This is one of the worst Subway locations I have been to. It’s right near where I work so I end up here a lot, but I am continually disappointed. They are always understaffed for the lunch rush and it becomes a madhouse. They have somehow messed up my order almost every time I go there, even though they make it right in front of you?! I’ll tell them what I want but they’re all so distracted that they’ll end up throwing something totally different on my sandwich. In addition, there always seem to be inexperienced workers around; the person making my sandwich is always having to stop to explain how to do something to a coworker. The food quality is fine but the organization here is just really bad. If you’re craving Subway I would recommend a different location.

This Subway location opened at least a month, and maybe closer to two months, ago. It is located where Blockbuster Video formerly was and is next door to the Tijuana Flats restaurant at the corner of Princeton Street and Edgewater Drive. I’ve been maybe 4 times since it opened and each experience has been excellent. This store pretty much is what many of you will come to expect from a typical Subway, though to me it seems that it’s a little bit nicer than some of the others I’ve frequented. There are a lot of nice tables at which to sit, there’s plenty of space and the restaurant appears to be very clean.(Of course, the cleanliness factor is aided by the fact that this store is relatively new.) The employees here always are very friendly, too. Each time I’ve arrived, I’ve entered through the rear(the door not along Edgewater Dr.) and have been happily greeted by an employee the second they’ve seen me enter. I tried Subway’s breakfast for the first time yesterday. I was expecting some great things since the food in the commercials looks very good and the company has made a point of stressing the healthful benefits of the majority of its breakfast items. I tried a 6″ bacon, egg and Swiss cheese sandwich on wheat bread yesterday and also had some green and banana peppers as well as onions added. If you get a coffee, too, then you’ve got yourself a combo, which costs $ 2.99(I think; the total cost was $ 3.20 after tax). The sandwich was great and the guy who made it was very outgoing and enthusiastic. He suggested that the next time I return for breakfast there that I should arrive a little bit sooner(I think that I was here between 10 – 11 a.m. yesterday) so that I can get the freshest ingredients on my sandwich. I don’t know how much more fresh they can be earlier in the morning since the Subway ads suggest that anything ordered here qualifies as «eating fresh,» but whatever … I will be back for breakfast again soon. It’s really hard to beat a quality breakfast sandwich and at least medium-sized coffee for a little more than $ 3. I’m adding this business today because it didn’t previously exist as a listing on Unilocal(not as far as I can tell, anyway) and since, in the future, I want to be sure that I check-in to the proper location. I thought I was doing that yesterday on my phone, but what happened was that my phone placed me at the Subway location inside of the Orlando Science Center(which is close, but probably about a mile away from where I actually was). I haven’t tried that one yet, though I may never have to since this new one I now am reviewing is great. I’m so happy that this location now exists … other than the location at OSC, the next-nearest Subway is at the corner of Edgewater Dr. and Fairbanks Ave. which, while somewhat close to my house, isn’t right around the corner as is this new store. Thank you for opening up this shop, Subway! I hope that I am able to enjoy it as much as possible while I still live in this neighborhood. I may be moving this summer … even if I do, I may stop by in here if I am nearby.
