for a date night or family time. Good service.

I do really love Smokey Bones. Their food has always been decent, never phenomenal, but I love the atmosphere for watching sports. The reason I only give this place 3 stars is because of their service. We tend to sit at the bar and we’ve only had 1 or 2 good bartenders. There is one bartender that has worked there for as long as I can remember and if we see her at the bar we will intentionally sit somewhere else. She has always been very rude to us and way too loud. We have, however, had some good servers, which gives us hope each time.

A Typical chain. Good food. Good Drinks. Prices are par for the chains of this sort. Our server the last time(Oct 6, 2015 around 7ish pm) was Stephanie. Cute and was on point with all the details. Will I go back? Yes. It was an expected experience. Side Note: Seems they have a trivia game going on at night as well.

Let’s start off by saying that I really like the restaurant, but tonight’s meals fell really short. I got the brisket sandwich with peppers and a side of fire roasted corn. The sandwich was barely edible. All I tasted was grease. The was no flavor to the meat or peppers. Very disappointed. The fire roasted corn was good, but again there was no fire flavor. It just tasted like corn. Be very careful what you order. It may be a while before we go back unfortunately.

Smokey Bones is a safe haven for people looking for American Cuisine cooked well. Specializing in BBQ and Hot Wings, their pulled pork is not the best in town(Bubbalous IMO) but is consistently tasty. Each table is loaded down with 4 sauces that can mix and match well, and a full bar with some craft beers and hard liquor makes this a fun place for after work. The music sucks, some weird mix of TOP40 and American Pop. Family friendly.

I really am a fan of Smokey Bones — even though the barbecue isn’t amazing. It’s basically an Ale House environment(but darker) with Sonny’s food and a hint of edgy-ness, while still being corporate. At it’s core, Smokey Bones serves decent BBQ. They have a large menu(and recently reinvented) with lots of options — some BBQ-centered and others more of the bar & grill variety. It’s a really solid sports bar option with areas geared for more bar-friendly patrons and another dining area with less TV’s and away from the potentially rowdy bar crowd. Smokey Bones also has REALLY good beer selection for a chain restaurant — and have always been fairly progressive in the craft beer scene(they were years ahead of the other big chains). I’m a big fan of the Half Cuban sandwich & New Brunswick stew combination, or sharing a platter of smoked wings(seriously crispy with a nice rub) and a BBQ combo platter(brisket and sausage probably being my preference). The roasted corn side with it’s roasted corn and little bit of spice is a good choice — fries and coleslaw are average, but baked beans are BBQ-ey and another good side choice. The brisket and pulled pork aren’t the best(and I don’t know about the ribs — cause why?) but they are decent, and go well with their spicy sauce. They have a really good Carolina mustard-based sauce, too. The service is usually decent — but if you don’t mind, I’d definitely recommend sitting at the bar(it’s pretty spacious, too) — as they have a really good crew of bartenders. There isn’t anything wrong with the table service — I’ve had above-average service, and below-average service — but this is the kind of place if you have a problem, you can talk to a manager who will resolve the problem immediately. I give it a thumbs-up, just not two…

Dined here last night and stop here from time to time mainly out of convience. Smokey Bones is pretty decent and consistent in their food quality. Granted its not the best BBQ in town, but they have some tasty things on the menu. Some of my faves? Try the dry rubbed wings, bread with beer cheese dipping sauce, baked beans and pretty good Mac and cheese. Last night I went with the basic pulled pork Sammy, good, not amazing. I also ordered a specialty Margarita that packed zero punch. The service was good, our server checked back often even though it was pretty busy. We spent(2 adults one child) close to 70 dollars with tip(only one alcohol bev ordered) to be honest I feel it would have spent better elsewhere. In a pinch this place is not bad, but I’d search for better options. I will say to watch a game, big parties or family this place is a great venue for those.

Smokey Bones is a fair size chain that we’ve eaten at throughout the east with mixed results. Some of them offer solid BBQ and others are just average. This location is slightly better than average with good service. There’s few better places in the area to come watch sporting events. With TVs scattered throughout the restaurant it makes for a better than average chain experience. As for the food, some is very good and others are ok. Meanwhile, if you’re comparing this chain to others like Friday’s, Applebees, etc, expect more here. The quality, service and price is better at Smokey Bones and there’s a large menu to choose from, guaranteeing there will be something for everyone. There’s two locations in Orlando, both comparable and great places to take the family for dinner, for a celebration or even a date(if she eats meat). On our recent visit the turkey was extremely dry, but the pulled pork passed the test as did the smoked wings. Fortunately, the side salads come with a choice of better than you’d expect dressing and the mash potatoes and gravy are tasty, too. Your best bet here is trying a combo, you can choose one on up to several meats and two to as many as you want sides(you’ll pay extra for more than two). Keep in mind, soup or salad is considered a side. There’s many meats to choose from allowing you to mix and match your favorite or try something new. Take this route and you’ll enjoy the experience here.

I’m not usually big on chain restaurants, but I love Smokey Bones. This place is just reliable. It seems like whenever other restaurants are closed for whatever, Smokey Bones is open. It seems like the restaurant is slightly geared toward sports fans, so if you’re going there to watch a game, it *might* be crowded, but I can’t say for sure since I honestly don’t care about sports and I always seem to show up when a sporting event isn’t taking place. The décor is pleasant, and all of the staff that I’ve interacted with have been totally friendly and helpful. And whoever is in charge of the radio needs some props because they usually play a lot of songs from the 90s, so I can sing along to some Weezer as I’m waiting for my food. And the food is great. I’ve tried a few of their burgers and sandwiches as well as their ribs and nachos. All of those were on point. Each table has a selection of different types of BBQ sauces for you to add some flair to your meal. The prices are fair. Not once have I felt that I was paying too much for something. The food comes out fast, but it’s always well prepared and the meals aren’t messy. They never feel like they were hastily put together. They run their kitchen like a well oiled machine. All of the times I’ve been here, they haven’t been super busy, so I have time to shoot the breeze with my friends for a while after our meals, and we never feel rushed to get out of the restaurant. If you’re looking for some good BBQ style food and some great burgers, give Smokey Bones a go. If it’s a holiday, and you can’t find somewhere to eat, Smokey Bones has got your back. Also, one final plus, the last time I came here, there actually was some football game going on, and there were a lot of sportsball fans in there cheering for whatever happened with the ball. Thankfully, the hostess sat us far away from those folks so we could enjoy our meals in peace. Thumbs up!
