Very good service and good food. I had three soft tacos(chicken, ground beef, shredded pork) ~ they were all good but the pork was my favorite. My husband loved his gold enchilada with beans and rice. The chips and queso were also quite good. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food out to you. It has a nice bright and inviting décor and is very clean. If we’re in the area again, we will definitely return.

Food was good but won’t be going back because the prices are pretty unreasonable. Charging $ 1 for a side of salsa at a Mexican restaurant? Seriously?!

Tried this place out cause my boyfriend kept raving about it. In short, I wasn’t all impressed. Service was pretty bad. The lady wasn’t particularly rude or anything, but she sure didn’t go out of her way to be nice or inviting. I felt like I was making her angry because I asked if they had vegetarian options. She said the most she can do is give me a taco filled with beans. Eh, no thanks. I ordered just a plain cheese quesadilla and it had the flavor of a fine piece of seasoned cardboard. My guy may love this place, but I won’t be coming back.

Not bad for being cheap quick food. Not many options in the area. You are limited to fast food, pizza or Chinese. Very filling. Pretty fresh. Watch out for the spicy stuff.

The food was actually pretty good, if you don’t mind paying and arm and a leg for Mexican food. Being from Texas I’m used to a $ 7 – 8 taco plate that comes with two tacos, rice, beans, and chips and salsa. The meals here are a little expensive and I think it’s ridiculous to charge $ 3.50 for a tiny basket of chips and a miniature salsa. But to each their own. It’s right down the road from our house, so we gave it a try, but probably won’t come back.

My gf ordered the enchiladas came it covered in lettuce no rice and beans on side. And the meat was dry and chewy I assume it’s kept warm for orders. Im ordered the burrito which did have a decent flavor but unfortunately carried the same dry chewy chicken that had a weird flavor to it. The best part of the meal war the one Corona I ordered. 23 dollar tab I should at least have rice and beans with all entrees. To top it off it was served on Styrofoam plates and a plastic for and knife. Save your money and stay away!

This was OK but I am from San Diego so I am very picky about my Mexico food I think the prices is a little on the high side.

Would of been better if they offered a little more for the price they charge on the entrée.

I came looking for authentic Mexican tacos, being that I’ve been to Mexico many times. The tortilla and meat were not that hot. They didn’t taste like«street tacos» that were made fresh. Restaurant was clean and it had good Mexican music and decorations. I think Chipotle would have been better.

My husband I eat here every month or so. We always say we are going to get something different but we ALWAYS end up getting the same thing. He gets a burrito with ranchera filling which comes with Mexican rice and refried beans. I always get two soft fish tacos with no cilantro and mild sauce. Yes I am a wimp. They are so good! The staff is friendly and the food it brought to your table quickly. The Mexican music they play in the back ground can be a little loud but not too bad.

When I asked for Salsa Verde, the person who took the order was confused… This is bit of concern because if you sell taco you should know what is salsa verde…

Quaint little spot tucked away on the corner of Chickasaw and Curry Ford offering up some of the best street tacos at a great price. They’re stuffed full of your choice meat ranging from the standards to tinga, pastor, ranchero, tilapia and tongue. The burrito is huge, like need to plan your day around it huge or bring someone to share it with. They have two other locations around town. One in downtown on Orange close to colonial and on Hoffner and the corner of Conway.

Best chorizo tacos I have ever had. The other tacos are good too but chorizo is the way to go. Freshest ingredients and the soft corn tortillas make a great combination. You must try the guacamole, it’s excellent.

New employees don’t know what they’re selling, bad attitude of supervisor, very disappointed. Food is average, they almost charge you if you order an extra lemon.

I love Mexican food, and always like trying new places to compare. My usual gauge is steak soft tacos. First bite I ended up with gristle, which I spit out. My next complaint is that the steak was cold. Cold like it was pre-cooked and sitting in a container waiting for an order. I will NOT be coming back to this place.

There is nothing better than having a business lunch with a friend at a new place in my opinion. Well up until now I have not even heard of Tacos El Rancho but I am really glad Shawn picked this place. Since I had never been here before I simply let him order what he thought I would like. I had a beef taco with along with the Gold Enchiladas with beef, ½ of a Steak Chimichanga and a 12oz bottle of Mexican Coke a Cola. I normally do not have a Coke but I was told that these are the ones made without High Fructose Corn Syrup and MYGOD… It actually tastes JUSTLIKE what I used to drink as a little boy. That was a REAL Coke a Cola so I will NOW be looking for those in the store since I was told you can now buy them at Publix. I started with the Taco and the last time I had a double shell soft taco was when I was in San Diego a few years back at a place the locals were raving about in Old Town. I did not need to doctor it in any way so I would have to say it was a hit with me. Their black beans were the consistency of refried beans but actually had some flavor. The rice was actually quite flavorful and usually rice is just rice but they used some kind of stock in it that gave it a nice flavor. The enchilada was not what I was expecting but it was the flavor was right on point. It was now time to dive into that Chimichanga and it was one of the best I have had thus far. The steak was quite tender and not chewy like I was expecting and just like everything else… No doctoring was needed. I am glad we split it because the Chimichanga ALONE was a meal. I was told about a drink they have called Horchata and decided to try it as well. That was an experience in a cup right there. It tasted like a liquid Churro to be candid and it was one of the most unique drinks I have tasted thus far. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to go for lunch with some OFFTHECHAIN authentic Mexican food, check this place out. You get plastic silverware and Styrofoam cups and plates but the FOOD is what you eat. I will be coming back for Taco Tuesday!

It’s really good my go to for taco Tuesday, tacos, Margs, and beers are $ 2 each! Love it. Excellent for dine in and carry out. Although they did forget my salsa and extra lime on 2 separate occasions.

I like this place a lot. I’ve tried a number of the meats, which are good, but I always go back to the pastor tacos. The mild tomatillo sauce is awesome! It’s got just a little kick to it that makes it perfect for the tacos. I’m interested to try the chimichanga soon.

Ordered the gold carnita chimichanga to-go and it was awesomely delicious. Portion was huge. They do not skimp out on the toppings either, and something I haven’t seen before was lots of cilantro on my chimichanga. I love cilantro! And the queso mmmmm that queso. I’ve been trying to find a Mexican place with great chimichangas and I think I’ve found it. Best chimichanga I’ve had in Orlando.

Was craving some good Mexican so i searched Unilocal for one close to me and reasonable. We decided to give this one a try and so glad we did! They are very friendly, VERY clean inside(even the kitchen which is open… which is hard to find nowadays) We tried a couple different things and everything was amazing! Lots of flavor and a lot of food for a reasonable price. Glad to finally have a new Mexican restaurant to go :-)
