Great prices — especially for students. I’ve only used this location twice so far but since then I’ve seen a difference. I use the Level 3 bed and lotion provided at the location. The lotion was $ 29 there and I saw it for $ 22 on EBay so the pricing isn’t too bad at this South Beach. I’ll wait until I build a base tan and probably move up to Level 5 for a few weeks… The great thing is you can change levels and the cost is «prorated» so you don’t have to pay for a whole month.

First timer! LOVEDIT! It is clean and if you are lucky and Nicole takes care of you, you would end up having a really good experience plus discounts! She was very knowledgeable and even tho i did my own research, she knew was she was talking about. Not pushy at all. Two other people singed in as well thanks to this girl being so nice and helpful. I got level 3 «Stand up» ONE(As I have a base built in the beach already) and i love my skin color! Also, purchased CAMO lotion and smells delicious… got 20% off on my purchase. Thank you.

This place is clean, the girls are nice a a always tell you about the specials without being pushy. They explained how the beds are different and I’ve even gotten a few suggestions on mixing up the beds for better results. Go for the package and use the specials.

this place meets all my tanning needs. from when you walk in and are greeted by the friendly staff, to the comfortable beds, and the extra amenities, I really like the place. I’ve been tanning for the free week for first timers and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The place is clean and pristine and the tanning beds provide satellite radio, a mint, hand sanitizer, and even deodorant! My only reservation is that wink eaze(the eye protectors) are $ 1 each. I would recommend purchasing your own eye protection wear there that range from $ 4-$ 6.

This location has the best tanning beds and is super clean. On top of that the people who work there are super friendly.

I’ve been tanning here for a few years now. I go through my phases where I will tan often for a month, and then I skip a few. I have spray tanned at this facility, and I will say it is tricky to do so. No spray tan is fool-proof and it takes practice to get it right. I have always done the higher-performance beds. The beds that are Level 1 and such are much smaller beds, and I prefer the package that includes the large beds & the stand-up to help get better coverage. For the most part, I never have to wait here. The girls are friendly at the desk & I don’t think there are any better alternatives. They can be a little pricey, but when it comes to tanning, you really do get what you pay for.

I have used this place several times. I had a year long membership and did not renew it. I also have spray tanned there several times since they opened. The past two times I have spray tanned, I have come out orange! I tried both the clear and bronzer spray tan and had the same results. I would not recommend spray tanning there! Something had to changed in the solution! They advertise all these great packages, like tan for 18.88 a month. However, you have to give them a credit card and enroll in automatic deduction and the only way to cancel is to pay for the three months. Plus you have to pay a fee to join if you do that as well. My last trip in I purchased a month pass. That did the job for me. I continue to go there because like the other reviewer said, Planet Beach is too costly. I quit going there because of that reason. However, at Planet Beach they had body sprays you could use on your way out to hide that fake and bake smell plus you could use as many towels as you wanted to grab. At South Beach, the towel is already on the bed. The facility is clean. Some of the staff at the front counter are helpful and others are ditzy and annoying.

Again, I was on the hunt for a great tanning salon close by and not paying for the Waterford Lake price-trend… Found South Beach by driving by their humongous balloon advertising $ 18.88/month for unlimited visits. Sure why not?! Stopped in and learned they have 1 – 20 visit packages starting at $ 8/single visit and monthly packages, as well. They also have a great promo to transfer your contract package from one place to theirs… check out the site for more info! Here is what got me! Stopped in at Planet Beach first on the other side and learned any service there required an obscene sign up fee on top of their«ever changing» name-brand prices! Never have I heard about a sign up fee for a tanning package! Well here at South Beach there is a $ 24 sign up fee for the unlimited packages but you also get $ 25 worth of upgrades credit back. And no sign up fee for the visit packages. Got 5 visits for $ 29.95 on the level 1 Santa Barbara bed. That’s enough for me since I’m not an frequent tanner and don’t require the special UV free ones! But if you opt for the nicer beds, this is the place! Just walking through, I could see the other beds and I was impressed! Even the BF and his brother(who got their cruise base tan here too) were impressed… They even have cute stickers right in front, where other places I’ve seen them tucked away or even need to be asked for… Can’t wait for my summer tan!!!
